Great service

Store couldn't help with a refund of an online return because the product had come from another shop instead of the warehouse. Gave me a premium phone number to sort it out myself. Surely Go outdoors can do better! I don't care where the product has been sent from. You need a consistent service with in store refunds.

Excellent customer service, very supportive and colleague quick to respond. Great experience and pricing with discount card excellent value. I will shop here again.

The assistant was polite, very helpful and knowledgeable - good old-fashioned service in a modern way which is commendable.

I was served by Gracie yesterday and she could not have been more helpful. I needed a number of items and she dealt with them very well.

Very good service reserved ahead of time and helped find other items that I needed in a hurry for vacation. Store whilst relatively small was well stocked and staff were very polite

Simran was very friendly and helpful over the phone in checking stock availability for my chosen walking shoes/sizes. The large GoOutdoors in Derby had limited sizes available but Burton GoOutdoors Express had what I needed (and more).
A drive over to Burton and served by equally helpful and patient Harry as we tried on numerous sizes…. Success!
Got the shoes I wanted and the availability was so good that we walked out of store with 4 pairs of walking shoes. Many thanks to Simran and Harry for 1st class customer service.

I went into store, and tried on a pair of ladies craghopper active fit trousers, which were just a bit too long as regular fit for me, and although they didn't have it in short leg in store, the young lady kindly searched and ordered a pair for me, which were even delivered to home in time for my holiday!

Needed to replace my very old walking boots. Was very fortunate in having an assistant help me to choose who really knew his stuff. Thanks Charlie. You
gave me lots of useful information about boots that I wasn't aware of. If only more shops had assistants like Charlie prepared to give their time to help and advise without being pushy. He is a real asset for Go Outdoors.

Great customer service - friendly and helpful staff.

Visited the store on Tuesday 26th. Being a bit of an outdoors novice I was looking for guidance and help. The staff were very helpful and answered all my questions, leading me in the right direction.
I will definitely be back with my shopping list.

I ordered and had it delivered to store. That’s where the great service ended.
Went into Burton store and the staff were dire. The lady behind the desk looked like she needed a good wash and when I showed her my order ref she was having trouble finding it. Apparently it was the only pick up order there 🫣
Scruffy lady then to proceeded to try to charge me a stupid price for my item even though I had a DofE card and an email showing otherwise. Eventually a sensible member of staff came and sorted my order out.

I had to return/exchange an item of footwear I purchased online, the staff member that served me was so very helpful - I must have tried 7 or 8 pairs of shoes before we found a pair that suited my needs. Excellent service!

Quick simple efficient trouble free recommend

I have been a regular customer for go outdoors, on this occasion I went as usual for a product that I always buy at the same price at the same store, for the amount of £70 l made my way to the cashier to be informed that the product that I bought was now £140. I questioned it and said I’m sorry but it says £70. She then went on to say if you have a membership with us for £5 then we will give you the product for £70, l argued my point that the product is priced at £70 , I was in a hurry I needed the product, l ended up paying the £5 for membership, but I have to say I will never step through the door of Go outdoors shop again, a membership should be an option, l was gobsmacked that if l didn’t pay the membership they would charge me an extra £70, PLEASE NOTE this product was always £70 previously, l feel l have been conned and could kick myself for purchasing that product. Bye Bye Go Outddors 👋
