From walking shoes to paddle boarding
I went to buy a pair of light weight walker shoes. Lee was efficient and friendly- more than happy to talk about paddle boards and the stock you are expecting in the next couple of weeks. Told me about the membership card -so I joined -great service I will be shopping at your Bury store again Julie

Was the worst experience I've ever had from you firstly went to bury instead of wigan had no feed back from bury whatsoever after there first time they told me 3 items out of stock got a refund that was it nothing after that.contacted customer care told me he would send me email to me never happened

Large store needs longer parking
Large store with lots to choose from, but as we were looking at different things to start our walking fitness journey the 2 hours free parking weren't long enough and the QR scanner to extend the parking wasn't working, sadly. So my husband got some things and I didn't. Another day trip to GO it will be.
Plenty of staff served by Lee who was helpful.

Great Service from Lee
I went to the bury branch today for the first time as I am currently learning to ski. I didn’t know how much of a discount I would get if I made a membership. I was served by Lee who explained the main benefits and saved me over £45 in total! Great service and would reccomend to anyone 😊

Made a recent order online after…
Made a recent order online after visiting the local Go Outdoors to look at stock. Was looking for a nice down jacket, and they had a few brands available - most I'd never heard of, but that doesn't mean anything as this was our first time shopping for a a down jacket. We checked a few out and settled on a Rab down jacket, however, they did not have the size and colour we wanted so we planned to order online.
The staff in store were lovely and attentive. We did notice that some of the Rab jackets did have some of the feathers coming out, which was concerning given these jackets are super expensive, but I guess it is normal to have some peep through.
We ordered online, it came very quickly. The jacket we did also have loose feathers coming out...which isn't a reflection of Go Outdoors, but the brand purchased.
