Excellent retail.
Really good bargain price cotton tee shirts and all the wet weather gear you could wish for.
A very friendly and helpful cashier Julia really supported me as I renewed my Go Outdoors membership and got access to the massive sale savings.
I’m autistic so this kind of assistance is invaluable when I get it.
Thanks to everyone working over the Easter weekend.

I have not been to the store in some time, but my sister needed some items for her motorhome, so we decided to call in. We were able to get everything that she needed as well as some other items easily. The staff were on hand to assist us locate what we needed and then process our sale. Jane on the till made the experience of registering my sister for membership simple and easy, whilst she chatted away and asked if we had been able to find everything that we needed. Overall experience 10 out of 10!

Excellent service from Jane as usual - she always goes above and beyond to assist. I was looking to order a battery for my boat and she was very helpful and even arranged for a colleague to take to my car. I would highly recommend.

My Girls are getting older and one of them has their p7 camp. followed by my other daughter haveing her Duke of Edinburgh camp in April. Stressfull times and panicking when i saw how much i needed from the list off all the equipment we need for there residentials trips. I wrote a list and checked it twice but I needed serious help. Then came Stuart I walked in to go outdoors and he saw me and he tried to hide "he knew i needed a lot of help" but this guy went seriously above and and beyond, Stuart knew exactly what I needed and 1 by 1 we walked almost the whole store ticking off everything I had on this list. Compass, whistle, sleeping mat, clothes you name it, it was on the list. Stuart helped me with everything but not just me he had conversation with my daughter as it's her trip and with him being a mountaineer. Was the icing on the cake. He turned it into a enjoyable experience than me stressing over looking where everything was. Stuart is a an absolute credit to this store and go outdoor, I will definitely be back for more residential equipment my Girls need in the future. Thank you Stuart for everything.

I used the shop as a UPS parcel drop off. Excellent service today by the lady at the drop-off point.

Jane was very helpful at the till when I bought a rucksack on 17 March 26. I love shopping at Go!!!

Staff was really helpful helped me pick out a bag wish i had got his name but really helpful and had solid advice it was on the 20th and he was working in the rucksacks area 10/10 would speak to him for advice again 👍

I couldn't find the item i wanted instore, so had to order online.
The said item was delivered to the store within 3 days and i was delighted with the quality and very reasonable price.
And because it was a store pickup there was no postage charge.

Returns are easy to do. Money back in the bank account very promptly.

Purchased a half zip top at a great price and was served at the till by a very friendly Jane. The till was playing up but she remained unflustered and was apologetic for the time it took to resolve. If all staff everywhere were like Jane the world would be a much better place.

Great staff who are always so helpful and friendly. I spoke with Shannah who was so helpful and kind and totally brightened up my day! She put a riding hat aside for me and took care of everything. Massive shout out to Stuart in the camping department. My partner and I visited the store on 7/3/2026 to pick up some gear for our upcoming trip on the West Highland Way. Stuart approached us and asked if we needed any help – and he really delivered!

He took the time to listen to our plans and what we needed, and gave us some really helpful advice on the gear that would suit our trip, and gave us a bag fit check!

Stuart talked us through our plans in detail and gave great guidance on tent selection, food, sleeping gear, backpack suitability, and packing choices. We really appreciated the time he spent helping us and sharing his knowledge and experiences.

Overall, a great guy and fantastic service! We’re looking forward to seeing him again in a couple of weeks to buy our tent, bag, food etc! Thanks again Stuart!

Really helpful staff all over the shop - one directed us to a sale rack which had an amazing deal on a Rab jacket with a tiny bit of cosmetic damage when we had been looking at a completely different area of the shop. Jane at the till was friendly and helpful as always and made sure the discount was correctly applied, and got staff to help with a price check on a top as well. Everyone came over and was really friendly to our dog and she even got a treat.
