Went to purchase some Walking Boots @ The Huddersfield store. Nice store and lots to choose from. Kimberley in footwear was very helpful, and helped in my perfect selection.

We went to Go Outdoors to buy an Air Tent and Stuart helped us to choose a suitable tent and accessories. He also gave us some handy tips on inflating the tent which I'm sure will come in handy. He was helpful and professional. Then at the till, Abigail was courteous and friendly and spoke kindly to my son. These things mean a lot. Thank you.

What a wonderful, friendly & helpful team are easily found in this huge store. I have visited before but in need of some good warm clothing I called in. I am a stroke survivor so although I may appear okay I struggle handling & understanding at times. abigail patiently explained why there were 2 different prices on stock & how the membership system worked. She kindly took me to a till & within minutes I was a member! She was kind & patient in assisting me to pay as keypads are a challenge.
I had a long & enjoyable wander around thd store & its various themed areas. All the sraff were smiling & helpful & I ended uo with a very full trolley & some very significant savings! Abigail came across & guided me to the till & assisted me by packing a large shopping bag, helping me process the member payment & explained the receipts.
We parted on friendly terms with me departing with a smile & feeling very happy about my dxperience and purchases! Thank you Abigail & all your friendky shop floos colleagues at Go Outdoors Huddersfield!

Visited the store on Saturday as we were going skiing and my wife needed some ski trousers and gloves. We were looking when a chap came and helped us named Stuart, his knowledge was unexpected, he guided us to all our requirements and explained the differences of materials he also asked if we had helmets which we didn’t as we were going to hire them . He fitted them and got the best prices he could. He is a credit to your store

Unfortunately I experienced an issue with a love to shop voucher while shopping in store on 12th January. I was asked to wait 48hours for the balance to be re-credited to the card, this never happened.

3 days later I called GoOutdoors to explain the amount hadn't been recredited. I initially spoke to Stuart who was polite and helpful, I later spoke with Alicia who was fantastic and made every effort to resolve my issue, she called me back on a few occasions and kept me upto date with progress and then proposed a few solutions. Later that day I visit the store to purchase some items with the agreed solution. I was then served by Kyja who was polite, knowledge about the products and aftercare.

Overall a great experience after facing a frustrating issue on my original visit.

Thank you very much to Harry for his professionalism throughout my visit. I tried on a lot of walking shoes and I am delighted with the service he provided. Having a baby in tow made it tricky for me, so his help in finding the right pair to buy was invaluable. Thank you! I love my final choice.

I called into the Huddersfield store today and couldn’t find what I was looking for. I asked a lovely young lady called Caitlin if these were in stock. She kindly took me to where they should have been and then when there were none left on the shelf she went to check in the warehouse and found me the items.
My members card barcode was also rubbing off so she set me a new one up and also checked the expiry date for me so I knew when it ran out.
I felt Caitlin really went out of her way to help me and made sure my experience in store today was a great one. Thank you Caitlin

Today I drifted into the store as I was on my way I to town from visiting another store. I was served by Kimberley who was incredibly helpful and professional. She offered me great advice on my purchase. She is exactly what a shop assistant should be:friendly and helpful but not pushy. I have in the past been put off shopping at certain stores by rude or surly staff. My experience with Kimberley would certainly attract me to the store again. She was fantastic. Keira served me at the till and she was also great. These are the kind of staff one wants to meet in a store.

Karen and especially Jade the manager were outstanding in their customer service. I had been sent a pair of boots instead of the jacket I ordered and they understood my frustration, empathised and ensured that I had a positive experience after the mistake. All the staff in the store are friendly and helpful I will definitely shop there again.

When we walked in, it immediately felt as though we were being racially profiled. Two staff members followed us around the store, and one of them even removed the hanger from the coat I was trying on. The security buzzer went off at the door, yet the same two staff members continued following us around the coat section instead of addressing the alarm.
At the till, the staff member appeared disengaged and unhappy to be there. Staff were openly complaining over the radios about having to work, to the point where someone responded, “It’s time and a half, get over it.” I understand it was New Year’s Day, but regardless of whether I’m spending £1 or over £100, I expect to be treated with basic respect—especially after being followed around the store.
I was not offered a bag at checkout and wasn’t even given a goodbye. This raises the question: is this really the level of service staff are being paid time and a half for?
A part of me intends to return the item due to this experience, but I am hesitant to do so as I do not want to encounter the same poor customer service or subject myself to further racial profiling.

An impromptu visit to the Leeds Road, Huddersfield store today as we were shopping in the area. A fantastic store with lots of different brands and products. There's currently a really good sale on at the moment and I ended up purchasing a pair of Adidas Terrex walking shoes which were in the sale and much cheaper than the Adidas on-line store and also the local sports shop JD Sports. The customer service was also excellent......I / we were served by Maggie. I would definitely recommend a visit.....great store for all outdoor clothing / equipment etc.

Came in for a few Boxing Day/ Christmas sales.

Picked out some great items, the store is laid out in such a relaxed but easy to find way. It makes shopping so much less stressful compared to other stores.

Maggie severed me at the tills and she was great, she had lovely customer service skills and made the experience very enjoyable.

Despite being a very busy day Nick and Caitlin took time to help me choose new boots and give advice what would be best for me.
