Great experience at Go Outdoors at the Arndale. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, and gave really useful advice. Charlie W on the till was especially helpful - guided me through the membership process, explained everything, and did it all with a smile at 7pm (I'd been at work all day and was ready to drop, so this was much appreciated!). Merry Christmas to all at the store 🎄

Samantha was amazing , very helpful as well as patience , she showed me me different coats , in the style I was looking for.
I purchased 2 coats.

I called in to GO OUTDOORS looking for a coat, had little idea of what I wanted. SAMANTHA, came over and help tremendously, she listened and took me to several coats to meet my needs, she was polite and professional.
I ended up purchasing two coats to a total of over £200

Callum went above and beyond helping me pick a waterproof jacket and explaining the differences between different types and brands. 10 out 10 for customer service in regards to the service provided by Callum.

I bought the trabel accessories. Those are helpful and useful. The store clerk, Charcie W was so kind. He introduced gently（not strong recommend expensive ones）, and he also told me about the trip tips（He has been there before）:)　It was brilliant experience. Thank you so much.

If I could give no stars I would. Had to wait as tills wouldn't accept cards, paid with cash but told I had to wait for receipt, after a while asked if I could cancel the transaction and get my cash back. I was then told the tills wouldn't open without a receipt. In total I was stood at the counter for half an hour. I will never return to this store and probably won't shop at Go outdoors again. Load of rubbish.

Worst experience ever, the girl at the till did not tell us that becoming a member will cost us £5, we got the discount but it’s very unethical to make customers member without telling them that it will cost £5. Very misleading.
When I raised this with the staff at the gate he told us that we cannot cancel the membership and cannot get a refund which did not make sense.

To all the shoppers make sure you check when buying something at the Manchester Arndale store.

My experience at GOOutdoors was excellent from start to finish. I came in looking for a high-quality winter coat and was genuinely impressed by the service I received.

Two members of staff, Sam and Toni, were particularly outstanding. They were both incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. They took the time to understand what I was looking for and explained the features of the Berghaus 3-in-1 jacket in detail, helping me find the perfect fit.

Their enthusiasm was infectious, and it was clear they weren't just making a sale, but genuinely wanted to make sure I was happy with my purchase. Thanks to their help, I left the store feeling confident I had bought the right product.

As for the jacket itself, I absolutely love it. The quality is fantastic, and it's exactly what I was hoping for. It's clear that GOOutdoors values both great products and exceptional customer service. Sam and Toni are a real credit to your team at the Manchester Arndale store
