GO Outdoors - Newton Abbot (Express) Reviews

The service provided by the shop was excellent.
The foods were well displayed and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Our assistant, Maria, although relatively new to the job, ensured that we were well looked after.
The new shoes that we purchased were of excellent quality and good value.
Thank you.

We went in the store just before closing and Isla was really helpful about the membership card etc. We didn't feel rushed.

I highly recommend the Newton abbot store ,I visited Friday as I needed some walking boots & meet such a lovely lady worker who name was Maria, she was so helpful & attentive in helping me the right pair of boots for myself.
Thank you for such a pleasant experience will be visiting again.

Great experience in store yesterday! All staff are lovely, especially Maria who was super helpful with providing me advice for my purchase. A very enjoyable shopping experience.

Had one of the best customer service experiences today 20th December 2025 with Isla and I believe the manager or supervisor working upstairs at around 12.30.

After explaining our nightmare with Millets online order which never arrived after three calls to customer service after ordering it the on the 5th of December.

Not only did they listen but they matched the price I had paid online. Honestly they have made my son and my Christmas. As the tent is his main Christmas present.
I felt listened to and I never expected them to go above and beyond when it wasn't their fault.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I was met by Isla & Millie, at the Newton Abbot store, both smilling , very knowledgable on all the products , agreed with me about lack of colour options in the mens section, ( but hey thats just a small thing in my head, who,s deciding over colour options Hmmm)
Anyway the point is both the girls are a credit to go outdoors, to be honest i would not have made a purchase, if it wernt for there service, Merry Christmas Isla & Millie, you deserve a lot more than a box of chocolates, thats my opinion.

Had the best shopping experience with your beautiful staff member Abbi ,she was more then helpful and a pleasure to deal with .

Really lovely little store, well stocked with a variety of items and also great for click and collect orders! Very friendly staff, particularly Maria who was lovely and really friendly with my young daughter!

Millie was very helpful and assisted with finding the right items at the right price for me.

Great service from Jo on Monday. Helped me find the right gifts 🎁. Thank you Jo

Abby along with her colleague assisted me in store today. They were both very friendly, and very knowledgeable about the products. They are super members of staff 🌟

Only popped in to replace a pair of gloves, got my expired membership card renewed & found what I was looking for very quickly. Very helpful & friendly staff, thanks.

Staff member Jo was extremely helpful today while our grandchildren were buying a gift for grandad who was shopping at the same time. She joined in the subterfuge very professionally.

A pleasant and helpful member of their team…..named Maria……gave support and assistance in helping me choose the right type of boots to wear.

Good service by Ruby. Thanks 😊

Went into the store today for a new waterproof jacket. The assistant Ruby was very polite and attentive, asking if we needed any assistance. Pleasant experience for sure.

I went into the store yesterday and was served by a lady called Maria. She was so friendly and very helpful. She told me she was fairly new to the store. I’m sure she’ll be a huge asset! I was really pleased with my purchase after she helped me find what I wanted to purchase. Thank you. Sue.

We visited the Newton Abbot store today and were greeted by the most delightful lady called Maria. She was extremely helpful and is an absolute credit to the store. We need more Maria's.

Millie very helpful when we went in to look at coats. We got a really good deal. Recommend going in and looking round shop worth getting their loyalty card .
