Excellent service with very helpful staff, Gavin in particular.

Went in on a whim, had a browse around but wasn't enthused by the colourways of the available walking shoes. However as I was considering leaving, I was approached by a store assistant - Gavin, who turned the whole experience around. Full of knowledge, he measured my feet, listened to the type of support and style I was looking for and gave me an amazing amount of information about the types of brands, shoes and support that would best suit my needs within my budget. Even some extra health tips to care for my feet. Although I didn't buy anything, I left the store a million steps closer to making a great walking shoe purchase thanks to Gavin!

Alam, Tim & Evie are always friendly, helpful and hard working lads at Go outdoor St Paul. They are always cheerful and helpful . That is the main reason i do shopping at St Paul store .

I went in to buy a new pair of walking boots. The ones I had previously are no longer available. Gavin was so helpful, measuring my feet and suggesting other makes that would suit me. He even gave me advice on tying up the laces to prevent my foot slipping forward in the boot. I have been to other Go Outdoors stores, and with the exception of one, have always found the service good, but Gavin was outstanding

Joel and Sara are super helpful and I managed to finally buy a waterproof understanding exactly the technology.

Gavin was super helpful in finding all the kit we needed for my daughter’s DofE expedition. Very knowledgeable about all the products, measurements and adjustments.

I'd really recommend Go Outdoors if looking for a wide range of stock and excellent staff. I went into the store trying to find a pair of trainers which actually fitted. Gavin was really patient with me, measured my feet accurately and patiently tried about 10 pairs of trainers. Unfortunately none actually fitted, but I never felt rushed and was offered great advice. Cheers Gavin and other staff at Go Outdoors.
