Previous coffee (Hazlenut) was sent quickly due to the batch we had been sent tasting old and tainted. Replacement batch was perfect! Highly recommend ♥️👏

Superb Coffee - As Always
This family run company produce many different flavours of coffee - my favourite is the Amaretto and my ‘fairly regular’ order is always delivered in super-quick time.
Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Always happy to support this team!

Have tried to pause the delivery (on account of our nespresso machine being broken) on 2 occasions and written asking for deliveries to be suspended, with no success . So I now have copious amounts of roasted beans. Hence the poor review. Please stop sending the beans until further notice.

Hi Geoff, thanks for your review and we are sorry the customer service team missed your emails on 2 occasions. We have now cancelled your subscription which was every 4 x months. Please consider reviewing the star rating as we try our hardest to please all customers and you know our coffee is top notch! Sorry you were let down on the customer service side and we do look forward to roasting for you again soon :)
Great Coffee Great Company
Simple website. Ordering is flexible and straightforward.
Coffee is of a very high standard with a consistent flavour which in the case of French Vanilla is gorgeous.
There is a rewards scheme which could be a little more generous but overall this company gets nearly everything spot on.

Hey Russell we appreciate you so much! what an amazing review it makes us so happy to see how much you enjoy our coffee :) As for the reward scheme it has been noted by one of our most loyal customers and we are looking into implementing more rewards / greater bonuses for being part of the HRCW family! Thanks for your fantastic feedback and helping us strive to make yours / everyone's experience with us the best!
Nice taste once grounded.

Thanks matt hope to roast for you again soon! :)
Not worth the money.
One bag was ripped, causing the beans to spill into the delivery bag and all over the floor when opened. The coffee itself is mediocre tasting, not worth the £45 I spent on two bags.

Elise we tried our best to please you. £45.00 for 2kg of high quality coffees including free delivery with dpd (costs us around £8.50) is a fair price as independent family run business.
We sent you a nice email in good time trying to help and even offered you to tell us what you felt was fair compensation for the bag which was ripped (due to dpd) The fact you didn't even reply to our email and leave us 2stars on trust pilot really affects our business and we tried our best to make you feel valued and appreciated.
"Hi Elise, to clarify we double bag the coffee in the dpdbags to hopefully ensure dpd don't rip the coffee bag and these issues don't occur.
I would like to think of this as a minor issue? We would never intentionally send a bag ripped but sometimes these can happen either during the packing or heat sealing and although we try our best to send every coffee perfectly perhaps it could have been missed?
I do however think dpd could have pierced/ ripped a hole in the bag during transit as this does happen every now and then.
How is your other coffee you ordered?
I assume that was delivered perfectly in tact?
We would love to supply you our coffee and regularly keep you caffeinated! So please tell me what you feel is just / fair compensation and i will go out of my way to ensure you feel valued and appreciated for supporting our family run company?
I really do hope a small rip in the bag has not put you off using us as your new coffee supplier?
Kind Regards
Tom"
^The email we sent you which you never replied to^
please come back to us with what you feel is compensation you would like and we will do our best to rectify the issue caused by DPD.
Kind Regards

This Customer ordered Chocolate Praline and was surprised it tasted like hazelnut? Definition on google for Praline - Praline is a form of confection containing, at a minimum, culinary nuts – usually almonds, pecans and hazelnuts – and sugar. Cream is a common third ingredient.
Our flavouring ingredients ( Almond, Hazelnut & Chocolate)

Hi you ordered 50g x 3 flavour pack to try, the small amount is because its a sample pack. It takes the same amount of effort & labour to pack 50g as it does to pack 1kg along with post and packaging etc.. hence why we reward larger quantity with better pricing.
As for the taste sorry our flavoured coffee isn't for you please try our non flavoured! :)
Fast delivery but there is no hazelnut…

Great customer service, fresh coffee
Although HRCW made an error, in that one item delivered was not what was ordered, they responded almost instantly to my query and redelivered the ordered item promptly. Great service.
Fresh coffee with plenty of choice.
