efficient, friendly, professional - I was very pleased with their work

A great team of people. Haus Maids have been doing our monthly clean now for a few years and the service they offer is first class. The ladies work very hard and always leave our home gleaming. On the odd occasion when we need an extra or different clean they are always very accommodating.

Though the office staff were polite and responsive, the clean (even the deep clean) was always hurried and was never thorough. After the first clean, we thought it was a fluke but then promptly cancelled after the second because the bathroom had toothpaste on the backsplash that wasn’t cleaned and there was food on the floor. There was no attention to detail. We raised these concerns with the office but they didn’t try to make it right and seemed to accept the fact that the cleaning quality was poor but still charged us despite that. This whole operating model is scammy and designed to get £250 upfront so that they can move on to the next suckers. Though, this is hardly a sustainable business model. My recommendation is to avoid this company until they can focus on training their staff and delivering quality service.

Haus maids are very expensive. They will try to justify that by claiming to provide a superior clean. But they simply don't.

We gave them a trial run today. They charge you an exorbitant fee for the first clean (double what we normally pay our old cleaners) - stating this is the 'initial deep clean' to get us 'up to standard'. After that you still pay higher than average rates. Also they do not provide a guarantee time. They say "we will spend as long as it takes" which is a double edged sword. They should work to a set time like everyone else. And then you know what you are paying for.

The clean was distinctly average. I wouldn't go as far to say bad. But below average of what you would pay a regular cleaning company at half the price.

In no way would you call this a base or deep clean. We had numerous food stains/marks left on kitchen floor (they basically only lightly mop it). The bathroom sinks were still dirty. Several surfaces were not dusted. They don't place items back in their original locations meaning we had to spend some time going through the house re-arranging everything which was rather annoying. Its these basic things that would make a difference.

Even the simply task of folding clothes into piles was done incorrectly. All jumbled up and not in separate piles meaning we had to resort.

Overall the clean was average/below average. And if were paying a normal rate you might not mind. But you are not. You are asked to pay distinctly more that the going rate - and its just not worth it. Save your money and go with a company that cleans at the normal prices.

I am so impressed with the great work. Very professional job. Everything was done in right away and on time. I will recommend them to my friends. So impressed.

We had an excellent home cleaning service from Haus Maids Farnham. The team are very pleasant, super efficient and thorough. Our Kitchen looked like new again! I was impressed by the way that they were looking for more things to clean. The price reflected the service provided. In our opinion the most professional company we have ever dealt with over the past 20 years of using cleaning companies.

The reason you did not carry out work was your quote was through the roof and therefore I wouldn't touch your company with a barge pole! As other review says your company seem to think sharp practice is ok! Quote was astronomical, would not use my own brand new equipment without it being pap tested first. Inflated quote for an initial clean which was unnecessary as I have had cleaning companies in for years. Quoted well over £120 for a clean (normal payment £35 max). They were told not to do all rooms in house and they ignored me, I was told that there was no hourly fee but inflates the work, read other negative review. Agree totally with his review. There is NO WAY I would have this company cleaning my house as they try and manipulate the bill. Not time given so could go on for well over 4-5 hours cleaning but as I suspect they probably just leave after an hour as other reviewer said. Spoke to head office and they put phone down. Disgraceful. AVOID if you don't want to be ripped off. Be very careful before you sign anything and go elsewhere.

The cleaning work itself was excellent. However, the way Haus Maids price results in a deliberately inflated cost...I'll explain. Somebody comes to the house and quotes you, say £600 for a 4 bedroom, top to toe clean, they estimate 2-3 cleaners for two days. In reality, you'll get one girl for 7 hours on one day and two cleaners for 7 hours on another. It actually takes 25 hours of work. That results in an hourly cost of £24 per hour! They say the will stay until the job is complete, a great incentive for the cleaners to rush through and finish quickly. Regardless of any of this, you're still getting 25 hours of work for your money - and that means the quotation is always inflated by the estimator. It's sharp practice but you have no recall because you were given a quotation. It would be nice to get what you pay for or receive a more realistic quote.
