Healthcode creates unnecessary administration.
AXA Health used to use healthcode for invoicing. It was so time consuming that I complained and emailed my invoices directly to AXA, I also reduced my intake of AXA clients. AXA has since set up an efficient payment system on their website, which works well. So I assume I was not the only practitioner who didn't get on with Healthcode.
I also think that it is wrong that there is a lack of transparency about who owns this private company. This is a concern when Healthcode now has data sharing contracts for NHS staff and patients.

Very unethical company
Like others I would rate Healthcode is amongst the worst companies around. They simply operate a system akin to highwaymen in the past, whereby you are forced to use them and they overcharge you for using them in addition to forcing a subscription. Their interface is from the early days of the internet, complex, time consuming, illogical and confusing. Completely unethical.

I recently had some problems uploading invoices to this site. The problems have been ongoing since November last year. I must say that on the numerous occasions that I have called Healthcode they have always been polite and have done their best to help me. This culminated in a call today with Kevraj Virdee who went out of his way to solve the last remaining problem. He was patient, efficient and polite. I cannot praise him highly enough. It was refreshing to deal with him and I only wish other customer experiences could be as positive.

Heathcode Lite training…
I took the Heathcode Lite training today. Ethan was very knowlegeable and patient with me especially so that I am not very computer savvy. He took all the time to explain and I am glad I did this, though very complicated, but I need time to get the hang of it. I hope I had more time as there is a lot to take on. I have been promised constant support and I hope I will be there some day to excel in doing what I am trained and supposed to do. Thank you Ethan.

Insurer companies own this system, thus it is by design to be terrible.
If payments are ever made, you have to fight for them, It's always a practitioners fault for not getting paid, even if patients have issues on their end.
If you do ever have to deal with staff, they either don't reply to emails, or when they do they're rude.

Healthcode/Veda Integration
If anyone is thinking of integrating their physio diaries (I use TM3) with Healthcode's Veda clearing service - don't! The theory of it is wonderful but the reality is it is unbelievably complicated. 2 weeks in and hours of communications and there are still multiple error codes and not a single invoice has been sent from my system to Healthcode. Although Healthcode are great at picking up calls both them and TM3 expect you to know it all.

Health Academy trainer Ethan was very helpful and knowledgeable also understanding that I was new to the system and was happy to wait for me to grasp wha he was teaching me. My only negative is that despite being advised that I'd receive notes to help me after the call on both occasions I'm still waiting for them

I used to avoid telephoning Healthcode because of the generally hostile response, and they’ve improved greatly on that front. However, “insurer status” now seems to have disappeared, presumably behind a paywall.
Great customer service
I generally have very good experience with Healthcode. Cintia was quick and very helpful in resolving both of my problems. She also taught me a few things about using the system.
