Kgomotso from LG was amazing!

I want to give a huge shoutout to Kgomotso, the LG ambassador at Hirsches Silver Lakes.

We went in just looking around, but Kgomotso took the time to really understand what we needed for our home. No pressure, no rush - just honest advice. She walked us through the LG appliance features in a way that actually made sense, compared models properly, and even showed us little settings/tricks we wouldn’t have known otherwise.

What stood out most was her patience and how she followed up to make sure we were happy with our choice after purchase. You don’t meet service like that often.

If you’re at Hirsches Silver Lakes looking at LG appliances, ask for Kgomotso. She made the whole experience easy and stress-free. LG + Hirsches picked the right person!

I bought a DNA superblender at Hirschs Hýde Park and highly impressed by the customer service provided by one of the brand ambassador. She pitched and explained extensively about the product. Looking forward to my next purchase at the store.

Recently had the pleasure of dealing with Kamil at Hirsch's Fourways I cannot recommend him highly enough. His service was excellent and he was professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure a seamless experience. It’s rare to find this level of dedication and customer care. I bought a Samsung microwave at Hirsh Stores, Milnerton, in July 2023. Less that 3 years later it burst and no longer works. I was informed that warranty expired and the '10 YEAR GUARANTEE' on the face of the microwave only covers certain parts of the machine. I had to pay nonrefundable R 650.00 for inspection. That amount coupled with repair costs comes close to the purchase price. My previous microwave lasted for more than 20 years. I am disappointed with Hirsch; do they really sell quality products?

I bought a grey corner fabric lounge suit about 18 months ago, it was on special and I see it is again, unfortunately the seats are already starting to sag and feel uncomfortable. Would not recommend this suite. Carol

Poor After-Sales Service and Warranty Support from Hirsch’s Milnerton
I am extremely disappointed with the after-sales service received from Hirsch's Home Stores regarding my Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro.

During the warranty period, I reported charging and functionality issues on multiple occasions. The earbuds were booked in during April 2025, where I was advised the issue was software-related and a software update was performed. However, the problem persisted afterwards. I constantly had to wipe and clean the buds just to get them to charge or function properly, and over time the issue worsened until the right bud eventually stopped working completely.

When I returned to the store again, I was informed that the earbuds were now out of warranty and was presented with a repair quotation of R4,902.

My frustration is not only with the unresolved defect, but with the manner in which the matter has been handled. The store manager was unwilling to properly consider the fact that the issue had been reported during the warranty period and repeatedly focused only on the warranty expiry. I also received a call from Ushana, which I found highly unprofessional and dismissive. Instead of listening to the history of the issue and attempting to assist, the approach taken made me feel as though I was being treated unfairly and as though I was making unreasonable demands, which I was not.

At no point did I demand a refund or replacement. I simply requested that the matter be reviewed fairly, considering the defect was initially reported within the warranty period and appears to have remained unresolved from the first repair attempt.

While I appreciate Kaitlyn’s professionalism and willingness to investigate the matter further, the overall experience has been extremely disappointing and stressful for what should have been a straightforward warranty-related issue.

Based on my experience, consumers should be cautious when purchasing products from Hirsch’s, particularly when it comes to after-sales support and the handling of warranty-related matters. A company’s true service standard is shown when problems arise, and unfortunately my experience has left me with very little confidence in their customer care processes.

I've been coming to Hirsch Waterfall and the quality and service have been consistently excellent (Gopolang from LG)was particularly helpful and knowledgeable.

I went to hirschs waterfall and this loverly lady from sneppy chef gave me the best service with smile and patient she made sure I had everything I needed from the store.that was the best service people like her should be given their flowers thank you Phuti for the amazing customer service i will definitely come again for your services.

If you ever go to Hirschs Silverlakes, ask for JESSICA MATJOKANE! She provides the best service I have received in a very long time! We went to Makro and walked out with nothing! We decided to go to Hirschs and what a great eperience, within 30 min we had both items we wanted and the esxtended warrenty was explain in a manner even I could understand! Jessica you are the best! Thank you for the great service and being super friendly! The world needs more people like you!

Disappointing service!
I recently ordered a fridge from Hirchs online, which took more than 2 weeks to deliver. The delivery day was changed twice, very inconvenient and unprofessional. This was my first time buying from them, I had high expectations needless to say that will be my last purchase from them.

I had the most warm and amazing welcome by yet again Azam at Hyde park always smiling and knowledgeable with his products....very friendly young man helped me purchase the best products that I needed for my kitchen

Went to Hirschs for the first time. I was skeptical but was mind-blown by the diversity of options and how wonderful the store is. I particularly loved the price range from entry-level items to high-end. They truly cater to all customer budgets.

Special shoutout to Thuli for helping me find everything I needed. She gave me coffee, we explored product options and she matched the discount to the online only option and arranged for free delivery.

I feel very taken care off and will certainly use Hirschs for all appliance needs going forward.
