This company is a nightmare. I'm constantly being harassed by their phone calls almost every day, despite me repeating constantly to stop. This has been going on for over a year. Avoid at all costs.

HORRIFIC!

Avoid them at ALL costs. Told me I had won a holiday, I was originally delighted however said that I needed to speak to my partner about it. Was told I had 24 hours and if I wanted a refund I could get one. Called to cancel and no refund. They have now called to get me to take the holiday over 20 times and each time I have stated I wanted to complain, even raised it with their customer service team and nothing happens. If I could rate 0 I would. 2 years later they are still calling me telling me they are not a scam and I should take it. Utterly despicable people.

Said we won a holiday, but charged us for breakfast. Then told us we could have a weekend in any hotel on any date. After paying we find out you have to choose 3 dates & locations. Did this several times only to be told no availability on this dates. After a year of excuses & no availability - was told they couldn't refund us, but we had to pay more so as not to lose out completely. Got a refund from my credit card, after a year of them wasting my time

A scam. Phone you, pester you to buy the breakfasts for the 2 night stay you have “won”, but then you cannot book. They give you misleading and incorrect information about booking time frames (which were never explained at point of purchase). Then your “voucher” runs out without you be able to use your “prize break”.
I’m going to be referring to trading standards if my refund request for the breakfasts I had to purchase but cannot take is not actioned.
The email communication from them never has a named person and I cannot presently find any record of them being registered with Companies House.

Breakfast was great and the staff were attentive. Would happily stay again.

Conned out of £82 and they still keep phoning me asking for more, disgusting people stay well clear!!!!!!!

I am a hotelier and this website is a total con. They cold call and lie to people about supposedly winning a holiday and asking them to pay £82 for breakfast. I have tearful wannabe-guests arriving at my reception with supposed booking confirmation vouchers from this website. I have never dealt with them directly in my life. When I look at my online reservation system these people make a reservation using Expedia and then immediately cancel it but they have the confirmation email pre-cancellation. They are then copying and pasting their own brand on the top and taking £82 from people for supposed breakfasts for a hotel booking that does not exist. People show up thinking they have booked but the (Expedia) booking was made, never paid for, cancelled and the room/date re-sold to other people. What this company are doing is completely unacceptable.

Guests reading this, for the love of God book direct with your accommodation and airline. Stop using middlemen. Cold telephone call that you have won a holiday from a competition that you didn't enter. What on Earth? Wise up. It's a scam. Look at their registered address on Google Maps. It's a PO Box.

Absolute con! Avoid at all costs! They phone making out like you have won a competition and you just have to pay for breakfast. Take your money without explaining the actual process. State you have this huge choice of options and can stay whenever and wherever you want. But infact your options are completely limited.
Also when stating you have been misold they refuse to refund your money!
Completely taking advantage of people!

Absolute scam! Was told I’d won a runner up prize. 5 weeks postpartum I fell for it and was obliged to pay for the breakfast supplement there and then. I was also told as my children were under 2 they would go free of charge. I’m now told I need to pay another £70 on top of the £82 plus currency exchange fee for a prize I had supposedly won! Great way to make money by taking advantage of vulnerable people!

We were guaranteed a 4 star hotel after winning a 2 night break with Holiday retailers with the condition of paying for breakfast which I was charged £82 for 2 people 2 nights. Many of the options I was given weren’t available so settled on The Citrus Hotel Cardiff travelling on 08/06/22.
On arrival to the hotel we entered from the car park into a disused reception, we got into a scruffy lift down to the reception. We booked in with a pleasant receptionist and then proceeded to our room. The corridors were very shabby with filthy carpets, got to our room which had broken architrave around the door on entering the carpet was stained and filthy, the bed was broken the over bed light was broken, the windows had mould on them and the toilet looked like it had never been cleaned. I Rang Holiday retailers And spoke about my concerns to a very rude call handler.
We then complained to reception who allocated another room which quite frankly was no better this room had all the same issues with the added extra of food splashed up the curtains at this point we decided to leave the hotel. Another call came from Holiday Retailers who said they couldn’t understand they had used this hotel many times with no complaints.
I also pointed out that I had been charged £82 for breakfast that were advertised in the hotel at £8.95 per person.
We left having to find accommodation at a further cost.
I am still awaiting a reply from Holiday Retailers to the complaint that was sent 13/06/22 which I attached photos of the state of this hotel. I have never experienced such a bad hotel

Hotel very basic. Room tiny as was bathroom which was also dirty and in need of updating. Landlady very welcoming chatty and friendly. Breakfast far too early- 8.15 till 9am

Holiday retailers..relentless in their contact to sell their break aways but when coming to chose from what they told me were hundreds of hotels all over the country..they were lacking in time to search for you in different areas and lack of decent hotels within that search..very poor choice.
Took best of bad bunch..
Contact for feedback poor...arranged a time for call back ...they didnt call!
Not impressed with the company..wouldnt deal with them again.

The accommodation was okay but very noisy.

Holiday Retailers was recommended by our neighbours so we gave them a call for our break in Cardiff and we ended up taking a cheap offer for a nice looking hotel there, just came back today and we enjoyed our stay, great location and lovely hotel.

Absolutely lovely hotel rooms are large with all amenities, the owners where fantastic hosts and nothing was too much for them. Would definitely go again.

Won a competition with them but they wanted money upfront for the breakfasts and the hotel was free. We asked if we could pay for the breakfasts when we got to the hotel and they said no and whilst I was on the phone to them I brought up the reviews and I'm glad I didn't risk £82 I really can't afford to be risking that kind of cash atm. If you win a competition the only thing that would be acceptable to pay is the travel expenses to get there. Sounds like they are just trying to sell off empty rooms at a massive discount masquerading as a competition.

Edit. Holiday Retailers stop contesting this review it's verified by trustpilot after providing proof. I didn't review the wrong company and you have many company aliases thats the work of a dodgy company. You're still leaving voicemails after I've blocked your number I don't know how you're still managing to leave voicemails but I have proof it's you as you're addressing yourselves in the voicemails. Take the negative review and learn to stop harassing people with fake runner up prizes. When really you're just selling empty hotel rooms.

I had a 2 night bed and breakfast break in London. The room at hotel 65 was comfortable but across the road from the main hotel which we had to go to for breakfast which was cereal toast and croissants.
