So many problems due to Honda's new computer system, they have lost a loyal customer
We bought a new CR-V and it has been problem after problem. Despite having bought a previous car 3 years ago, and the road tax class being initially changed to Disabled, this time, e were advised inkyna few days before delivery that Honda's new Future Sales computer system could no longetlr do this, and that we had to pay it, but that DVLA would refund once we received V5C and took it to post Office. Car was collected on 31st March, V5C was received and taken to Post Office on 3rd April. DVLA changed tax class to exempt in April, but it took a further 2 months of chasing them to get a refund, and whwn it finally arrived, they refunded only 10 months, despite the fact we were exempt from the purchase date.
Initially Honda handled all other complaints quickly, but they are now choosing to.ignore us. We contacted dealership to tell them to remove us from their marketing lists, as we will not be buying another Honda. They phoned wanting feedback and said they will pass it on to a manager, but have done nothing to resolve. We have bought many vehicles over the years, and have NEVER had so much stress and have certainly never been left out of pocket due to no fault of our own.

My Honda Crosstar was still under warranty and a rear seal was broken. John in Service Parkstone, was very helpful. Booked it in replaced seal. Brought the car from shade out to me. With such hot weather that was really nice. Paper mats on floor and drivers seat removed. Excellent service. Thank you very much

Missed Honda Safety Recall letter: Known Faulty "DENSO" Low Pressure Fuel Pump (LPFP)
Note: Class action lawsuits in the US as the list of known affected vehicles continues to grow as investigations continue. "Customer Services" in Brecknell use an AI production system to both generate email denials, refusal to escalate complaints & to avoid any telephone contact with a real person. Honda's most recent recall campaign claimed faulty LPFP's only affected Mk10 models between Jan 2018 and March 2019. Their VIN internet info tool rejects my car despite clear evidence that 2017 models were affected which led to my car cutting out suddenly due to fuel starvation while driving with no warning. I am a long time loyal Honda customer have had my car since new and it has a full service history with an independent Honda specialist. Parks Honda (inverness) couldn't be bothered to answer my email requesting further information on my VIN. This is how Honda keep customers at arm's length - the opposite of real customer service. This is how to destroy a formerly respected Brand. Faulty LPFP now replaced with OEM replacement - from Honda! car working perfectly Note images show evidence of severe cracking of the original faulty pump which was known to be an issue at the time. Thank you for your attention and pass-on. PS a different & well known "official" Honda retailer serviced the car some time ago and actually 'forgot' to change the air filter! this discovered by the independent Honda specialist which was the reason to switch.
I bought a brand new Honda Jazz 2026 in…
I bought a brand new Honda Jazz 2026 in April and it broke down 3 times in one month and they wouldn’t replace it. They said nothing was wrong with the car. My first and last time buying from Honda. Honda Uk customer services do not care and make you feel like it’s your fault. I thought they were a good make/brand but not any more.
Disappointed customer
Had my honda jazz in for mot and service all very good and professional and kept us informed
Would have been 5 stars but I paid for a extra clean on my car and they didn't hoover the boot very disappointing otherwise very happy
Access to Honda support slow
On calling honda.co.uk the AI policeman call handler was frustrating, preventing access to a customer support agent by asking delaying questions, and not recognising the answers (like saying, 'Car' - what could be simpler than that?) and 'not quite understanding', and asking again and again. Followed by a delay in me being transferred to an agent.
I don't want to talk to a machine when a person would do a much better job.
1. Why frustrate the customer by delaying access to customer service? when all that is needed is a direct connection?
2. Can't associate the new Honda car I recently bought with my Honda account. There seems no facility to do that - so I have to enter the VIN no. manually each time.
You need to make this easy to do - there is no option that I could find - apart from, 'We don’t seem to have any cars associated with your account. If you think this is incorrect, please contact our customer service team.' (!) No, I can't waste any more time...
The website seems to be designed for sales, and is clunky and not easy to use. For example, clicking on 'Home' when you are in Used Cars, takes you back to the start of Used Cars, not the whole website.
As a Honda driver for 25years I am disappointed.
Honda customer service is the worst!
My Honda Civic with less than 41,000 miles has blown a Turbo. It appears that Honda had failed to keep their records up to date on who owed the car so did not send me a recall that would have meant the wet belt was changed due to missing teeth on parts of the system. The consequence of this is the wet belt has degraded resulting small parts of rubber causing the Turbo to blow.
Honda keep spouting on about how they value their cars and customer service but are refusing to cover the cost to replace the Turbo when the car goes in for the recall. The care has already been off the road for 3 weeks and does not go into Honda for another 2 due to their ridiculous waiting list for an appointment! The car will then be off the road for another week after the recall due to waiting for my mechanic to fit the Turbo. Also i will suffer additional costs gettimg the car recovered from my home and taken to the dealership and back just in case they blame me for something and charge me for the recall too.
DONT BUY HONDA BECAUSE THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU ONCE YOU HAVE BOUGHT THE CAR!!
Motorcycle not delivered or refunded
Ordered a new 2026 Honda CBR500R from Honda with delivery agreed for 6 June. The bike was not delivered, and I was later informed there was a recall requiring workshop work before handover.
I requested further details and a written timeline but received no response. I have since asked to cancel the order and receive a refund, particularly as my part exchange motorcycle has already been sold by the dealership.
The staff I spoke to on the phone were polite and sympathetic, and they did offer alternative motorcycles from stock, but communication from management has been very poor and I am still waiting for confirmation regarding the refund.
This was the first brand new motorcycle I have ever purchased, so the whole experience has been very disappointing.
It is a shame, as the dealership had very good reviews on other sites and that was one of the reasons I chose to buy from them in the first place.

Corporate bullying to make you go to a dealership
First of all . I want to say that having owned a Honda HR-V for 2 years, the car has been fantastic and given me no problems. The issue I have is related to the MyHonda App and the digital servicing log.
I had my first service a year ago at a local garage, who uses genuine Honda parts, as required for the warranty. The service was logged on the Honda site, and hey presto, appeared in my Digital service record. So far, so good.
The garage previously carried out services on all 3 of my Mazda CX-5s without any doubt or questioning from Mazda UK
The garage had to reregister his subscription to allow the updating of service records. Since then, the details of the service were provided to Honda UK. This was not enough for Honda UK as I was required to return to the garage to have photos taken from the windscreen and VIN plate, in accordance with Honda UK’s instructions.
The photos and service record were again uploaded to Honda, but still did not show on my record. I contacted the garage to learn that all wishes of Honda UK had been complied with.
I complained to Honda UK, via their website. I was asked to send an uploaded copy of the service and a copy of the VC5. This was to prove ownership of the vehicle.
On the subject of the V5 and the VIN; I had to submit the VIN on the My Honda app to allow my vehicle to be registered. Honda UK can see that there is no change of ownership. Furthermore, as a proscribed user, Honda UK could easily find this information from DVLA or HPI. Instead, I have the inference that I have done something underhand and require to prove to Honda that I own this car.
This will not be an issue in the future. I will never buy another Honda. Honda UK has tried to bully me and my chosen garage to take an easier option and travel to a Honda dealership. I am sure that Honda UK must adhere to Motor Vehicle Block Exemption Order, which gives consumer protection.
I test drove a vehicle at Henrys, Glasgow with a view to purchase .The test drive predates this correspondence with Honda UK and has changed my mind. I have contacted Henrys, Glasgow to advise of the sale falling through.
As I said at the outset, this his no reflection of the dealership who sold the vehicle, Henry's Glasgow, who were professional and forthright.
Also, the vehicle itself is excellent.
If you buy a Honda, and are willing to pay the exorbitant dealership servicing rates, then there is no problem. If you use an independent, then they will obstruct you at every turn.

Bought a car from Barnett’s Honda in Dundee. Salesman was a liar. Agreed a deal then changed it when it was too late to source a car elsewhere. Sales manager is a coward who will only engage via email. Dishonest and everything that is wrong with the modern motor trade. Complained to Honda UK who were absolutely toothless in the matter and happy for Eastern Western Motor Group to run their brand name into the ground with their sharp practices. Avoid at all costs.
Recent Decline in Honda Customer Service
I have been using Honda Ruislip for almost 30 years, Because of the quality of customer service and reliability of Hondas, I have ensured that all my family members and most of my friends buy Honda.
In the last 12 months, I have noticed a terrible decline in the nature of their service. When you call, they either don't pick up or return your call
#My wife and I have been extremely disappointed in this decline :(
Bought a Honda civic type r
Bought a new Honda civic type r. Battery failed straight away could not use the car this is due to the car being made in 2023. The car has sat stationary for well over 2 years I bought the car in February 2026 the paintwork is contaminated rust on the car didn’t even smell new I bought a 3 year old car payed £53000 and Honda are happy for me to drive a death trap I have to plead for them to change the oil and filter(will not change spark plugs as it’s too expensive)what an effort for them to do this. Hondas response was this should not be needed this is a good will gesture. My tyres should be changed for safety they will not do this the whole experience has been a massive stressful experience Honda do not care about their customers they will take your money take no responsibility to how they treat you. Buyer be aware Honda has lost their integrity
Honda has sadly lost its integrity.
Honda has sadly lost its integrity.
I used to ride Hondas exclusively and they were faultless. So, when I bought another bike after a few years away, I bought a Honda again.
How things have changed.
The finish, in places, is poor. What is worse, however, is how Honda is dealing with a warranty claim. They are being simply dishonest.
I will now need to get the supplying dealer to remedy the problem at their expense.
Having now drilled down on Honda after-sales issues, it seems that dishonesty and customer-blaming is stock in trade for them. How the mighty have fallen.
I am upgrading later this year and will probably not buy a Honda again.
Honda need to do better .
We purchased a new CR-V from Honda, and we have never had such a stressfull car purchase. The dealership are not the problem, that lies soley with Honda. Honda would send paperwork for signing electronically, then after signing send the same paperwork again 2 days later. There were delays in sending the car to the delaership, then the final straw was today after driving for 2 hours to pick up the new vehicle, we left without it, as Honda's computer system was playing up and the delaers were unable to hand it over. Everything seems to be done by Honda now, and they have made a complete mess of things. Our number plates were transferred, our Insurance transferred, and the car was sitting there ready to go, but no, we could not get the car because Honda have a faulty computer system. we left the dealership and returned later in the day, hoping it would have been sorted out, but no joy. Meanwhile the salesman had Honda asking why the vehicle handover had not been completed. The delaership have given us a loan car and will get out new vehicle delivered out to us once Honda sort out their problems, but this is just NOT good enough
having been loyal customer of honda for…
having been loyal customer of honda for over 15 years had 3 2nd hand civics 3civics from new & hr-v from new getting warnings up 9 mths after delivery had them 8 *over last 11 mths due to the disgusting way that i have been treated by the h/o C/s voiding the vehicle warranty after escalating the issue to the honda uk VP due to the lines that Brayley honda Ewell dealership service dept used .
i am trading the car in and getting another make.
i will never use or trust honda or brayley honda again
has been escalated to Honda CEO Japan as yet had no response
Shocking aftercare
Shocking aftercare, happy to take your money for service plans and not provide the services paid for, passed backwards and forwards between departments eventually raised to escalation team, who gave lip service acknowledging poor service but doing nothing to rectify,
