Really good experience using howdens and they were professional throughout. The end product was excellent and the help from Rosie was excellent. Any issues got resolved.

Good friendly staff , easy order & always a helping hand

So easy to order online in the comfort of my home weeks in advance.
I can keep on top of the materials required for every job I have booked into my diary.
Stock levels are always really good and the staff at my local branches really helpful and knowledgeable.
All of this helps to keep my small business running smoothly.

We purchased our kitchen back in Jan 23 at the Middlesbrough branch and received excellent service from our designer Mary. Nothing was a hassle even when we made changes to the plans. She was very attentive and knowledgeable.
Would recommend this company every time.

We popped in to Howdens in Middlesbrough, Rosie came out and measured the area’s and went away after discussing what sort of kitchen we would like, we then popped back to see Rosie to discuss the kitchen-plan, and we then picked the colours for the kitchen, work top and flooring, then Rosie gave us a number of a fabulous joiner to fit the kitchen, he came out and gave us a quote, we then booked this guy. Really happy from start to finish, will definitely recommend Rosie at Howdens and the Joiner.

Every one is helping

We wanted a new kitchen and our joiner (Ian Rodgers) advised us to go to Howden's Middlesbrough and ask to speak to one of their designers Mary Fletcher.
She was professional and friendly and showed us a wide range of styles, worktops and fittings. Armed with the necessary guides we arranged for a home visit.
We were really impressed with the way in which Mary listened to our requirements, took all the necessary measurements and photographs and left us to go away and translate our requirements in to a design.
A few days later we had a final design which we loved and two alternative styles to choose from.
We decided on Elmwood porcelain with granite sink and integrated appliance units plus a walk-in larder unit..
A few weeks later Howdens delivered everything and a week later the kitchen was complete.
Delighted with the quality of the units and worktops and can't speak highly enough of all the advice and help we received from Mary, a top kitchen designer and so patient and understanding with us.

Poor planning from the start

I wish I could give zero stars, I bought a kitchen with appliances from them about 18months ago, in that time my dishwasher has broken down 4 times, every single time with the same problem, they’ve just been to fix it for the 5th time and told me that the they now have to get extra parts because it’s been repaired so often that another part has been damaged , I’ve been without a work dishwasher for a total of 3 months now, I’m disabled and rely on my dishwasher probably more than most , I get fobbed off constantly with excuses about having to wait for their quality team to make a decision, there is no quality as far as I’m concerned, they have me over a barrel because I can’t afford to just go out and replace it myself, I will never buy another product from this company, and I urge anyone reading this to read online reviews about their lamona brand dishwashers, all I can say is avoid at all costs

The staff Kev Kelly Dave and the delivery company guys just helpful friendly and always with a smile etc oh yes products not bad!!!

I was in my account store today looking for vinyl flooring. The member of staff could not have been more helpful. I know flooring and buying, that member of staff took time out not only to find the floor I wanted but directed me to another branch with immediate stock. Great service.

Delivered on time helpfull driver

After having an howdens account for several years and using them daily I'm not impressed with new ways of advertising offers etc sadly I had 1 of my customers tell me the price of materials because she'd got her hands on the rooster because it was available on trade counter, there's no point me having a trade account when things are so easy for general public to obtain offers so easy.The other disappointing thing this year is we haven't got any voucher books this year which as an account holder I've always benefitted from. One thing I've noticed over the last few weeks is there seems to be less people in daily when I call to pick up my materials for jobs, come on howdens value your loyal customer rather than trying to make extra money from the general public 😥😥

Want to say a big thank you to Mary Fletcher at Howdens Middlesbrough. From the initial design to the completion of the kitchen she was so helpful, professional and approachable. Her design ideas really helped us achieve our perfect kitchen. We had some issues during this process but they were resolved efficiently and to our satisfaction (not all product problems but Mary still helped resolve them) Great quality kitchen and all the staff at the depot are so helpful and friendly. Loved the follow up from Mary not many companies do this. Would definitely recommend both Mary and Howdens😊
