We were looking to replace our kitchen and we were recommened to Howdens Stockport by our builder and told to speak to Mel [Woods]. We arranged a home visit so Mel could see our house, measure up discuss how we wanted our kitchen. What we really appreciated was that Mel gave us her honest opinion about things but then suggested what we could do to make it better. Our new kitchen looks exactly like the pictures Mel showed to us. We are very happy and would tell anybody that is looking for a new Kitchen contact Mel at Howdens in Stockport. Fantastic quality units delivered on time and expert advise!

My experience with the Stockport howdens has been fantastic, second to none. Every single time I have been in what ever the job big or small every single member of staff has been ,polite,helpful, professional, and catered to my needs, no matter how big or small the job they have been extremely helpful every step of the way,even if by the very rare occasion they dont have what i need in stock depending on time frames they arrange for it to be picked up from another store or order it in , we have build a great professional working relationship, very happy with the service. I will continue to use this branch, makes my job so much easier and pleasant to do. 5* service, great work guys.

Every thing I needed in stock at a good price

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Howdens, especially working with Mel, our kitchen designer. She has created a truly life-changing kitchen and lounge space for us — it’s completely transformed how we live at home.

The design is not only beautiful but also practical, and it’s brought our whole family together in one stunning, welcoming space that we genuinely love spending time in every day.

On top of that, the customer care and aftercare from Howdens have been outstanding from start to finish. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and the whole process felt smooth and well-supported.

We would highly recommend Mel and the team at Howdens to anyone looking to create their dream space!

All staff were really helpful throughout my kitchen being fitted. I dealt with mainly Sharon, and she needs some recognition. She went above and beyond to help me, and nothing was too much trouble. She was knowledgeable and so friendly. I definately would use howdens stockport again just for the customer service I received.

From the outset Mel from Howdens was very helpful and also very pleasant. She had useful ideas for maximising the storage space in our new kitchen. While she did have some ideas and suggestions of her own she did not impose these on us and the final result after various tweaks very much meets our needs. Ours is a modest sized kitchen but it both feels bigger than it did and we have far more storage space than we did thanks largely to Mel. Our kitchen fitter works very well with Howdens and project managed the delivery of the kitchen and it was no trouble for the delivery driver to come several times until everything was correct. The quality of Howdens' products are very good and we would recommend them to anyone considering having a new kitchen. Many thanks to Mel and all her team.

Mel came out to our house to measure our kitchen & helped us so so much! It was unbelievable all of the staff were wonderful but Mel was definitely the best!

Adam was great at the Stockport branch. Needed to amend my order after I'd already installed the legs on two units and he made the process very easy. Will definitely be going back for more work.

My second time using Howdens Stockport as quality is great. Mel is an excellent kitchen designer and nothing is too much trouble - even when items needed to be returned or exchanged. Would have no hesitation recommending the team in Stockport and great new premises too!

Just had 5 star service from all the team at Howdens Hillgate, Stockport. At every point in the process, we were met with great product knowledge, patience and a really friendly approach. They took time to explore multiple options and quotes with us, while offering us refreshments and a few jokes along the way! The way they all helped each other too while trying to search for products and resolve what was a confusing dilemma for us was much appreciated. Fantastic customer service from the whole team, thank you!

Having used Howdens since the early days of the opening of the Hillgate branch I was pleased to reopen my account there. The icing on the cake was the move to new premises at the old Magnet branch across the road, without the dreaded parking eye bandits in charge of parking!🤷‍♂️

We felt very fortunate to be in the hands of Christopher, our Kitchen Designer at Howdens in Reddish, Stockport, who provided us with excellent advice on how to transform our kitchen into a functional working design that not only looks amazing but meets all our requirements. Chris went above and beyond to help us in every way and made the whole process a seamless stress free project. We are extremely satisfied with the quality of our fitted kitchen which certainly resembles showroom standards. We were given excellent suggestions and advice on how best to utilize our kitchen space, within our budget. He was happy to talk us through any questions we asked and we would have no hesitation in recommending Chris to our friends and family.

We’re do I begin , over 24 months ago we purchased are dream kitchen from howdens Stockport the staff were extremely helpful and we chose the Elmbridge which is one of howdens premium , this cost around 14 k with the additional cost of fitting 3k we used a fitting service that was recommended from howdens , this was all done and me and my wife were very happy , however after around 4/6 weeks I started to notice a few faults from delaminating of kickboards and scratches etc I contacted the supplier the manager came out and agreed with me that this shouldn’t happen and he will look into it. He the requested that a quality inspector from howdens come and look ,which they did whilst doing this the inspector made a number of comments some agreeing with me ,a report was done which basically said that this was wear and tear and was my fault , I questioned this a number of times , a second report was carried out by howdens and again whilst at the house they agreed with my self , but a report was done again and this put the blame on my self and fitters , they even suggested I shouldn’t of bought a hand painted kitchen , this in my eyes should of been mentioned before , I gained legal advice and a litter was drafted and sent to managing director who replied and said this would be looked into .
During this time I made contact with the citizens advice bureau who’s suggested I get an independent review on the kitchen I spoke with howdens who agreed with this , the review was done and report made which outlined the issues , the report basically said the kitchen wasn’t fit for purpose . The report was sent to howdens and there reply was the report didn’t count as it was from a competitor I explained that the company i used doesn’t sell only to trade so this can’t be true , due to this I had a second review done and report was sent again out lining the issues ,both reports cost myself , howdens offered me £500 to help rectify the issues , I found this insulting and have no other option than to start legal proceeding , AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID howdens ,
