Ears pierced today by Becky, it’s only taken me 30+ years to get them done, so glad I did amazing and professional team at Reading. Will definitely be returning. Thank you ladies.

Went in looking for gift for my mum's birthday I was acknowled straight away and asked what I was looking for the amazing lady becky was helping me by recommending products and asking about what my mum wears she was wonderful to talk to and made my shopping so easy, I will definitely be back to this store and loved layout this store so welcoming and all staff very friendly and helpful will be back soon

Dropped in to purchase a bridal set (engagement and wedding ring) we had seen on line. Beccy couldn’t have been more helpful. Lucky for us the set we wanted was in stock in the right size so didn’t have to place an order, if we had, Beccy made us feel more than confident she could get it delivered on time. Couldn’t have been easier, thanks Beccy

District manager was amazing! Helpful from start to finish. The rest of the team were fantastic as well. 100% would recommend going for all jewellery needs!

Great service, i didnt find the ring i wanted, but i instead got a beautiful watch with 2 year warranty for a great price.

Really awful experience. Understaffed. I waited ages for the lady to serve one customer. Another member of staff came out and I asked if she could give me earring I had chosen so I could pay. She said she would come back as she had to help a colleague with a link first. And then disappeared. We left and came back after 10 minutes. Still only the first staff member still serving the same customer . She saw us and didn't have the decency to apologize or say anything. Really wierd

Would not shop at reading store..very poor customer service..

Sent in my wife's wedding ring for a re-plate - a pretty basic service for a jeweller. When I got the ring back, the custom engraving and original hallmark on the inside had been completely removed. The ring was sent back to the 'technician' to be re-engraved and hallmarked as a priority. I've now been told it will be at least a month for the work to be done.

The Store Manager was completely unhelpful; they couldn't tell me why it's going to take so long, and when I asked them to go back and ask for more details they refused. They were however keen to tell me that they will waive the cost as a gesture of goodwill, despite the fact the repair is being done for free anyway as they caused the damage. They were also keen to point out that a 'non-priority' job would take far longer than a month, seemingly oblivious to the fact that is an abysmal level of service in itself.

Despite what their marketing will tell you, H Samuel is not a jeweller - they sell jewellery, but clearly don't actually have any of the technical ability needed to maintain or repair it.

Worst online experience. Ordered something they haven't delivered yet eventhough they promised a delivery date. They only looked at the order when I asked them to do so. Customer service is rubbish, they don't even seem to bother there is a delay and they don't even promise any date. They say we are waiting for a response from a supplier. Absolutely do not rely on this company they are not even bothered about serving their customers.

We recently visited H. Samuels in the Oracle to get a wedding ring for my husband, which we had left to last minute, plus we needed a large size which made it more difficult.
The lady that served us was so helpful and went above and beyond to sort it for us very quickly. We then returned the following week, to have the ring stretched by the Manager who was brilliant, and saved the day before us having to use a Haribo ring on the day.

H. Samuels your staff at Reading are a credit to you, and I would recommend anyone visiting this jewellers before any other if your looking for a 1st class service. Thank you!

Diana from the oracle store was very helpful with me when paying for my chain and ear stud she showed me how to use clear pay and was very patient with me she deserves to be recognised for this for going above and beyond

Excellent service

This doesn't even deserve 1 star. I went into the Reading branch at 4.30pm today and the assistant was behind the counter and clearly could not be bothered to serve me. I stood for few minutes and had to ask for help. She was reluctant. I asked about a pair of hoop earrings in the sale I had seen online to have a look and she was obstructive by saying the gold earrings would not be reduced that much. I then had to show her on my phone and she shrugged dismissively saying they are probably not in-store and signposted me online. She didn't even explore any similar products to have a look and was argumentative when I asked. She clearly had no knowledge of the products by saying this without even looking and was quite insistent in being put out to help. I had gone to the store to see the products to get a better idea than what I could see online. I had been online and I was better off being treated with more respect by the chatbot! You ought to replace her with a virtual assistant as she is costing you customers and the chatbot treats customers equally with dignity and respect. She needs intensive training on customer service, manners and product knowledge.
Absolutely disgusting service so I walked out and you have lost a customer and a sale.
I am going to escalate this to Head Office.

Very disappointed. My wife paid £285 for a repair in 2020 to a ring which involved re sealing the diamond, the ring had been purchased from Samuel's a number of years before. Within a couple of weeks of the repair the diamond came loose and with a fault admission from Samuel's they agreed to put it right.

The ring came back again and was ok until early last week when the diamond again came out this time the diamond was lost.

We communicated with Samuel's at their store in Reading to be told the work was not guaranteed and nothing could be done unless we repaid.

My argument is why do they charge so much for a clearly sub standard repair.

I'm not returning to Samuel's to dispute this either will I ever make a purchase with them again.

Carried out a beautiful repair to our eternity ring reasonably priced.
