I recently completed the Advanced Diploma in Business Administration from John Academy, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience. This company found my company online and continually send spam to our business email address. We asked them to quit 3 times but they don't listen.
So, today, we have contacted the Information Commissioner Office to set a complaint in motion. The owner assured me that I would be removed from their mailing list, but he lied.

Great for enhancing your carer
I have taken a few courses and are currently doing the English courses. There are courses out there, that do the same thing and are lot more expensive.
John academy gives me the opportunity to do these courses and reduced price.
Especially good if people want to enhance there carer but can't afford.
I can work at my own pace and time.
And at the end acheive a certificate.

Terrible Quality and not convinced with accuracy of details
I have just completed the UK Tax Return Course. I found it to be very unprofessional. Audio was poor and muffled. Lady doing the course made mistakes as she went. For a training video that people have paid for this should have been corrected until it was 100% accurate. Several of the videos cut off mid sentence. One video finished at 9% of the return complete and next video started at 90%. What happened in between? Also not sure of how current the information is as the pictures showed old pound coin images and the return was for the 2014-2015 tax year. A decade out of date. I did like the fact I got to see the form but that was the only benefit for hence the 2 stars and not 1 but even at that I'd image the form has changed within 10 years so the whole training session is probably a complete waste of time and money...

Shocking Customer Service
Trying to get through to their commercial team is a nightmare as they're so unresponsive.
I requested a refund due to the untrustworthy service on 29/07, which they said would be 3 working days - I still have no refund despite contacting on 3 more occasions after this.

I recommend this course to beginner confectioners, in my humble opinion it needs improvement. There could be pdf downloadable files that I can learn with it, and there could be even more videos to help you bake a data cake. There are a few videos in it, but you can't open them because you don't have all of them, they need to be fixed. For example. Sugar mentors or someone I can turn to when I have a problem. Because it has a recipe, but I can't practice reading it, it might be more useful, tips on what I'm going to mess up, but it's good to have the basics for everything, eggs, flour, milk... I can replace the sugar with brown sugar. they explained the delivery of the cake very carefully so that there would be no problems with the cake, they wrote the budget well, they said that I could study to be a pastry chef, and after checking, I couldn't find a job with him. In other courses I get the certificate for free, but here you have to pay. And there is a link when you buy a certificate and I had to buy it again because after payment it indicated that I can claim the certificate for which I paid at the beginning, so I sent an e-mail that I have already paid twice and I want my money back. This is an ongoing case.
There are quite easy questions.

Disappointing, not much info
The course Seemed to be written by AI, I may be wrong but it was very very repetitive and boring. It also didn’t teach me what I thought it would, I’m a semi permanent make up (eyebrow tattoo) student and took this course thinking it would teach me about how to sanitise
Equipment, my room and what is expected, it basically taught be nothing except that employers need to refer to COSHH and the Health and safety act. And a little bit about PPE. Shame as I was constantly waiting for in formation that never came. Disappointing!
