Extremely disappointing experience.

I ordered a Circular Chrome 14-litre kitchen bin from Kitchen Fittings Direct on 23 May 2026 and paid £37.95, including £10 delivery. The order confirmation stated that the item would be dispatched within one working day and that standard delivery would take 2–3 working days.

When the item failed to arrive, I contacted customer service on 29 May to ask for an update. I was then informed on 2 June that the original parcel had apparently been damaged in transit and returned before reaching me. While I appreciate being told what had happened, this information was only provided after I chased the order myself.

I was advised that a replacement had been processed, but despite waiting further, the replacement also failed to arrive. By 5 June I still had not received the product I had paid for and had to request cancellation and a refund.

The most frustrating part of this experience was paying for delivery, waiting well beyond the advertised delivery timeframe, having to chase the company for updates, and still ending up without the item. Problems can occur during shipping, but customers should not have to repeatedly follow up to find out what is happening with their order.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company and would not order from them again.

The item is fine, although the description on the website isn't very clear. Ordered a set of internal drawers for a 1000mm unit, having read and checked all the info on the site, and they arrived but didn't fit my 1000mm unit. It also arrived in a very bashed up box, but the drawers were not damaged. Emailed about it, they sent some nonsense about needing 180 degree hinges, which are chunkier than what I've got so would only make the problem worse, and then said drawers need to be installed above hinges to fit. If it said that ANYWHERE in the information online I would have ordered a different size.
Arranged return at £18 of my own money, cheapest I could get in timeframe. Had to reordered a smaller size which never got delivered and I had to chase. Eventually they discovered it had been returned to sender due to damage. Then weeks later I received the next one they sent out. Box also a bit damaged, but item OK.

Order was dispatched and delivered within 24hrs as usual. I'm always impressed with with the speed of service. There was initially an issue with payment but I believe that was on my bank's end and was promptly addressed by sales rep

Found the exact kind of kitchen tap I was looking for on the website. It was less expensive than similar online. Ordering and paying was simple and it was delivered the next day. No muss, no fuss.

From start phone call ordering to finish line delivery everything was completed very efficiently and quickly.
