Having used a few different local solicitors over the years for conveyancing I can say we've so far had the best experience with Kitson Boyce. Rebecca Kift and Laura Potter have been really quick to reply over email and have consistently given clear explanations when I've asked clarifying questions. The fees charged are in-line with other local firms (not the cheapest but reasonable and fair given the service provided) and we value the no-sale no fee offer although we understand this is exclusive with Bradleys. Lastly, it's been brilliant that we could complete all paperwork remotely, the onboarding experience was smooth and quick.

When I found out that I would have to have a solicitor involved with my employment decision, I thought OMG. With lots of trepidation, but I attended my first meeting on Microsoft Teams with Rory, he was extremely professional and helpful. I made several phone calls to Gemma who was really lovely towards me and put me so at ease with my case explaining everything from start to finish thank you so much for all you do. I also needed to speak to Jayme who dealt with an issue I had. I have never been treated in such a lovely manner which all the staff have at Kitsons. absolutely horrendous. So unbelievably rude, refused to give an update and hung up the phone. DO NOT USE

This solicitor acts for the vendor of the apartment that I am purchasing. Jenna Hamilton-Pursglove of the Exeter office is dealing the sale of the apartment. They do not reply to my solicitor. The enquiries have been outstanding for 3 months. The only reply we get is "we will reply when able". No communication about the delay. They don't respond to the estate agent. The seller does not seem to be aware of why they are not replying. Delaying the property sale for all. I need to give my 2 months notice of my rental apartment, but I have no confidence I am not going to be homeless.

Slow and incompetent. Took years to complete my divorce. Made mistakes. Only thing they were good at was sending the bill !
