Very straighforward, and the lens (very happy with Condition rating) was dispatched the same day.
Only gripe was your courier DPD who said they'd deliver the following day in a particular 1 hr slot. I was there, and they weren't. I was sent a message to say that they couldn't deliver because the pin-holder was not there....wrong ! They did deliver in the notified slot the next working day.

I recently sold LCE a DSLR body and sent a lens for appraisal. The whole process was great, good communication and hassle free postage arrangements using DPD pickup from my local Post Office. The Derby branch handled my case and were in touch by phone on the morning they received my items. They immediately agreed on the quoted price for the camera body, no quibble. Whilst I’m certain I could have achieved a slightly higher price selling privately, the quote from LCE was comparable to other companies. I believe it was reasonable and removed the risk of selling on an e-auction site etc.

They also took a look at the lens and as they had warned me (due to age and lack of service providers) they were unwilling to sell it on. Therefore they made arrangements to return this to me. Again the communication was first rate and I received an hour time slot from DPD on the day requested. The lens was returned well packed and in the condition it was sent.

I received payment into my account within two working days and am highly satisfied with the service. I understand the reasons behind not purchasing my lens, which was only sent following consultation with LCE and without any promises or expectations.

Great service, highly recommend to anyone looking to sell their gear. Cannot comment on purchasing from LCE, but will certainly be looking to use them again in the future.

The 5 star rated camera got a lot of scrathes and faded one. Its very sad and poor service by derby LCE branch.

I wanted a particular lens from the Derby store but could not accept next day deliver due to work commitments. I ordered the lens online and they agreed to hold shipment until an agreed date. Lens arrived on the agreed date and the mint condition of the lens was exactly as described. Very happy.
