Omg worse experience ever bought my hats online next day they send email they declined for whatever purposes. When called than and spoke with manager she start to ask my questions almost like in policy department just to open my account and make an order again. Just ridiculous

Not invested in customer satisfaction
Lids hides their lack of service to customers by hiding behind their posting of a "delayed shipping" disclaimer indicating that they could care less about their customers. Package is more than 3 weeks late at this point and yes, Lids, YOU collected the shipping fee from me the customer, so this one is on YOU. Online chat is useless, customer service phone line has absolutely none but the most minimal information and is not empowered to provide any solutions.
Clearly the company is struggling and not solid, but I have to ask - does anyone in decision making there ever even consider providing some type of amends for the errors on the part of Lids ? A credit, a free shipping offer, a discount on another purchase - ANY form of recourse to incentivize customers to make second attempt ?
Based on this, cheap as I am, I will gladly pay more to another provider rather than purchase again from LIDS>

I purchased Detroit Pistons jacket back in December 17th they told me that due to coronavirus that I will not get my package until January. Now they're saying that I won't get my package until February.......so I will NOT buy anything from Libs..com again and I will report them to the State Attorney General!!!!

Ordered a Bayern Human Race top that I was supposed to receive on December 9 but delivery was postponed to December 30. Now we are close to the date the delivery got pushed again to January 19. Guess what? I spoke to a customer service representative and he could not even help me. Stay away from Lids.com, place your orders elsewhere. Totally disappointed...

Lids outsources support. Don't blame those guys on the other end of the phone if you're clever and persistent enough to even find it because obviously LIDS DOESN'T WANT YOU TO FIND IT or it would be listed next to all their bs claims of 100% satisfaction and blaming covid for all their awful and classless policies. I will NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN.
Hope you save time and frustration by NOT BUYING FROM LIDS ONLINE. My local shop still has ZERO championship gear at Christmas months after the trophy is decided. This company is run by money grabbers. Stay away.

Simply the worst. Slow processing and shipping times (16 days to be exact) Then if you want to return anything an extra $15 is charged. The stores are no longer linked to the website. All downhill since fanatics took over. I’ll never order from here again.
Poor updates an customer service
Pretty disappointing. I was not informed when my stuff was being delivered they did not update it at all. It said it had not been delivered yet but was actually delivered to the wrong building 2 days ago and if I had been informed it was being delivered I could have went an tried to track it down. So now after waiting 2 weeks for one item I have to wait 2 more days to be refunded because they have to wait til the shipping date before they can do anything, even tho fed ex has already confirmed that it was delivered!! I dont think I should have to wait any longer! Just disappointed I get it takes a little longer with everything that's going on but to not be informed an there site to keep saying not shipped when it was an now I have to wait even longer is ridiculous

Pure garbage. Paid $4.99 for shipping a cap and $9.99 to return the cap cause they sent me wrong size. How does it cost 9.99 to ship a cap? USPS below 1 pound is cheap, more like $3.25. That was a rip off and looks like coronovairus made them broke or goi g bankrupt ha...

I ordered two hats for $41.98 plus $7.99 shipping, a total of $49.97. When I received the hats in two separate boxes, they were a size too small for my head. I took a trip to a Lids location to make an exchange and they claimed I could not do it in store and had to ship the hats back.
I followed the prompts on Lids.com to initiate a return. I found out that return shipping would cost $9.99. That’s an absurd amount for a package that weighs well under a pound. They populated two return labels, one for each hat. I only used one label and put both hats in one box with the other label because I thought they might charge me twice. To get the right size, I’d have to make a new order and pay $7.99 shipping again. That’s $25.97 in shipping for a simple exchange for size. That’s a lot of money to ship two hats that weigh next to nothing.
But it gets better... they did charge me $9.99 twice for shipping despite me sending the two hats in one box. Out of the $49.97 I paid initially, I received $18.03 refunded to me. So two hats that did not fit which I simply wanted to exchange cost me $31.94 only to end up empty handed.
I recommend you do everything you can to avoid shopping online with this company. They are clearly thieves and can’t be trusted to provide quality service. I’ve never seen anything like this before. Their customer service never responded to my message about this theft. I will never do business with this company ever again.
The Worst Customer Service
By far the worst online customer representative I have dealt with.
Most of the time, when you try to connect to a sales representative, it automatically hangs up (after having you go through all the bs questions in the beginning).
After about 4 times of trying to reach a representative, I got connected with the most incompetent worker.
None of the workers knows what’s going on and their site will randomly cancel your orders for no reason stated. Good luck trying to find out why since the number they provide you doesn’t do anything.

I have purchased things in the past from Lids without any issues. This time around however, of the items I ordered only 1 actually fit. I followed the size charting just like every other time however it clearly was not accurate. The frustrating part is I had to pay almost $15 to have it shipped to me and then I have to pay an additional $14 to return it. I tried multiple dates and times to live chat with customer service to no avail as I wanted to inquire about an exchange. Just ended up sending the items back, seeking a refund. Based on their current return policy, I doubt I'll order from Lids again.

I bought a hat online for my son for Christmas... When he opened it on Christmas morning, there was no packing slip or receipt in the box and the hat was too big.... We were told we couldn't even exchange it for the same hat at the lids store...then we we called customer service, I was on hold for 45 minutes the person picked up and hung right up on me... Then I called back, was on hold another 40 minutes only to be told I'd have to return the hat, wait up to two weeks for a refund, then repurchase!! The girl I spoke to had a serious attitude problem and when I asked for her supervisor SHE STRAIGHT HUNG UP ON ME!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I bought the hat on sale, so now I'll have to pay $15 more FOR THE SAME DAMN HAT!! QUITE A SCAMMING RACKET YOU HAVE GOING THERE LIDS!! Why would anyone even order online then?? If there was a way to give zero stars I would do it! I had the worst customer service that I’ve ever experienced today at their location in Town Center Mall in Kennesaw, Georgia. The two men working were rude and dismissive. I wanted to exchange an item for a different size ( same exact item) and I had the receipt. They wanted to charge me $46 because the person who rang up the initial sale gave a discount on the item and shouldn’t have. When I explained nicely that this was a gift and that made no sense the man told me to “ calm down”. I am a teacher... there is nothing not calm about me! 😊 I will never shop there again and will tell everyone I know about our experience. Now writing to their corporate office.

I ordered 6 hats from these people. the one hat got to me in 4 days the others will take 2 weeks to get them. But they sure as hell cashed the credit card payment I made the same day I ordered though. I even tried talking to a rep on their site and they didn't try to do a damn thing for me AT ALL. Could have even sent me to their Scottsdale store to probably pick up hats faster but they didn't try to do or say a damn thing to help resolve the issue of a paying client. This sure as hell wont happen again..... I advice everyone to not order anything from them till they get it together for their clients.

0 star if I could, so i ordered LTN98784391 (this is the tracking number) and product #3519479 on Nov 1st and was shipped on November 4th , I paid Visa Gift card and the amount was around 99$ and thrown away the card after tht. I didn’t get the item coz everybody knows how pathetic their courier delivery company is. Then we called them and they told us we will refund you and then we asked them to mail us the payment by cheque and they AGREED . we waited for like mire than two weeks , thn called them back and shockingly they told us we didn’t mail you a cheque , we refunded u the payment through the mode of payment u made, and in response i was angry and told them i cannot get tht money and tgen they created a ticket# 2035839 and promised me you will get a money through gift certificate, told me to wait fr two days and lids will call u, i waited and i hade to call them back by reminding them u owe me money and now they are saying we cannot giv u refund as it’s already processes with visa gift card u paid the item for. I was so angry the way they’ve been playing with me and now luckily i have their last two call recording in which they made false promises to me, i’m definitely going to consumer court against them coz they harraased their customer and didn’t provide the refund , very pathetic company
