We could not be more pleased with the sofas and service (thanks Arbinder!) that we received from Living It Up! We were looking for sofas for over a year for our living room and a new bar space we were adding to our house, and we just never really found anything that we loved from a company with convincing enough reviews. I saw Living It Up on Facebook but was a bit dubious about a sofa company without a proper showroom - how wrong I was!!!!

I was looking for a very particular plum color (we ended up going with Juniper Berry on the Helena sofas) and got swatches, but (even with great reviews) just didn’t feel great about ordering sofas we hadn’t sat on. Furthermore, we were looking for a loveseat, and the Helena only came in armchair and then much larger. When we emailed, Arbinder said that they did bespoke sizing (!!) and they had some ex-models in their warehouse in Leicester we could visit - not the Helena model that we wanted, but we still thought it was worth the trip to see and feel the quality of their products. We were incredibly impressed!! Of the probably 10 or so sofas they had, all except one would have suited us comfort-wise (one was very firm). When visiting, Arbinder was really gracious and made us feel welcome to spend however long we wanted checking out the models. We left definitely wanting to order from them, but unsure if we would go with the Helena (which we loved the look of, but didn’t sit on) or the Astoria (which we also liked and did sit on).

Now the shocking part - the very next day, Arbinder calls to tell us that a Helena had just been returned by a customer. She offered to have it delivered to our house for us to try out, and we would keep it until our sofas came (if we moved forward with an order)!! It was absolutely incredible and so over-and-above what we would have expected!! Within days, we had a Helena (wrong color, but I’m not complaining!) in our house. Within 5 minutes of the delivery, we knew we 100% NEEDED this sofa and got our order placed. The sofas are beyond gorgeous and incredibly comfortable - really the perfect sofa. It doesn’t have cushions that need fluffing, the quality feels top-notch, the velvet fabric is lovely, and it’s a wonderful not-too-hard-not-too-soft seat. It just feels made to last.

We received our sofas in a shocking 4-5 weeks. Delivery was incredibly quick and smooth, and they took away the loaner sofa we had.

One notable thing is that our bespoke sofa was between the armchair and 2.5-seater size-wise, and I was shocked to see that the price also fell between those two stock sizes! There was no up-charge just for our piece being a bespoke size - it was simply based on cost of materials, which felt really refreshing. Furthermore, the cost of the sofas themselves seemed on par with anything (of much lower quality) that you would buy from Furniture Village or the like.

While in their warehouse, we also sat on a (shockingly comfortable) sofa bed from their sister company Stay in Bed, and we have every intention of ordering those for our living room.

Overall, I could not be more pleased with our experience. Arbinder was incredibly kind, caring, and responsive throughout. She really seemed to care that we were happy with our purchase. The sofas themselves are wonderful, and delivery was incredibly easy and professional. If you’re searching for sofas, your search is over. Go with Living It Up. You won’t regret it!

I’ve purchased from here twice now and they have THE BEST service and product, start to finish. In fact I’ve never dealt with such a decent company.

Product: the product is second to none. They use heavy duty screws, heavy baseboards, very thick and padded furniture - it’s what you pay for. Theres so many crappy furniture stores now days and even when you pay top price, everything is flimsy and breaks after a while/doesn’t hold together. This stuff is STRONG and STURDY.

Service: they let you know your three hour time slot a few days before and they always answer the phone sooo quickly, so you can call them and change the date to whenever suites you. When they arrive, they take pictures of previous scratches before they come in which goes to show how much detail and care they put. They were very careful and meticulous about bringing the furniture in - didn’t scuff or scratch the walls.

Installation: they installed it very quickly but properly and didn’t rush anything, just naturally efficient and clean.

Rubbish: at the end of the service, they took all the rubbish away and asked me to check if everything is fine.

Cannot recommend this company enough, and I strongly recommend to get their storage bed, the hydraulic lift system is very powerful and doesn’t require much effort to lift for the average feeble/weak person. There is an abundance of space so it’s worth it for the large suitcases you don’t want to free up from communal/general storage.

All in all, love this company!

Absolutely brilliant company! First class customer service and sofa is amazing. Had so many compliments from family and friends. Delivery was on time and they even changed things around so that I would have it ready for Christmas, even though I had missed the last day to order. The delivery guys were 10/10. Put everything together and took away all the waste. I was really worried about ordering a sofa online, but this company was amazing!!!

I originally bought a bed from Living it up 8 years ago.. it was such a wow piece , so much so that when I sold the house the buyers insisted on keeping it. Now Iv just moved into my new home.. and bought 2 more.. and one was custom to my spec. Both beds are absolutely gorgeous and such lux quality- definitely would recommend! Thank you Living it up for another amazing order

Such a shame that the amazing products are let down by poor advice in terms of delivery. I am one week away from being able to take delivery of a product (need carpet laid first) and mow being charged £60 a week storage which was never advised at point of booking - apparently this is stated on website but doubt many people search the website looking for this detail.....

Got 2 king size beds with underbed storage. A bit pricey but worth the money.

Very good quality headrests and great finishing. Helpful staff and accurate delivery lead times. Delivery and assembly staff were also very efficient, professional and polite and left no trace of any mess.

We ordered 2 kingsize beds and a sofa bed. All fantastic quality products and extremely good value for money. Delivery timeline managed perfectly and the guys that delivered and built each item were really nice too!!!

Sadly for me the Arhur Bed isnt for the money that great. My key grumble is we had to move the bed the parts used are really awful.

The plastic fixings for the slats are the worst things Ive ever had to work with (moved a lot of bed frames for a removals firm) they are not designed for owners to move houses to change rooms with the frame.

Needs a rethink.

I saw this furniture design online whilst searching specifically for a Bed in a Box. I live in a 1 bed apartment and accommodating guests isn’t always easy. However this furniture item is perfect as a stylish addition to my lounge and a practical solution to accommodating a guest to stay over.
I ordered the Alison as a two seater size option in the fabric Beaufort which is velvet to touch and in the colour English Goldenrod.
The overall cost of the item was more than I had originally budgeted for when looking for a bed in a box however the quality of this item is worth every penny!
The Delivery was at my convenience and great communication between the customer service team and myself was ensured. The delivery team on the day of the delivery to my address were very friendly and helpful with successfully bringing the large item into my home.
I highly recommend using ‘Living it Up’ as a trusted and professional company and I would definitely buy from them again in the future.

We’re delighted with our sofa, it was well worth the wait.

We spent a long time deliberating when it came to our sofa search. Had we not done, we wouldn’t have stumbled across Living It Up. When we did, we found exactly what we were looking for; at a price that seemed reasonable by comparison to other sites; and with plenty of overwhelmingly positive reviews online—very uncommon amongst furniture retailers. It almost seemed too good to be true, but we ordered the Astoria sofa in Sandstone Beige anyway.

Living It Up didn’t disappoint.

Communication was superb throughout, lead time was as advised when we purchased, and the guys who delivered the sofa went above and beyond. (Huge shout out to them, by the way, they were absolutely fantastic, did a great job, and were just incredibly friendly and helpful—can’t thank them enough.)

The sofa is perfect. Looks incredible, exactly as we had hoped. The material we’ve chosen feels utilitarian and durable yet high quality and with no compromise on appearance. It has made our new flat a home. Thank you.

Thoroughly recommend. After purchasing a bed, I thought I had the wrong item delivered. It turned out I had ordered it wrong. Living it up customer services were happy to replace my incorrect order with the correct one. The best customer service and the delivery guys could not have been more helpful.

My Casper chaise arrived this morning to and I love it!
I was a bit worried about ordering online without seeing a ‘real’ version of it, but I needn’t be-it’s beautiful and the quality is fantastic.

Delivery drivers were really helpful and polite, and bang on time (bright and early 7am) and all customer services people I have spoken to have been great, it took a long time from ordering to now, but that’s understandable and they kept good contact.

This is such an amazing bed. Not only does it look classy, it dresses up my bedroom and stands out. I’d gaze at it all day if I didn’t have to sleep in it. I toyed with getting the regular one but opted for the storage instead and I couldn’t be happier! The under bed storage has enabled me to stash away three full size suitcases, a pull along, bed linen and towels. The space is huge and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and the service from Living it up. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

This is a company that know exactly what they are doing! Everything was as it should be from the ordering right through to the delivery. Very high quality perfect beds and mattresses. The delivery guys put everything together and they were the nicest most polite guys I've every had the pleasure of dealing with. I would HIGHLY recommend everything about this company and their staff.

Absolutely love the bed and very happy with purchase. The only downside was the wait. Website was saying up to 12 weeks and we waited 12 weeks exactly.

Really lovely beds, great quality and beautiful designs. We have bought two storage beds and they’re great! The delivery guys are great and really helpful! Such nice fellas. And sales folk really helpful. Delivered exactly as per their stated dates. Very good and would definitely recommend.
