Extremely poor service from start to finish.

I returned a pair of football boots via Collect+ on 5th January. Tracking clearly shows Lovell received the return on 8th January, yet I have had no refund and no communication whatsoever.

I have chased this multiple times via their customer service email and have been completely ignored. This is unacceptable. Keeping customers money while failing to respond is not how a reputable company should operate.

No communication, no refund, and being forced to constantly chase for something that should be automatic. The entire process has been appalling, and I will not be using Lovell again

I purchased a pair of new football boots just after Christmas for my son as the ones I initially got he he didn't like that was the 29th of December it took till today to receive a refund sent out emails with no response ended up getting PayPal involved. Evri returned the package to Lovell sports with no attempt to deliver I have cameras around my house and get notifications of anyone walking down the drive so they were full of s#&t aswell shocking customer service I have no trust in them and will never use them again my opinion is to avoid at all costs!

Appalling. Ordered black 100% teratec knee guards received Heather Grey.
Made contact and received message back couple days later asking for photos. Sent photos twice now and keep chasing for a response. No one is ever replying.
Wish id read the reviews for this business first before purchasing.

Further edit 03/02/26 Responded on 30/1 after providing proof of return stating to allow 2-3 days for an update. As of today 3/3 still no update or refund. It's coming Close to a month now since the initial problem of incorrect item was brought to your attention and the timeframe and customer experience is unacceptable

on ebay, the sandals I chose based on their appearance in the photos, but the ones that arrived looked different
Lovellsports did not reply to any in-app contacts at all, or by email. Thankfully ebay themselves quickly resolved this and I got a full refund.

Now just over 6-months later the Karrimor sandals have broken, and in-app I cannot contact lovellsports, I just get 'Message not sent', and by email I get told by lovell sports to contact their ebay team via ebay.

Seems they are intent on ducking all responsibility if at all possible !

25th Jan update: the reply to my review asked me to PM them details ... but without giving ay access to a PM route ?! Undaunted, I emailed the company the same details immediately and have had zero response so far....

2nd Feb update: my review prompted a reply asking me to PM some details, but as I can't see a way to do that I emailed all the info requested ... no reply yet !

13th Feb update: As requested by LovellSports, who sent a prepaid label, I have sent the faulty sandals off today.... Wonder how soon I will get a rsponse ?

27 Feb: the broken sandals have been sent back to me ... Their email makes a false claim: "Upon inspection of the returned item, quality control team advised the product is worn out, not manufacturer fault. " The broken sandal is clearly of poor manufacture, with unsatisfacatory 'durability' under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Avoid Lovell Sports !

23 March update: no replies at all to my communication. No redress for the shoddy article.
Well, at least ebay refunded the cost.

I bought a pair of size 5 Asics netball trainers for my wife as a Christmas present on 10/12/25. Upon opening they were a half a size too small, however they had no 5.5 so I requested a refund and printed off a refund sheet, which I filled in. The item was sent back on 29/12/25 and signed for on 31/12/25.

After asking how long a refund would take I received an email today (12 Jan 2026) stating the trainers would be sent back to me based on:

- not filling enough details on the return form (which I did, they were simply to small and there was no exchange available)

- they tell me the items returned doesn't match the order number (which they did)

- that I sent an odd pair of trainers back (I only sent back the pair they sent me originally)

I would never use this company again. It seems like a deliberate delaying ploy to avoid issuing me a refund.

Sports Direct and lovell sports are the same company and utterly shocking with customer service. I have received the wrong rugby boots for the 3rd time. I ordered white stripped adidas Kakari Adults Soft Ground rugby boots and received green stripes. I am expected to pay postage to return them. I have emailed their customer services several times and there has been no reply. The phone number advertised doesn't connect.. its a complete joke. The service is unacceptable

Absolutely awful!! Total scam artists. If I could leave a zero review I would.
Ordered two items but only one arrived. Emailed them to chase NUMEROUS TIMES, but received zero replies.
No refund, no reply, no product.

I ordered a pair of trainers for my daughter for Chrsitmas. The trainers sent out are not a matcing pair. I have emailed the company and filled out the online form but have had no response. I tried the contact number listed but it does not connect. Really poor service and customer care and one very upset daughter.

Need to return an item, website states returns form is sent with despatch confirmation email but never received this. Used website enquiry form to request return but no response. Will escalate to PayPal claim if no response received in 7 days.

Absolutely unacceptable. Items was falsely advertised as elite firm ground version of the adidas predator. I have received the pro soft ground version instead. The box is also battered. As it is clear from the awful reviews this is reoccurring, I can only urge all affected customers to report the company to trading standards.

Absolutely appalling service, ordered some cycling overshoes for my wife for Christmas on 2nd Dec, size was wrong, no invoice in package for returns, emailed the company but no response, their telephone number 0800 197 2855 does not exist. Now I am stuck with some useless overshoes with no hope of a refund. After being asked for an order number today (14-01-2026) from Lovell Sports. I am unable to give the order number as there was no paperwork in with the goods.
After being told by Lovell Sports on 19th Jan that they would email me still nothing, today being 26th Jan !!!!!!! Apologies for last comment, just found email in junk box with a QR code to return boots.

The order was for Adidas Predator League fold-over tongue firm ground football boots, size 6, in grey/black. Although the order was delivered, the boots I received are completely incorrect and do not match what I ordered. They also do not fit my son. The description on the box matches what I ordered unfortunately the contents of the box don't.
I raised this issue through the Contact Us page on your website on 24 December 2025, but I have received no response whatsoever, which is extremely disappointing.

I have emailed since and still had no response.

I am now £79.99 out of pocket for an item that is unusable.

Lovell Sports need to get a grip of their customer services, and contact information. I was sent the wrong item, trying to get a return sorted is a nightmare. This is the first and last time I will be buying anything from Lovell again

Ordered kids football boots. Trying to return. They say the returns form is issued with dispatch note, it was not. Only way to contact them to return is to complete a form that they haven’t provided or isn’t available on their website!!!. Contacted customer support 3 times via email, no response so not sure they are receiving them?
In my experience sportsdirect or prodirect are much easier sites to deal with so would avoid in future unless absolutely necessary.

Trying to return an item is a nightmare! Only way is to fill out a contact form. Done that twice with no response. Ordering is quick and easy, quick to take your money but not give it back it seems

I ordered a pair of football boots for my son as part of his Christmas present. The money has been taken and a pair of boots delivered. I ordered predator elite FG with the tongue and have received Pro SG boots. They are almost impossible to get hold of from a customer service point of view. The number they publish isn't even correct. Avoid

I ordered a table tennis table as a Xmas present which was fully paid for and a courier was booked for the 15th December. The delivery never arrived and when I tracked the order it was suddenly showing cancelled. I have had no cancellation email, reason and no refund. I’ve sent three contact forms on the website with no reply. This is so disappointing and means we will be without a large gift for Xmas causing more expensive and more importantly upset.
I would not recommend using this company who I thought could be trusted being a larger company but apparently not.

Absolute waste of time this company are. Paid £9.99 for next day delivery for some Adidas football boots that havnt come.

Trying to contact anybody to ask what is going on is impossible.

I've never had any issue with any of Mike Ashley's company's before using Lovell but I will be staying well clear from now on.

Happy to edit this review if somebody from this company has the decency to contact me.

Edit. Still no contact from this company 6 days after my initial order to the point now where I've had to issue a chargeback on my card. Avoid at all costs!!

I ordered and paid for mens British Knights size 10 trainers on 25th November 2025 and paid for delivery. They instructed EVRI to deliver them. EVRI lost them and said that I had to get in touch with Lovell sports for a replacement or refund including postage payment. I did this but I've heard nothing from them yet. Absolutely terrible service
