Was shown a possible rental by Samara in the Lewisham branch. She was very friendly, professional and informative. Definitely recommend.

The agents are always responsive to inquiries and are very helpful.

All online flat photos are authentic. The homes are in excellent condition.

Additionally, they ensure that the home is professionally cleansed prior to your move-in.

Every (minor) concern I had has been resolved swiftly.

I'm at the beginning of my tenancy with Mann Countrywide, Canterbury branch, and so far I've had nothing but a positive experience. This is in large part due to the letting agent, Danny, who has been professional and friendly from the start. He's been patient with all my questions and has made the entire process very painless. Looking forward to a good working relationship going forward as a tenant.

Terrible service, broken promises, dishonest and inexperienced staff. They promised a quick sale but it took 9 months. This was without a doubt the most stressful times using an estate agent. I will never ever use them again!

I don’t even know where to start with this review.

We are currently in the process of buying a property with this company through their office in Sydenham. I say that, but they seem to have put the property we have had an offer accepted on (i.e. sold subject to contact) back on the market. They haven’t told us about this. As it has not been advertised as sold subject to contract, we will find out where we stand legally and take action.

Originally, we had also put our property up for sale with them. We found the branch manager (and her assistant) at the time to have been upfront, efficient and responsive. Since both have left the company, our dealings with Mann have been nothing short of exceedingly poor. From being lied to about how many people were booked in for viewings for our property, to receiving calls for viewings months after we had accepted an offer to sell it, Mann have demonstrated anything but professionalism.

For me, they have zero idea what they’re doing, and their communication skills render newborn babies speechless.

Now that the property we were hoping to buy is back on the market (behind our backs), this would suggest that Mann are also untrustworthy.

Steer clear would be my advice.

If you are a landlord, do not let this company manage your property! They take 10% of your rent for doing nothing. You often have to chase them for payment. They seem to pay when they want and the amount they want. They are so frustrating to deal with. They use over priced tradesmen (or mark up the costs on work that needs doing). A weight has been lifted now I do not have to deal with them anymore.

As a mental health worker of 19 years, I would describe Mann Estate Agents as disappointing. My next door neighbour is a Mann Tenant who is a vulnerable woman in her mid-70's and suffering from a sensory impairment. Despite her age and condition, she has experienced targeted bullying from her young upstairs neighbours (also managed by Mann). They not only deliberately removed the light bulbs from the communal hallway to leave the woman in darkness and disorientate her, but they have previously poured a bucket of water onto her head from their window and continuously drop heavy objects on their floor above her head regularly, which in turn have caused concerning large cracks in her ceiling, make her jump and caused her sleep insomnia. The neighbours have cameras set up in the communal hallway to watch her movements so they can intimidate her when she leaves/returns to her property. The neighbours throw objects at their internal door which is adjacent to hers and make loud noises throughout the day and night to cause her distress. This was witnessed first-hand by a visiting police officer and can be clearly heard by myself and my partner in our next door flat.

Despite hours of footage submitted to Mann's Beckenham office and Head Office, Mann have left her without support and refuse to look at the footage (which had also been submitted to the Police).

Mann have been made fully aware of these activities and continue to take no action.

My advice is to avoid this business if you can find alternative services.

I live next door to a property that Mann in Beckenham have rented out. I've had nothing but issues with the next door neighbours. I've had noise nuisance since they moved in, but it has recently transpired that the noise I've been hearing has been harassment towards the elderly lady in the flat below. The perpetrators are a daughter aged around 28, and her mother - both of whom should know better! They have poured water over the lady out of the window, pile up crates of dirty waste outside the front of the house, including chewed up food on her windowsill so she can't open her window, taken the light bulbs out of the hallway so she can't see where she's going (including one I installed of my own so knew it was working and was gone by the next morning), two cameras on the internal hallway to watch when she's coming and going, and myself and my partner, and new neigbhour downstairs are unable to leave our house without a camera phone being pointed at us, and deliberate harassment if we're having a conversation outside our own front door. Both properties next door are rented through Mann who do not accept any responsibility. I am yet to have a satisfactory response to my complaint before going to the Ombudsman. The police and council are fully aware of the goings on, yet it's still being allowed to take place. I wouldn't touch this estate agent with a barge pole!!!

We met with Robin from Mann, Beckenham who confirmed he would assist us with a rental property. The very next day we were emailed a suitable property and called to arrange a viewing. Robin said he would collect keys and call back with an appointment time/date. From this moment, we never heard from Robin again!! I tried chasing and eventually spoke with Robin’s manager who advised the property had been let to another client. The manager apologised and advised Robin would call back to explain the situation. As expected, we did not hear from Robin. So, moral of this story is beware! Mann in Beckenham have a preferred list of clients and if you are not in the preferred list, you have no hope of a rental.

This Company is by far the worse company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. The branch in Portsmouth never return calls or emails, I have been trying to get a deposit back on a flat for over a month now after my father died.
I have sent endless emails and made lots of calls and just get ignored. The manager Lee is probably the worse one of all. Avoid these at all costs

Amelia provided a fantastic service. She was extremely professional whilst being friendly, kind and caring. She met me at the train station to take me to view three properties then dropped me back to the station again. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She certainly went that extra mile. I really appreciated what she did and would highly recommend Amelia without a shadow of doubt. Thank again.

I called the agent and I was proposed to buy off plan without showing you anything but pictures. They dont even have a show home!!! I told them I dont understand how I can buy anything for 400K without even seeing a showhome. And they just explained that this how hot is the market now. On the other side they claim they have been inside and the apartments are very nice. I think this is unprofessional and unethical.
I don't think they actually care about the customer.

This is Absolutely bad experience l had with mann. I have given holding deposit on 10th of August and they have called me and inform the flat has gone on 18th. The same day l have sent all my details to get my money back and this is today 24th August. I haven't get money back. Now no flat and no money also. Very bad experience.

Initial conversation with Catford branch was very good so gave them my flat to let. Never again. Appalling photos put up on rightmove which did not market a victorian conversion flat with garden in a conservation area at all. Consequently, poor viewings in a fast moving dynamic market. Mann did correct this but I lost valuable time which ultimately cost me rent money. Original letting contract was returned by me twice with basic mistakes and the new tenancy agreement has been sent back twice because Mann cannot get the names of landlord correct. It looks like it won't be ready in time for the agreed start date so I will lose more rent.
Mann don't seem to understand the basics of letting and have lots of young, inexperienced staff who are not being supervised by managers. When someone is on leave - no one else can get the job done.
Hugely disappointed and costly mistake for me

Absolutely disappointed and regretting I chose MANN woolwich , Victoria wasn’t supportive and helpful at all, I rented a house 3 weeks ago, when I went in there was no hot water at all. Been chasing and going to the agency in woolwich every day and until today there is still not hot water in the property. Never ever trust them especially Victoria. I can’t believe that in 21st century I need to use kettle to have shower . Thank you @mannwoolwich

I put my house on the market for sale in mid April 2022 with Mann Countrywide Rochester having invited three local estate agents to value the property. I was impressed with Andrew Reed the lead person doing valuations. I felt he knew the market and was helpful in comments on how best to present the property. As it turned out his valuation was the higher of the three agents but that was not my reason for selecting Mann Rochester. Mostly I felt I could trust Andy and his team and we would have a good working relationship. At the first open day of the showing of the property, I had three good offers with one over the asking price. Having accepted one of the offers, we set to work on moving forward. Whilst I chose not to use Mann Rochester's in-house conveyancing team, the entire process was smooth. Andy and his colleague Barry Smith were always on hand to help move things along. The sale completed in mid-July. I have no hesitation in recommending a team led by Andy Reed if you are selling your home in Rochester, Kent.

Vindictive, sneaky, deceitful estate agent who thinks who can bully, intimidate and hold you to ransom by refusing to release the keys for my own property as I chose to go to different estate agent after wasting a month and as I was not satisfied and happy with the service provided.
