The worst and the most horrible haircut I have ever had in my life! I visited this place for the first time and had the worst ever experience. I have never seen the ways layers were formed in my hair by the hairdresser. Never ever !!!!!! Be very careful ❗️

Wow! I am so happy with my hair! I was nervous to try a new Hair Stylist as the last lady I went to last completely butchered my hair , but Si has completed reversed her mess up. My hair has never looked so great! Si is definitely a Picasso of hair! My highlights also look so natural. I can highly recommend Si xxx

I had a fantastic colour and cut at McQueen by Lauren. I had a consultation prior to my appointment, after which I felt confident she understood what I was after.
I couldn’t be happier with the colour! I had a T-section of high and low lights to blend my greys. The cut and blow dry were great too.

Si was amazing and I felt so much more confident leaving the salon. I’m already booking in for my next appointment and feel like I’ve found my new favourite hairdresser. Beautiful cut and really fun! Thank you again

I recently had my hair cut and coloured in the Orpington salon and I am so love my hair!! My stylist Kirsty listened exactly to what I wanted and was very attentive throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend McQueen and Kirsty, I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

Simon at McQueen's is just wonderful. He managed a colour correction on my hair, that all other salons/stylists refused to help me with. Post chemo my hair grew back black grey, and was messed up elsewhere with a tangerine colour. Simon confidently and expertly got me back to blonde. He is professional and fun; appointments with Simon are like a visit to a friend. I can not recommend him highly enough.

It is always amazing! Si is a pleasure to be around and he always takes care of my hair. Kasia is great doing eyebrows and I got my massage done from her. It helped along with my shoulder pain. I give them 5 stars!

Had my long curly hair cut by Si today. I was very nervous having had many bad experiences in the past! Si was fantastic! So much fun and really put me at ease. It was the best haircut I've ever had and I will definitely be going back. Highly recommend

In addition to my previous review of this business - I have also just realised that I was totally dishonestly made to pay an additional £9.99 (on top of the £60 ear piercing service cost) to buy the ear piercing aftercare solution, when this aftercare solution is advertised as being included in the standard £60 ear piercing service cost!

This is an unbelievably untrustworthy company. I am gobsmacked that this place has even survived for as long as it has if this is how they act - I can only put this down to their constant sly dishonesty and the money grabbing tactics that are clearly are a major part of their company ethos.

I had my ears pierced by this salon and had to take the earrings out the next day. Even after taking our time plotting the dots on my ear, the left ear was pierced towards the top part of the dot and the right ear was pierced and the very bottom of the dot. It was pierced so much lower than the other and both were pierced at an angle too. Needless to say, they came out really wonky and asymmetrical; even at first glance my friends and family were able to easily tell. I was so distressed and unhappy with the outcome. However, having my ears pierced so incorrectly is one thing, but how they have handled the situation is actually much worse.

I have 5 years experience in the beauty industry, and 6 years in customer services. I have honestly never come across such a rude and disgusting company to have to communicate with.
My partner has got in touch with them on my behalf as he had bought and booked the piercing service as a present for my birthday.

This is still an ongoing situation. Any respectable buisness would offer a refund, or at the very least be absolutely mortified at the results of this ear piercing but they have shown us absolutely no sympathy. Even with pictures sent to them, have not taken any responsibility or ownership of the mistake or even apologised to us. They have attempted to contact me instead but after the experience my partner has had with them, there is no way I want to experience the same treatment myself.

I have gone on to contact other piercers for advice who have commented on how "awful" it was and how there is "absolutely excuse for how bad they have come out".

I really hope this review helps out people trying to research the best piercing places to go with. For the £60 cost*, I can promise you that you can find better results and customer service for half the price. You would genuinely get better results and service from Claire's Accessories.

*In actual fact, the price became £69.99 as they decided to additionally charge us for the aftercare solution that is supposed to be provided as part of the £60 treatment cost.

We have responded but we are left with very little to work with. Our questions and queries have been met with a very short and unhelpful replies, not even acknowledging the majority of what has been said by us in the emails. We have been told they want to resolve this but clearly they want nothing to do with the situation they have caused. Even with the acknowledgement of this review, we still have had no apology and they have taken no ownership of any of their mistakes.
