This is the second time I am purchasing from them and I am so disappointed this time. I have tried a lot of products over the years with varying degrees of success, and this is the first time I'm having to throw an item out because I just could not use it.
First of all, they've amended their formulas and not for the better. The products are watery and did not do much for my hair. The conditioning spray smelt so badly I could not use it. I gave it to my teenage nephew (who isn't that bothered about scents) and even he could not stand the smell.
I did contact the company but in addition to the fact they took ages to respond, the response was not useful. I expected better, especially at their price points

First and last time customer!

I ordered my products for the first time and in my confirmation it stated it can take a couple of weeks to receive my order. Fine I was patient. Products arrived however my moisturiser had been leaking all over the box. Contacted them immediately only to be ignored. 3 emails, contact over their site and FB I ended up requesting a partial credit from my bank because they didn’t respond to any of my comms to them.
I will not be buying from them again: the lack of customer care is disappointing. Your products are expensive and losing most of the product in a box isn’t ok.

I ordered my product in Nov,2025. Item arrived in January 2026. To my surprise l item missing, the 2nd item damaged and the 3rd item remain intact. I contacted Afro hair candy to refund my money they refused to do so because they think it was the DHL fault. So l the customer should contact DHL to get my refund. I am very disappointed with this brand. I will never purchase anything from them again. I have wasted my £74.00 on them . Never again

I ordered some products in May as a birthday present for myself, from the sale.

I waited for over 6 weeks, and no products ever arrived. My communications with customer service, once I finally received a response, were responded to in an extremely unprofessional way and did not offer any solutions. my email was (and still is despite my blocking and unsubscribing multiple times continuously spammed with "hope you're enjoying your products" emails. I requested a chargeback through my bank, was granted it, and yet am still receiving emails and texts though I have requested that these stop multiple times.

This company is a complete scam.

Gorgeous products! They Grew my hair back when I lost all hope. They Keep my children’s hair soft, easy to manage, moisturised and there’s no breakage at all. It’s worth the investment. Their customer services team are top tier. Thank you Afrohaircabdy, the best products I’ve ever used.

I never usually write reviews but this brand and their products are outstanding. I gave it a full year before writing my review. The products are truly organic, chemical free and natural, because if you don’t put them in the fridge they go mouldy. The oils and liquids don’t mix and the products separate which means they are not using chemicals or emulsifiers. The smells are natural, sometimes the consistency varies, but these products have out performed every product I’ve ever used, and even my wife agrees. For her, myself and our children, it’s Afrohaircandy all the way. Their moisture spray, leave in conditioners and chebe butter combo is 100% the best, you can’t go wrong. There’s never been a product made of this quality for Afro hair. Amazing products. One tip is to never place an order last minute. They make their products fresh and by hand according to orders so the wait time can be long depending on the products. Overall, outstanding products and service from this company. You’ve got me and my family for life. I put all my friends on this too. Amazing.

Lovely products, been using for 5 years and I don't trust anythinge else with my hair or skin. Once I used their hair loss set for women, I focused on hair growth with their loc method products, cowash and clay mask, as well as their kola nut serum. My hair is thicker, 3x the length, so per soft and I have 4c hair. I moved to Gambia but still get my products when I come or sometimes I order and it's delivered safely. The team are supportive and carine the owner is lovely. We live in a world where small companies are trying to stay afloat competing with huge companies who have more money to buy customers but afrohaircandy have stayed true to their brand for the 5 years I've been using these products I get the same results every time. Well done for sticking to your vision, please don't ever sell your company. You have amazing products and such a lovely company.

Products took a month to arrive! I didn’t know I was ordering hand make products, and they have a process they follow. The products are fresh, and made and fridge stored, I guess I ordered during peak time because it took ages to come. I started using the products straight away, I got the baby set of hair products for my daughter, the hair loss set for women for my wife and one of their scalp serum and their beard products… amazing products. I don’t think we’ll go back to use anything in the high street again. My wife is postpartum and was really suffering with shedding and developed bald patches at the front but these products have groan them back in less than 2 months and completely stopped the shedding. There’s not much hope for my hair, but I’m using the products on my beard.. no more breakage and my beard doesn’t feel like wire anymore. My baby’s hair at the back is growing back too and they said it the products will preserve the baby’s curls, so far, it has. I will buy this products full price, half priced, discount or no discount, they are worth the wait and worth every single penny. Their staff are great too, the only black company who actually answer their phones! Keep going afro hair candy, I’m recommending to all my friends and family. Fantastic products.

I bought the hair loss recovery for men, plus their follicle renewal elixir, I think it was over £500 all together! These products are seriously amazing, there's nothing else like it on the market for white or black people! it's on a league of its own and its a great investment because I was even planning to get a hair transplant if this didn't work but 6 months in, my hair has fully grown back and my beard connected because it was thin in some places. I had thinning at the top, and a receding hair line too. before I bought I chatted with a real person on their chat who really went out of her way to give me all the information I needed and guidance on how to treat my hair, what I should and should not do and even helped me to build a routine. when my products arrived, the spray trigger broke in transit. I emailed them and they replaced it right away. Its a small company so I appreciate their efforts in trying to support customers. customer services has been brilliant. I've even bought more of their products because I want to try and just use natural products for everything and even those skincare products and their toothpaste are brilliant. I can't recommend them enough. Keep going Afrohaircandy, we are rooting for you!

I placed my order during the Black Friday sale worth £769. I ordered hair care and skin care products, I have to say that I’m very impressed with the service. After 7 days when I didn’t receive my order I called the number from Google to ask what was going on. The lady explained that due to high order volumes they needed 14 working days to process orders but because some products have rare ingredients, they may take longer. Since I got my products I’m using with my son and daughter. All breakage has stopped and my bald patch is growing back (their setups are the truth!) My hair feels moisturised, it’s actually so soft which it was really corse before. My son has eczema, and the skin products have done wonders for him. I wish I’d discovered it sooner to be honest. It’s literally the rolls Royce of hair products. Well done.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My products took ages to arrive and Afrohaircandy ignored me when I contacted them. I am not happy with the products as the hairspray is different from other times I’ve bought it and the products in jars are like water but they have been solid before. They are also only 2/3 full. I will be contacting my bank for a full refund as their products are non-refundable. They have been getting away with this for far too long so contact your bank immediately as they are charging extortionate prices for bad products. The constant SPAM also breaks the GDPR laws even though I have unsubscribed lots of times. They also do a round of fake positive reviews every now and then to get people to buy from them so don't be fooled.

I placed an order for x5 Afro Candy products at approx. £91.00 as part of the big pre Xmas sale advert being run on Facebook and Instagram. My order was placed on 2nd December 25 and today 29th December 25 I am still waiting for the order to be delivered. I have emailed Afro Candy on a few occasions and no response and no update has been received. Interestingly I got an email asking how I was enjoying the products, someone assumes that I have received them, but not unfortunately.
Is this company still operating or have I been scammed ?????

I was really disappointed with this order. The products arrived with a very strong and unpleasant smell, particularly the deep conditioner, which smelled as though it had gone off.
Due to concerns about product quality and safety, I did not feel comfortable applying it to my hair. Hair products should never smell putrid or alarming, especially when they are intended for use on the scalp.
Unfortunately, as the items are non-returnable, I’m now left with expensive products I cannot use. I would not recommend these products based on my experience.

Constant email spam... and now they've started spamming me with text messages as well. No response to customer service emails, and ignore "unsubscribe" requests. Awful company. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

Terrible communication , order took about 3 weeks to arrive, the smell is awful of this product my son won’t use it . Waste of money in my opinion .Not happy with how much this cost and postal charges were about £6 for a tiny jar . Definitely won’t be buying again

As others have said, the GDPR breaching spam is beyond irritating, however the customer service is next level AWFUL. I ordered 3 products, firstly they took ages to come, secondly, the moisture spray was completely separated, smelled disgusting, and was dated 01/01/25, despite the product description saying it has a shelf life of 6 months. Following this, the 'customer services' 'team' (joke as it's clearly someone replying from their living room at 8pm), have refused to refund or replace it, instead claiming it is in good condition! They breach UK marketing spam / GDPR laws, and consumer rights laws to boot. STAY WELL CLEAR FROM THESE COWBOYS.
The level of back and forth I'm going through to get this product refunded (or replaced), I'd take either, is utterly ridiculous.

Shipping is about 14 working days however, i experienced excellent customer service! The team was attentive, friendly and handled my order with great care. i truly appreciate how professional and supportive they were through out the entire process.

Waited almost 4 weeks for my products, after several phone calls and messages, I eventually said I had run out of one of the products and eventually received the items the following day. Unfortunately one if the products was only 2/3rds full. Gutted as these products are very expensive.

Don’t give this company your information unless you want marketing messages you can’t unsubscribe from sent to every known device and medium until the end of your days.
