Was reassuring having the insurance behind my surgery

I was fortunate to not need to claim on this insurance, but the peace of mind it brought was worth it, fair price, easy to navigate my account online had i needed to claim, would recommend and have done

The lady I spoke to on the phone was so helpful and advised me on the best insurance to take out. I think it's a really good insurance to have when travelling abroad for cosmetic surgery, it's just peace of mind and a great insurance to have. I would recommend this company highly

Don’t bother. I’d highly recommend finding an alternative insurer. These are just your typical money grabbing scammers.

I used this company last week whilst going to Turkey for dental treatment. Unfortunately I had to start a claim as I need to return this week & sort a problem with a possible bruised or compressed nerve in lower gum. Far too many hoops to jump through, especially when asking for about 5 different pieces of information concerning the original treatment. I asked my dental clinic to pass them on, but so far they have not. I started the claim on the Monday morning & was ready to book flights for Tuesday morning & return Friday. Time is very important for this type of re-treatment. However they tell you, you will NOT be covered until they receive all that information & then authorise you to go. The form also asks how much your claiming etc, which nobody knows till they have travelled. Clinic is covering hotel & treatment. I've had to go ahead and book flights anyway. All I would have been claiming is approx £300 for return flights & they would have paid £50pd whilst staying (3 days) so about £450 then they deduct £250. They also ask you to take out new Insurance for this unexpected trip. What a rip off, I will be making a complaint to the FSA when I get back. Wish I had just used the insurance the clinic offered, but due to pre-existing medical conditions, I thought best to get my own. If going for dental treatment abroad, let your clinic sort it, they can then handle the correspondence.
