Millets - Keswick Reviews 

I have never bought a set of walking boots before so had no idea where to start. Mark was very patient and went out of his way to find a set of boots that fitted. We tried other shops in Keswick but found that the staff weren’t particularly interested.

Went into shop on Wednesday and Riley was very helpful and got all our items without any fuss .

Caroline was absolutely fantastic in helping me choose out my first pair of walking boots, very informative and accommodating. She encouraged me to do a lap of the shop which is great because the pair I had my eye on didn’t end up being the ones I bought and thanks to her I know I made the right decision. Very bubbly and if I ever need to buy a new pair, I hope she can help me again!

I was passing Millets in Keswick today, saw there was a sale on so popped in to look at the trainers , some great deals on, I was served by a young guy called Nat who could not have been more patient or helpful, I walked out with a great deal on two pairs of trainers . Thank you Nat, you’re a star 👍

Genuinely the best customer service I have experienced in a very long time. Nat was so kind and helpful. I purchased some walking shoes and wanted a rucksack for a long distance walk. Nat patiently helped me choose the right one, he showed me the nifty features and fitted the rucksack for me. And I hadn't realised that as a National Trust member I benefitted from a discount so that was an added bonus at the end.

On holiday in Keswick when my daughter & I came across Millets. I have been contemplating buying myself another sleeping bag but have never got round to doing it. I sleep in a sleeping bag preferable to sleeping in bed since my husband died. I am over 80 yrs old. Went in & saw one I liked at a reasonable price but needed to know whether it was machine washable or not.I approached Mark who was quite busy at the time and after a few minutes he came back to us. He was very helpful, found the tag inside. I couldn’t do that as it was too high for me to reach. He waited until I was satisfied, no rush and then saw to the sale. A nice unexpected experience & I am loving my new sleeping bag

We needed a tent quick ... Having left poles at home! The only shops in Keswick that had a tent that i can stand up in were Blacks and Millets. I was very happy with the choice in Millets and chose a very nice adhara 500 by Berghaus. Very pleased with the tent which was priced very competitively and Mark who served us was great - helpful, enthusiastic and friendly

My wife needed a pair of walking shoes and had a large choice to choose from. Our sales assistant,Riley, was very helpful and informative. Nothing was too much trouble. We left with a pair of shoes which have been used straight away.

Amy and crew are absolutely awesome - big fan of the front desk display featuring sheep and cow statuettes. I would like to see a comeback of the Cumbrian giant lake frogs, mind you.

Caroline was very friendly and let us know that we could get discount because we were members of the caravan and camping club. We bought two rucksacks for ten pounds each. An absolute bargain.
