Arrived quickly, was exactly to spec, excellent service

Ordered a mirror which was delivered very quickly (by TNT) and at first I was impressed with the service. Opened the item on the day of receipt as advised and found it to be severely damaged: glass smashed and back hanging off - clearly a heavy item had been dropped on it.

Sent photos to customer support team as requested, who said they would advise 'next steps after speaking to management.' I didn't find this reassuring but waited for a response. I received a prompt voice message but when I got back to them I was flabbergasted at how the call unfolded.

The company wanted to collect the item, examine the frame and FIX the mirror - despite having clearly seen the extent of the damage in the photos provided. Crucially, they could not give me a time-frame as to when this would all happen.

When I explained that this was not acceptable as I needed the item quickly and I also (quite reasonably in my view) would like a new product that had not sustained any prior damage, the customer support agent said this was not possible as there were none left.

I offered to accept an alternative item to the same value but when the agent argued that this would have to be 'cleared with management' I lost my faith in any satisfactory resolution and asked for a refund. The agent then advised that she would 'ask the management' for a refund but she could not say when she would be able to confirm whether this would be forthcoming as she was currently busy with deliveries etc.. To say I was shocked at this response is an understatement.

Whilst by law the company is bound to provide a refund under the circumstances of this delivery, they don't appear to understand the fundamentals of consumer rights. Presumably when everything goes right they are good to deal with but not (in my experience) when things go wrong. I found this company very frustrating and unprofessional to deal with and I am surprised they have such a high score on this site. I would not advise buying something as fragile as a mirror from a company who appears to have no straight through replacement/refund process and needs to 'check with management' before anything sensible can be agreed.

Returning customer! We've used mirrorworld twice now for bespoke mirrors, made to order and we would use them again. Customer service are good to deal with and the product is great - reasonably priced too for a bespoke product. Thank you!

Gareth guided us through the options, helped us to choose the right TV and frame and gave us a competitive price on the TV and a bathroom mirror from a great range of frames. We were kept informed about our order throughout and the delivery driver stayed to make sure that everything had arrived safely and undamaged. Just a fabulous service from start to finish and we are delighted with the result. Only dropped a star because some instruction on mounting for the practically challenged would have been useful!

We were recommended Mirrorworld by someone else that had used them, and we were so pleased with the excellent service we received. The website is very good, with a huge range of mirrors, but if you have any queries there is always someone helpful to assist. Gareth was particularly helpful and gave great advice when we were placing our order, and James and his team were so professional when they delivered and installed the mirror. I would highly recommend Mirrorworld, and if you are having a very large mirror and you live close enough to their base, then the installation team are brilliant.

Beautiful Mirror
I had been looking for a mirror for ages, but either quality or size was an issue - until I tried Mirror World, where I couldn’t believe the choice of frames and ability to have the exact size I wanted. I received frame samples within a couple of days, and the mirror very quickly once I placed the irder. I couldn’t be more happy with the quality, service or price. Thank you!

Excellent product

I recently purchased a mirror for £181 but, when my credit card bill arrived, I found that Mirrorworld had charged me three times for this item: £181 and two further debits, each for £195. These over-charges were refunded but not in time to appear on my current credit card statement, and so I had to either pay the over-charge and wait for the refund to appear on my account the following month or underpay this month and incur an interest charge on the credit card account of £35.

Times are very tough in the UK right now and, like many people, I don't have an extra £400 pounds for temporary payment of Mirrorworld's over-charge and so I'm going to have to underpay and incur the interest on the account for the first time in more than thirty years. Obviously, Mirrorworld are not legally obliged to compensate me but given the scale of the over-charge, I am surprised that the company refused to offer me any recompense whatsoever.

This is very poor customer service and so I shall not use this firm again.

Delighted with mirror. It came on time and the packaging was excellent!

Easy to navigate the website and found exactly what we needed. Ordering was straightforward, online questions answered quickly (and were understandable - not always the case on some sites!) and the delivery indication was spot-on.
Well protected package arrived with very helpful driver who helped get the mirror - which was heavy - into our hall.
It is now up on the wall and casting light into a dark space which is everything we wanted - thank you Mirrirworld!
