This company is a fraud.
I was told to return my clothes that came in a size small when I ordered XL. clearly too small. I had to pay £29 to return the dreses to China. and £79 I paid . I sent them off in January 226 and the. same dresses were returned back to me on 15/08/26. with no changes I must have sent 50 email betwwen January and 2026 and August 2026. I am so dissapointed. I did not get my refund

Terrible company ! Emailed 20 times and just same reply !! Give you a discount and you can keep the sandals 😫They are cheap plastic sandals that are falling to bits already ! Rang credit card company hope they can get my money back !!

Do not buy from this company. I ordered boots that did not remotely match the description - were of inferior quality and were at least two sizes too small. A refund was impossible to obtain and I lost £60 in total.

Ich habe mir den Ledergürtel letzten Montag bestellt, da ich einen passenden Ton für meine braunen Anzugschuhe gesucht habe. Lukas vom Support hat mir vorab noch bei der genauen Länge geholfen, da ich zwischen zwei Größen stand. Das Leder ist in den ersten Tagen noch etwas starr und muss definitiv erst noch ein bisschen eingetragen werden. Die matte Schnalle ist aber angenehm dezent und drückt glücklicherweise nicht, wenn man länger am Schreibtisch sitzt. Macht insgesamt einfach einen soliden Eindruck im Alltag.

Für unseren Trip nach Spanien brauchte ich noch ein paar leichte Oberteile. Das Leinenhemd von Montford hat sich echt bewährt. Der Stoff atmet super und man schwitzt kaum darin, selbst wenn es richtig heiß wird. Nach dem Auspacken war es natürlich typisch für Leinen etwas zerknittert, also musste ich es erstmal ordentlich bügeln. Der Schnitt ist locker, genau wie ich es mag, und die Nähte sehen sauber verarbeitet aus. Werde mir wahrscheinlich noch eine andere Farbe davon bestellen.

Inferior product that otherwise had looked good in pictures. When I contacted them about a refund they did their best to convince me to buy another purchase at a 20%discount. They claimed a "commitment to environmental sustainability" and offered options including the return to the "warehouse" in China. They will not process any refund until they receive the item. After paying for shipping, sending them the tracking information, and anticipating a refund I figured I would recoup at least 50% of what I lost. That package was mailed with tracker service on 3/13/26. The package has been sitting in customs in China since 3/27. It is now 7/1 and it hasn't moved. I have not received any returned communication from Montford's customer service. Definitely NOT a company I will ever do purchase with again.

They are scammers and everyone else should be aware. The products they sell are a complete Knock-off and worth less than the cost of actually returning them. Then they would start negotiations on how many percent refunds they can offer you from the original amount you paid. The banks are not even helping out with this known scammers.

Supposed company from the Netherlands actually based in china. Ordered trousers, both of which arrived late, the wrong size, cheap material. Nothing like advertised. Website says incorrect order can be returned free of charge… to china?!!
Returns costs would have been half the value!

Lots of emails back and forth, partial refund offered to stop me complaining, then they blocked communication. The Ai robot called “Olivia” can go to hell. Case opened with my bank ref scam seller, just received refund from bank.

Honest review, it’s not worth your time and effort.

If you don happen to get scammed before you see this review.. tell “Olivia the robot” to go F herself.

Avoid ,Don’t bother,clothing arrived ,nothing like the picture on website ,wrong size very poor quality cheap and nasty
Tried to send items back, there returns mailbox is always full ,they make it as difficult as possible to send items back
Got a refund through my credit card company after opening a dispute which is ongoing

Scam. They Ignore your emails, your items don’t turn up and you can’t get a refund.

Please do your research before purchasing from this shocking company.

Scam! Do not use!

I purchased a t-shirt. It arrived over a week late, and it was the wrong size and the material and quality was atrocious. Honestly the worst thing I've ever bought online. To refund, I had to pay £18 to send it back to China. That was over a month ago and they have ignored my 10+ emails for an update. The phone number provided is never answered, it just forwards to a Dutch voicemail.

Do not purchase from this company under any circumstances - I'd give it 0 stars if I could.

Not sure why I give this company one star, their clothes are always too small with long arms!!
Stick to our traders and if I'd known it was based abroad, I wouldn't have used them.

They sent the wrong size shirts and shoes. When I requested a return, they said that they decided to send the bigger sizes because they thought that they would fit better. I emailed back that they do not fit better and are too big. They said that I could return them to China at my own expense and that they would then spend at least 30 days reviewing the return to determine whether or not I would receive a refund. The quality of the shoes was terrible as well.

What a waste of time and money. Bought what I thought looked like leather/suede slip on clogs but what arrived was cheap plastic rubbish. Return at own cost to china! and that will probably be another cost as I doubt I will get a refund anyway.
Do yourself a favour. Give Montford & Co a miss

Ordered what was described as Long Sleeved Polo, cotton blend, timeless casual elegance. It never turned up in the time and took 3 weeks to arrive and then found it to be appalling in every way. It is 95% polyester shiny sweatshirt material with elasticated cuffs and collars which would be a complete embarrassment to wear. This is a scam company from China pretending to be a British brand and they will not accept returns. Avoid at all cost.

Low quality boots arrived. Although they offer a ‘hassle-free return’ I now have to pay for shipping costs back to China. Offered me a discount rather than a return, but the boots are really not worth it. There is nothing on their website suggesting this was the case. Looked like it was a Dutch company. Will never buy from them again.

Do not use this company under any circumstances. The quality of their products is extremely poor for the price and their return policy is nothing as they say. In fact, they have no returns policy as they do not accept anything back even if it is the incorrect size. The company claims to be in the USA, but in actual fact it is in China.

Boots didn't fit and attempts to return proved pointless - AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Ordered green leather riding boots. Absolutely awful, cheap plastic and nothing like the photograph.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!! Never again!!!

Leather boots were a complete lie on their website and cheap plastic ones arrived .. they justify it with some nonsense about being environmentally friendly and using plastic irrespective of the fact you ‘buy’ their advertised Leather Boot
Reported them to Office of Fair Trading and all relevant bodies ..
also should have reported them for modern day slavery as they seem to only ‘employ’ one member of staff called ‘Oliva’ who works 24 hours a day !!
It’s heartbreaking really imagining all the hard working people being scammed out of their money and I wish there was some way to make others more easily aware !
The company must be raking it in .. which is ironic bearing in mind how many great companies are struggling to stay afloat in the present climate .
Hopefully Karma will catch up but until then this company continues to act both illegally and immorally…
