An odd one this.
An odd one this. I was hunting a new blade for my mower. Saw it on the site, ordered and paid for it and thought job done. Then ping! Sorry we are out of stock. Please accept a refund. I was disappointed but then kept reading and was directed to the suppliers website, which did have stock, for a lower price including courier delivery from France! So mow direct have both lost a sale nd kept a customer for their openness and honesty. Its just a shame the website was not connected to stock levels.

Delivery was on time
Delivery was on time, but the outer carton was not in a good condition.
The manuel is not impressive and some of the polts for fitting the handlebars was missing. Luckily I had some in our workshop.
Two rubber protectors was included but no instruction what they are used for or where?

Best Customer service and Product!
After placing my order, I was contacted on the telephone to arrange a convenient delivery date.
As promised my mower arrived. The driver gave my husband tips and even offered to help move the box with him.
Lawn mower easily put together....up and running within an hour of being delivered. Thrilled with my purchase and the quality of the product, along with customer service and delivery!!!

Staff really knew their stuff and were very helpful when website issues meant the machine we were trying to order was, in fact, no longer available.
All the wee difficulties of communication etc were quickly sorted in a friendly manner.
Great delivery service by palletways and all just as we had hoped for.

Really bad
Ok, so I don't normally leave reviews unless it's a particularly good or really bad experience. Unfortunately, this one was really bad. The 1st mower I got, an expensive self driving Energizer one was Ok for 10 months until it stopped working. I wasn't surprised at this as it seemed poorly made so I packaged it up as instructed and waited for a courier to collect. 3 weeks later a courier picked it up.. Reason for delay... Sally at mowdirect went off on holidays and didn't bother to arrange any courier till she came back (well done Sally!). 3 weeks after that, after many phone calls and e-mails which were never returned I was told my mower was broken and offered a replacement. I didn't want another Energizer one as it was poor quality (but expensive!) so I paid a bit extra for an Echo machine. By this time the grass is getting really long so I'm looking forward to trying out my new machine. 5 weeks later after many more unreturned phone calls and e-mail's asking just when my mower is coming I'm told that there has been a fire at the warehouse that week and mower would be a while yet! I asked for a refund and after another 2 weeks of unreturned phone calls and e-mails my refund eventually appeared. Hooray, except the grass has now evolved into forest and trapped me in the house!!

I have looked at the email trail and you confirmed on the 12th July that the machine was ready to collect and i booked the collection on the 19th July with DX not 3 weeks later as you implied. Due to where you live in Scotland it was then collected on the 25th July and returned to us on the 31st. We then unfortunately had a massive fire which resulted in us loosing our warehouse, offices and parts department so were not able to operate properly for several weeks hence the delay. I suggest in future you purchase much nearer to the Isle Of Gigha.

It would take too long to say all that was wrong. But, suffice to say, if you have problems - dont bank on getting your money back . But, they will just keep saying you have to pay for shipping even when its faulty ( they will say the goods are not faulty even when its obvious they are ). So, sure, buy from them - but cross your fingers when you do.

Wow brilliant service
Wow, a brilliant piece of machinery as we wanted to get through a small opening for a 91-year-old to use.
Once all sorted with Mowdirect, there were some problems, but the guys did us proud and got up and running. My father is now a proud owner of his first sir mower.

Racing 6224PR Ultra-Compact…
We bought a Racing 6224PR Ultra-Compact Rear-Collect Ride-On Mower. From mow direct and its cheap Chinese product ive had problems flat tyres only to discover the weld in the wheel was bad and spikey. The customer service is Apalling and I wouldn't recommend d this company also they inly allow positive feed back on their site as ive tried twice now and its not up I'd look elsewhere as we feel we're stuck with it
