Mr Shifter (Middlesbrough) Removals and Storage Reviews

Fantastic service in one of the most stressful times in your life. Really accommodating at such short notice. And the guys on the day were second to none - fantastic crew. They were quick, efficient, very respectful, polite but good crack.

We used this removal service on 13 August 2026, which happened to be the hottest day of the year! Despite the extreme heat, the whole team remained professional, friendly and incredibly hardworking throughout.

What really made the experience so positive was their attitude. They were efficient, careful and clearly took pride in doing a great job. They handled our belongings with care and even managed to manoeuvre large wardrobes up some very difficult stairs without any fuss.

The team’s professionalism, teamwork and excellent customer service made what could have been a very stressful day feel easy and straightforward. They are a real credit to the company.

We’re currently renting while we look for our forever home, but when the time comes, we’ll definitely use their services again and would have no hesitation recommending them to friends and family.

Thank you to the whole team for a fantastic job!

On time arrival, great communication. Items removed with speed and care, same as when delivering at new home. Couldn't ask for better service. Would happily recommend and use again when needed

We recently used Mr Shifter for storage and removals for my son and can’t praise them enough. Nothing too much bother from booking, delivering boxes etc, having to carry some furniture from up the road because of narrow road and trees. The lads all good humoured and know their stuff !
We are now waiting for a removal date and know Jim and the team will make it as easy as possible.

A very stressful process made all the more easier with the Mr Shifter team. Help and advice throughout the process was quickly received and on the day a very professional team who were polite, courteous and catered for any eventuality. Highly recommended by a very satisfied customer.

Mr Shifter provided a great service for our house move, with excellent communication and a very friendly, professional team. We would definitely recommend 👌

Really happy with the service. The lads were friendly, helpful and professional, and made our move really smooth and stress-free. Would definitely recommend — thank you!

They provided a very professional and efficient service. The guys were very friendly. I’d highly recommend them.

We used Mr Shifter after a recommendation and we were not disappointed.
From start to finished the whole experience was excellent. Very professional and personable in the quote phase, excellent communication and feedback.
The price was very competitive.
On the day, the moving team worked very hard, very polite and kept us informed at all stages.
When we moved into the new property, the team went above any beyond and moved everything in a very timely manner.
The measure of a good culture is how employees act when they are not seen.
The team where amazing and could not recommend them highly enough.
Kimd regards
Paul

Brilliant service you will not be disappointed

A big thank you to Jim, Mathew and the team for assisting me and my family with our recent house move

I can’t thank you all enough for making the process so easy, from start to finish.

Nothing was too much trouble, pricing was clear and the service throughout has been outstanding. I highly recommend this company and also their storage facilities, which are reliable and value for money

I’m a very happy customer!

The second time we have used Mr Shifter removals. Our moving day went without a hitch thanks to them. Three brilliant lads who worked non stop on a difficult move from a second floor apartment, thankfully for them to a bungalow. They were exceptionally polite and helpful. We would definitely recommend Mr Shifter removals. Thankyou once again

Excellent from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble, move went smoothly with no issues. Geoff and the other lads were good humoured and worked tirelessly.

Highly recommended

an awesome group of people, always go the extra mile

Had a great house move and the Mr Shifter team certainly played a big part. Nothing was too much trouble for these great lads, would definitely recomend

A very efficient service with super polite staff. Very tide and very organised. Very happily recommended!

The guys were brilliant! First class removals service in the north east.
Arrived on time, were careful and put everything where we needed. 2nd time of using and I wouldn’t hesitate to use again.

Very punctual and very hard working, I moved into a second floor flat, which was not an easy move, it went very well after a lot of hard work from these lads 👍
