I have had the exact same experience as a couple of other poor customers. My order defaulted to an old address, even though it had been changed for a long time. I immediately tried to call customer service, where I waited and waited to be hung up on 3 times. I finally got through to a human, where the overseas line was so bad, I could barely understand. Nothing could be done. I have been a loyal Myer customer for years, but that's it, no more. What has happened to our once beautiful country, it is NOT ok to treat customers like this! Grrrr
Don’t waste your time
If you want to make an online order that disappears into thin air upon payment, then resurfaces a couple of weeks later, (eg when you are on holiday) this is your place. Try to track the parcel? Receive message on tracking link “something went wrong, try again.” I try again, same message for days. It’s like they took $120 from me just to annoy me. Eventually (7 days after ordering) I received an email from Auspost saying they received the parcel. Already outside the “expect delivery 3/7 days metro area” timeframe. And even that is now delayed. Don’t waste your time there are better alternatives. Australia should not accept such shoddy service. I still have not got my bed linen… as I am now on holiday hoping it’s sitting at my front door as there was no option to redirect delivery or deliver to a pick up location …
Fantastic service at Myer Joondalup
Just when I thought good old fashioned service was a thing of the past I was served by Victoria from Clinique today. She went above and beyond to get me my perfect foundation. I am so happy with my purchases and the exceptional service I received from Victoria at Myer Joondalup. Thank you!
Such little concern for customer service. Delivery failure
Purchased items online. Updated delivery address in system. Paid. Address defaulted to previous address. Noticed straight away and contacted phone line. Waited 20 mins to get through. Explained error. Told there’s nothing they can do. Told them the outdated address is more than 500kms away. Now have to chase up Australia post once item is dispatched to see if I can redirect.
This was suppose to be a time saver. A reliable service. Unacceptable. Good reason and time to change to small Australian businesses, who can make amendments as is needed. Loyalty comes from reciprocity.
Lack of customer service
Attempted to purchase a piece of lingerie today at Myer Bourke St store. Unsuccessful at 2 cashpoints. First attempt at one service desk staff were discussing their lunch break while 5 customers were waiting. I then proceeded to another cashpoint on the same floor and no one was serving. I left my item on the desk and won't be back. I noticed the store was quiet, no wonder.

What has happened to this Australian company?

Myer online followup is unacceptable
Myer's online customer experience is rigid, rote script-reading that is totally unrealistic and unhelpful. As a regular MyerOne online customer, I noticed my invoice was mislabelled with a non-existent address: the road was incorrect. I promptly followed up, hoping to rectify it. Then tried again and again. No one in the team has even a rudimentary understanding of the word 'service'. Far less were they able to rectify their mistake... And with no supervisor ever available, its 'customer experience' is a complete disgrace.
Totally disappointed in Myer
Totally disappointed in Myer. I purchased a pair of shoes online then had to go overseas for a family emergency. When I came back after a month and a half realized the shoe was big called and took the shoe to Myer for an exchange for the next size down and they refused saying it’s the policy. But come one can Myer not make an exception for a genuine case. I only wanted the same style in a smaller size. This is disappointing and not great service.
This was my first and last order
This was my first and last order. I bought 5 items, which came divided in 4 parcels! I hate when they do this. Plus, one of the items got cancelled after 9 days of waiting.I reordered, as the item was in stock, I even paid for extra shipping, as I did not want to buy more to get free shipping. They cancelled it again. Again, reordered and cancelled. I gave up after that and won't buy from ever again.

Difficult Returns & Customer Service via AI
I ordered two of European pillows, at the time they were both in stock. A few days later l received an email telling me that only one of the items was in stock. I receive one European pillowcase, which I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with the one, since they are used as a pair. So I then requested a return, which I had to jump through multiple hurdles making the process extremely difficult. I call them multiple times before being told that I had to go through their chat AI bot however every time I requested the return form to fill out the AI bot would just send me their refund policy which had no link containing the form so we just went back-and-forth despite requesting multiple times to speak to a real person. Finally, I was able to get onto a real person. I was told if I wanted a refund I would have to pay the postage cost despite it being a mistake on behalf of Myer. I asked them to send me the second European pillow to which they denied. They said it was a 'change of mind request which is was not. I would not recommend purchasing bedding from them, it's a trap to offload their old stock.

Rotten Service - Online purchase $780..18/3 pl as ced order, myer online tracking order couldn’t fine order, rang operator who said she could see it had been dispatched but couldn’t see where to , o would raise an investigation for new number - would take 3-5 days. Next day I received SMS from Auspost to say delivery btw 1 -3.30 & tracking number. Order didn’t arrive, checked tracking and it had been delivered to the north of TAs, I live in Hobart - totally wrong delivery location. I found a number, staff were rude, disinterested and unhelpful. Transferred my call multiple times, did onnected call, I have no way of retrieving my order. What do I do
Ineptitude at its finest!
It is infuriating to receive an online order of clothing with the security tag still attached. The online automated “assistant” was useless, meaning I now have to find time to go in-store to have it removed. What an absolute JOKE!

Absolute Nightmare – Broken Items & Ridiculous Return Process
I recently ordered 12 black Maxwell & Williams bowls from Myer’s website, and it has been one of the worst online shopping experiences I’ve ever had.
The Delivery: Half of my order arrived smashed. 6 bowls were fine, but the other 6 were completely broken.
The Service: This is where it gets truly insane. I called customer service to get replacements sent out, and instead of just fixing the problem, they told me they cannot send replacements because the items come from a vendor. Their "solution"? I have to get a refund, re-purchase the items myself online, and then wait 24–48 hours for them to "apply" for a $10 shipping voucher so I’m not out of pocket for delivery.
The Staff: I spoke to Joshua, who flat-out refused to organize the shipping voucher upfront and told me I’d have to buy them first and then call back again. I called a second time and spoke to Brooklyn, who kept me on hold for 20 minutes just to tell me the exact same thing. To make it worse, I was told that if the price of the bowls increases while I’m waiting for my refund/voucher, I just have to hope the refund covers it.
Bottom Line: Myer is making the customer jump through hoops and take a financial risk to fix their mistake. It is rigid, inefficient, and honestly, the worst customer service I’ve dealt with in a long time. Save yourself the headache and buy your dinnerware elsewhere.

Cherrill served me in homewares today at Myer Galleria Morley WA. She was so so so lovely and helpful. She was very friendly and chatty and she made my day. Its a rare occurrence in this day and age to be served by someone like Cherrill. Wish all your staff were like her. She was like a breath of fresh air. Thank you very much.
never received my order
I ordered some bed sheets online and never received them, I had to contact the customer service team multiple times and waited for ages on the phone, they also wanted me to keep checking up on the issue instead of them taking ownership of the problem. Eventually it appeared that their courier couldn't deliver them to me as no-one was home but they didn't leave a card or tried to contact me in any way to rearrange delivery. I received an email saying they delivered them however I never received them and so far I haven't received any evidence (ie: a photo) that they did. I have asked for a refund and am still waiting to hear back from them. Is the Myer online store a SCAM!??!?!
