Used newmans holidays for many years always delt with cilla at brean sands alway s been extreemly helpful any problems sorted straight away if you need pet friendly caravans speak with cilla or Steve and then will help

They have taken away the hassle of booking in at the reception desk. Around 11 o’clock on the day of arrival they send the code for a key pad beside the caravan, simply enter the number and the pad unlocks and there is the key to the caravan. Will certainly be using t hem again. The caravan was comfortable and the central heating was very efficient, didn’t need it on for long.

Wonderfull time lodge was perfect lovely for my disabled husband towatch the golf and the dogs loved the garden came home and booked again for September 9th absolutely beautifull Anne was the maid to the lodge she is a credit to you as the lodge was imaculate jean fe 17

From start to finish everything was handled well. Only criticism was that the caravan did not have a full complement of crockery. There was only 2 small plates for 6 people and a mixture of glasses. Otherwise comfortable and clean. Visit enjoyed by all .

We stayed at Unity Farm for 7 nights in a luxury lodge. As usual everything lived up to expectations with the lodge being spotlessly clean and our welcoming pack being hand delivered within minutes.
We were able to enjoy a stress free holiday and have rebooked with Newmans for a similar holiday later in the year.

Great caravan p6, very clean, everything we needed in there, brilliant wifi and nice veranda. Hope to stay again

This is the 2nd time we have booked (SC4) a Newman's Holiday Home at Beverley Holidays Paignton, and as on the previous occasion, communication was superb, the caravan was exactly as listed, spotlessly clean and ready for our arrival. Our club passes were ready for us at Beverley reception and the crew there were genuinely friendly and helpful.
Our security deposit was returned to us within a few days of our return home.
Thank's again to Newman's for ensuring a smooth and very enjoyable holiday.

GREAT CARAVAN
could not complain about the service or caravan we stayed in at Ladram bay. Better service than Ladram them selves Good job Newman Holidays will be using you again!

Caravan spotless clean. Newman's are great with their admin. The good thing about booking with Newman's is that you can choose your caravan pitch on site, so you know exactly where your are

We paid for "platinum" and got "saver" level caravan, with not enough equipment for a family of 6 in a 6-berth, chipped mug, crack in pint glass, handle loose on frying pan, tv picture breaking up and sofa bed unusable...

We thought we were taking our autistic daughter and pet dog to a "tranquil environment" which boosts being "dog-friendly", but a fireworks event on Saturday night in next field, so directly over our caravan, resulted in our daughter having a 3 hour meltdown and dog shaking... no-one at Newmans were on duty and no response until Monday...

We decided to leave a night early as didn't want to risk further trauma, and tried to feedback on our experience, resulting in a complaint to avoid other families with autistic children and dogs going through the trauma we did, but never dealt with a more uninterested or unprofessional outfit... makes Ryanair's customer service look good...!

DON'T BOTHER BOOKING THROUGH NEWMANS...!

As a group of friends we went to play bingo one night but had not purchased our pass cards so we were not allowed to. It would have been simple to take our details and let us play and we would have paid the next day. Your company lost out on over £100 from us because we would have had drinks and played bingo but it didn't happen. Needless to say we will not be visiting again. Very disappointed with allowing children to carry on playing while the game was going on!!

Just returned from a long weekend at unity farm. The holiday park was lovely with lots of things to keep you and the kids entertained. This was let down massively by the state of the caravan we hired from newmans holiday homes. Upon arrival the smell hit us as we opened the door, there was stains all over the curtains, walls, worktops, light switches! There was mould in the shower and could clearly tell it hasn’t had a good clean in months. The fire in the living area wouldn’t switch on, so we were frozen all night. Sent an email to Newmans the next day and was called a few hours later when we was out for the day and was offered someone to come and clean the van and wash the curtains. This should have been done before we got there. We were also offered an oil filled radiator to keep the whole van warm which is a joke in itself but was told when we use it to turn off all other electric appliances while it was in use due to it tripping all the electric. This is the first holiday we have booked using Newmans and will definitely be our last. I advise you to book else where if you want to stay in a clean warm caravan.

On checking in the gate to decking was hanging down and had to be lifted to make secure for dog also decking was dirty and strewn with debris. Once inside the caravan was dirty the crockery was dirty, carpets were covered in dog hair and the extractor covered in crease. The gas fire was covered in dust so much would have been dangerous to use. These issues were reported to Newmans and to their credit they came out and dealt with the issues and apologized for the problems. They could not fix the gate as they said Haven would have to deal with this needless to say it was not fixed. Overall the rest of the holiday was fine but you do not expect to come into a dirty caravan which should have been cleaned ready for your arrival but from what we found this was not the case.

We made a last minute booking 4 days prior to our arrival date. The website was easy to use with good information to help make your selection. Booking process was easy and good communication via email leading up to the arrival.

We booked a 4 birth lodge on the Fairways site. The check in process was intended to be efficient, we were text a code for the key box located at the lodge on the morning of arrival however there was a barrier at the entrance to the site and the code we were given didn’t work. Despite using the ‘call’ button, nobody answered to assist us but fortunately, another vehicle was leaving the site so the barrier lifted and we gained entry. We arrived after 7pm which was considered out of hours so reception wasn’t open, I left a voice message on the number provided to ask for the correct number but we never got a call back, the details however had been had hand written and left in the lodge.

The lodge was lovely! Overlooking the 18th hole of the golf course, very spacious, comfortable, home from home feel, with the benefit of a walk in wardrobe and en-suite from the master bedroom, full sized single beds in the second bedroom and another generous bathroom. Kitchen was well equipped, including a dishwasher and washing machine. Huge patio and separate private Astro grassed area secure for dogs.

The iron provided wasn’t working and so we logged this with reception however we were told that as this was provided by the lodge owner and not Newman Holidays, they couldn’t help us. This is definitely a flaw in their service offering, as a customer, booking with Newman Holiday and not direct with the owner, would expect this to be covered.

Nonetheless, we had a fab time, could not recommend the lodge highly enough and would definitely book again. If post arrival communication was improved and they had replaced the iron this would have been a 5 star review.

We had a lovely Easter break. Our lodge was beautiful and over looked the fishing lake which was tranquil. We have been visiting for over 16 years and have never been disappointed.

just returned from unity farm brean sands , from start to finish the communication was excellent , the caravan 126 a 4 bedroom was clean comfortable and spacious enough for a large family and dog , the garden was enclosed so no worries letting him out , the caravan heating was excellent , no complaints regarding accommodation , the complex (tavern)had excellent entertainment and food served was reasonable priced were unable to try out rjs as full from as early as 6pm all staff friendly and helpful

Come here for a rugby tour , huge club house but seats went early , immaculate site , great facilities my absolute go to in brean, shower wasn’t warming up it was sorted same day

Just came back after 12 days .The caravan I had A9 was beautiful .It was lovely and clean on arrival .Shame Rjs wasn’t open for the grandkids .Any problems Cilla and the other staff very friendly and will always sort things for you .I have booked lots of holidays through newsman’s for many years and always been excellent .Hopefully will be booking again soon .Thank you Cilla and the team at new man’s x

Recently just returned from a great weekend away at Ladram Bay Exmouth. The site is perfect and would highly recommend, we grew up there and will always return. First time booking a dog friendly caravan through Newmans though. Booking was easy and communication was clear. I added linen a day before arrival at a cost of around £50. I expected towels to be included in this price and for all beds to have been made up on arrival. I was disappointed to see that this was not the case and the linen was still in the bags on each bed, no towels were included. I was also disappointed in not finding any complimentary toilet roll on arrival. I understood this to be of standard practice.
Popped the kettle on which kept cutting out and not boiling properly so we had to use the microwave on occasion and the utensil drawer had rust stains in it which had spread all over the knife/forks and spoons. We had to clean these all before use. The cheese grater was something else! Still had food in it and was ridiculously rusty. The cord to kitchen blind was missing so we had to manually roll it up and down each day, the cord in the bathroom had snapped on the blinds and the one in the toilet had also broke previously. It’s just little things that you expect to be there or to be cleaned/fixed in advance that dampened the mood on arrival which all could have been prevented. Location of the caravan was perfect sea views accompanied by stunning sun rises. Will certainly return in hope that the above issues would have been resolved.
