I purchased an occasion outfit for my son's baby dedication and was disappointed with the quality when it arrived. The fabric felt much poorer than expected, but due to the limited time before the event, I was unable to return it.

Unfortunately, the outfit ripped during the occasion while being worn normally, which was both embarrassing and upsetting on such an important day. I contacted customer service to explain the issue and was informed that because the item had been worn for its intended purpose, I was only eligible for a 10% refund.

I find this response disappointing. An outfit costing £19.99 should reasonably last longer than a single wear, especially when used appropriately. While I appreciate that worn items cannot usually be returned, products should still be of a quality that allows them to withstand normal use.

To improve, the company should review its quality control processes and consider handling genuine quality-related complaints with greater flexibility and fairness. A more customer-focused approach in situations where products fail during normal wear would help build trust and confidence.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

I recently received the suit I ordered for my son and it arrived yesterday. I am very pleased with the quality, fit and overall appearance. The ordering process was easy, and the delivery was prompt.
Because I am so happy with my purchase, I am looking to order two more suits for my boys. I would happily recommend this online store to my friends and family and will definitely shop here again.

The staff were really supportive when l ordered with them & shared alternative suits that l could consider. I’m very pleased with the order l got for my son. It certainly is good value for money. I will order from this shop again.

Amazing company with great communication, The first suit i got for my son was too small , I’d sent it back on the thursday and had the bigger size sent out and received by the monday , The suits are absolutely beautiful , Very good quality at a great price , Can’t recommend these enough, Very happy with my purchase :)

Ordered a boys suit from this company. Received email confirmation to say order complete, money taken from my account. Then the following day received tracking information, tracked 48hrs and tracking number.

Waited 2 weeks no suit arrived. Checked tracking which stated that the seller had still not sent the item to royal mail.

Sent an email to company asking what was going on. Received an quick reply from them saying the suit was now out of stock and they would be getting more in stock in 2 months time.

This was no good as needed much sooner. After asking for full refund I was offered a similar suit and 10% refund. I declined the offer as really needed the suit ASAP and lost trust that the new suit would arrive on time.

Money processed back into my account quickly. But only 2 stars as I feel their communication could have been better, why didn't they contact me to let me know it was out off stock instead of me having to chase them? What if I just waited it out would I have waited 2 months for suit to arrive? Do better occasionwear!

Company was fast at communicating, they did not have a size I had ordered they was great at finding a solution and was prompt at sending the suits after I had given my request. Great suits and fast delivery! Prefect thank you

Placed an order for a men’s suit on Sunday at 23:53 with next day delivery. Because of the bank holiday weekend, I wasn’t expecting it until Wednesday anyway, which was absolutely fine.

What wasn’t fine was receiving an email at 12:11 today saying my order had been processed and completed, only to then get another email at 16:06 saying the trousers were actually out of stock. They offered the next size down, a different suit, or a refund, but why wasn’t this flagged before the order was supposedly “complete”?

It’s left me in a difficult position as I needed the suit for this weekend. The only positive is that the refund was processed straight away, although I now have to wait 24–48 hours for the money to go back into my account.

Really disappointing experience and unfortunately not somewhere I’d order from again.

Awful service - ordered a christening outfit for Saturday delivery, paying £8 for the privilege. At 16:15 on a Friday night, this company emails saying out of stock and offering me the size below?! Zero apologies for letting us down. Then to add insult to injury, then had emails saying dispatched on next day delivery! Unbelievable shambles. Avoid and use an alternative instead, we did and they were fantastic in saving the day.

Absolutely brilliant experience with Occasional Wear for Kids from start to finish. I accidentally ordered the wrong size suit, but the customer service team were amazing and made the return process completely stress-free and easy.
The quality of the suit honestly blew me away — far better than you’d expect for the price. Everything looked smart, well made, and felt really premium without the huge price tag.
It’s rare these days to genuinely enjoy doing business with a company, but this whole experience has been fantastic. Friendly, helpful service and excellent products. I wouldn’t hesitate to order again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for kids’ occasion wear.

Bought my little girls baptism dress from here , quick delivery and the dress was beautiful exactly how it looked on the pictures.

Often online stores don’t value their customers, but this company answers my email query promptly, sent out my order swiftly and issued a refund for the items I decided not to keep due to ordering lots of choices, in a timely manner. Their customer service team were friendly and professional. I would definitely order from this company again - highly recommend!

Amazing quality suits . Ordered some for my two boys ready for a wedding , accidentally ordered the wrong color . Contacted customer services in which they responded incredibly fast and arrange return labels for a quick return/swap . Can’t recommend enough :)

Suits exchanged in a short space of time and shipped out same day after stressing, nothing was an issue for them, suits are lovely quality, I did need to size up due to trousers being a little tight! But other than that if I had ordered correct size everything is spot on. Thank you so so much

Ordered Boys 5 Piece Navy Romario - 13-14 Years suit for my son on Monday night and it was delivered by Royal Mail on Thursday. Excellent quality and fantastic price.

Suits have arrived 11 in total. All fit apart from two pairs of trousers (people thinking they are slimmer than they are. Including myself) but OWFC have been amazing about exchanges and have had amazing customer service! Can’t fault them, great quality and great fit at good prices. The website doesn’t show an adult size guide as their adult range is limited. Trousers are measure by waist size only. When asking about the leg length they kindly went and measured the ones I needed and let me know the leg length to ensure I ordered the right size. I did however have a jacket missing but mistakes happened and it was a big order with very different sizes both adults and kids. but they sent out a new one straight away. No fuss, no stress great customer service. Stayed in contact the whole time. The suits look great. Cannot fault this company!

Honestly can not thank this company enough! After being let down for my boys original suit for his prom I ordered from these guys late Monday night and then emailed them Tuesday morning asking a big ask if they could get it to me for Wednesday and with a quick response from them it was shipped that day! Arrived today ( Wednesday ) and iv got to say for the price of the suit I ordered the quality is absolutely fantastic! I will certainly be ordering again when needed! Thank you guys for the absolute top service!
