This is an awful company. I had fraud charges on my account and they wiped the account clean. Without the charge information I was unable to fill out their fraud form.
They were unhelpful. Basically non- responsive.

I received this prepaid scam from metro by T-Mobile first I got scammed $1100 from a metro by T-Mobile store then got half my money back in cash and the rest on this scam card here. I used it to check in a holiday inn and suites booked online then when I checked in they charged me again reversed the charge and these lowlifes won't put the money back on my card even had manager call reversed the charge they just won't do it they are scammers I can't believe T mobile is affiliated with this company makes me want to find another carrier period. This company is down right dirty and t mobile better realize that real quick stop issuing cards through them ... Bad business
ONBE FINANCIAL REFUSE TO COMPLY WITH FEDERAL LAW
Had a malfunction with ATM that I was charged for money not received and submitted discrepancy per their instructions and called in to get an update and was told they never received the report I sent when I had confirmed they received it the next day. They refuse to launch an investigation like they are required by law upon learning about the malfunction ATM I reported immediately. They allowed my withdrawal attempt amount of $63.50 post to my account as if I recieved the money in which I did not and sent a photo of the ATM recipient of failed transaction and ignore my issue and not doing anything at all about resess olve in this matter and have complaints filed multiple times about this company being held accountable for neglect of what they was intrusted to do because that is the business they are in, but not follow the federal guidelines and laws that enforce this type of unfair business incompetent practice and I would press charges on them if possible for ignoring my reports in this matter. I would rate this company a negative 10 if I could!

There are a lot of horror stories on here about Onbe. I think mine takes the cake…
I have HPI and HPE spiff Mastercards, both had money on them. The cards get stolen and I call them on 6/15/25 to report the cards stolen, and to get new cards issued. New cards are sent out, and I deposit new funds, and am waiting for my old funds to carry over. Not only do my funds not carry over from the old cards, the new funds are not on the cards.
Over the next two months I spend several hours over at least 10 separate phone calls trying to get to the bottom of this. I speak to various people in an overseas call center that can't explain what is happening. Every time I ask to speak with someone in the US that can fix this, they inform me no one in the US I can speak to. After two months, one of these people sends me the statement of charges on both cards and I can see what happened.
Instead of cancelling the cards, and carrying funds over to the new cards, along with the new deposits, they left the cards active and deposited the new funds to the cards that were stolen. Worse still, the fraudulent charges that cleared out all the original money and later deposits happened 1-2 months AFTER I cancelled the cards. Also, all these charges happened in another state, and were clearly fraud that any Mastercard issuer should have picked up on if there were actually doing fraud prevention.
When I called them back for the 11th or 12th time to explain this, they told me I had to fill out a fraud claim - on cards I cancelled more than a month before the fraud occurred. I asked for the phone number of the fraud department - like every other Mastercard or Visa issuer has, and was told they don't have one, and I would have to mail something or fax them. I asked them why a bank issued card doesn't have a fraud number to call, and they told me they aren't a bank (they are a bank).
I don’t know if I'll get my money back, but I will sure reach out to HPI and HPE to let them know what kind of crooks are running their spiff program. Also, I'm pretty sure none of this adheres to their ToS with Mastercard, but we'll find out when I call them.
If you work for a company looking to issue spiff or gift cards DO NOT use Onbe, North Lane or Sunrise Banks (their various pseudonyms). They are crooks and terribly incompetent; it will end badly for you if you use them.

Scammer outfit hired by Lowes to rip off their own customers. This particular scam involves issuing a debit card instead of sending a rebate check. 1st, the card has an expiry date of 4-6 months. After that you are ripped off for the balance. 2nd, they offer you a digital card or physical. DO NOT take the digital. It is nothing more than a card number, CVV and expiry date. Most important - it is not accepted by any main stream merchant, not even Lowes. 3rd, there are about 5 pages of fine print that say things like, if the card stops working, it will cost $12.95 to get it replaced and their are various inflated fees to use it in another country, at an ATM, etc. The idea with this scam is to make it really hard to use your money. The third party scammers get to keep any of the money that isn't spent. I'm surprised that Lowes would associate themselves with this kind of grift.

Avoid this company, I got given employee rewards and I choose to have the money on a prepaid debit card this company provided. The pre-card was NOT accepted everywhere so was not able to use the money before card expiry date, they do not notify you and after 60 days your money balance disappears.
They've cancelled the same subscription…
They've cancelled the same subscription 8 times for no reason, randomly, with no warning & no response & they take days or weeks to respond & in some cases, they haven't responded at all, even after finally fixing it. My life is falling apart, I just needed this one thing THAT I PAID FOR, & they're taking it away again, presumably just to hurt me.
Maybe someday, they'll give it back again so they can take it away again next month or or 7 months later. There's no excuse & no motive. It's just evil. They know it's me because it's a monthly subscription. I've told them that countless times & yet they keep torturing me.
I did get a response 2 days ago but they completely ignored my problem to tell me they found some purchases as if that's what I asked for because they didn't even read any of my messages. Also, the purchases in question were previously unreported fraudulent ones that they decided to just unblock & expected me to be happy about it. So I'm down $38 & can't get a response about that either.
I'm sick of living this way. I lack the words to express how much I hate humanity.

This company allowed fraud to happen on my card before I even received it and then has had me jumping through hoops to retrieve the funds. I filed the first fraud claim in October... It is now January and they have just requested that I fill out a 3rd one. They are rude, talk over you and lack empathy.

I received this "gift card" from a software vendor, Intuit, and fully expected to use it.
not only will my local country stores not accept it but even the US and UK stores/sites reject it.
I am so dismayed that my trusted software vendor has been duped into believing it is a helpful solution.

The 2-3 day response time fill out this form for customer service (or sales inquiries for that matter) in lieu of a phone call is truly for the birds. In this day and age if you want to go all digital, fine, you best have a quick response time during business hours, or you can just be Onbe and let it take days.

This is a warning to all not to make a mistake I did by trusting my money with Prepaiddigitalsolutions.com scammers (also known as Onbe.com and Prepaidcardstatus.com according to their terms and conditions).
I had nothing but issues with them from the start. Redeeming my gift card from Sendoso.com became a nightmare. I have no idea if they own that too (if not - why would anyone partner up with this company is beyond me).
Lets start with the beginning.
Their virtual Mastercard is good for nothing, as most of services I've tried paying with it - declined it.
As for a physical card - I was waiting for 3 months to receive it. They claim they have shipped it with postal service, that according to them, should take 30 BUSSINESS days to deliver a single card. THATS INSANE! I get my parcels from China faster then that!
On top of that they failed to provide any evidence they actually shipped it, or guaranty you'll receive it (no tracking number was provided or anything).
Their Customer "support" provided no solutions - apparently they can not refund my money back to bank account, because my Mastercard "doesn't allow that". And when I asked about card replacement, they issued it and told me to wait for 30 more BUSSNESS days... So in total, I could not use my funds for almost 6 months!
Their customer support is worthless as the company they work for - no solutions offered, rude and respond only when you start loosing your patience completely...
Last incident - I can no longer even log in to my account, because I no longer receive their verification codes my email. And since their online "support" is available ONLY when you log in - there is NO WAY FOR ME TO GET ANY ASSISTENCE!
Sent them multiple emails, but only get bot like templated responses. Eventually they stopped replying with them as well.
I no longer expect to regain access to my account & my money... I have no idea who regulates their "service", as otherwise I would file a formal complaint or involve legal actions.
AVOID THEM AT ANY COST!
