Terrible company and unfair appeals process. I am now being threatened to pay a £60 fine for a one minute temporary stop to read their sign as I didn't know it was private parking and there was only one way to turn around, which was to continue down the street and exit that way. It is a custom designed trap. If I appeal to POPLA then I have to pay £100 if that is unsuccessful. Shameful company.

I parked for about 2 minutes without getting out of my car. Even had my emergency lights on as I was checking where to go on my phone. I appealed and was unsuccessful. I find charging someone for 2 minutes is too much!

I went to Llangrannog with 2 disabled family members. We used the car park for an hour. It was a blustery wet late afternoon. The car park was empty. I didn't notice any signs saying I needed to pay. We have 2 blue badges. On returning home, I find we have a fine of £100 for not paying for parking. Since when did people have to pay to park in tiny places out of season? The world's gone mad!

The worst parking ever. Absolutely no visible signs! Working just to charge penalties!

Do not use this app, it adds a full stop to your number plate then they say that you paid for a different car without the full stop!!!!

unfortunately this company does not have a shred of consideration for the human being, I believe that you do not even analyze the appeal of the person in question.. answer is always does not seem until a pre-written letter only forward! I proved in the appeal that the space I was fined for was 50cm smaller than the others and that I have a small baby and I wouldn't be able to get him out of the car! The fine is super unfair! I'm a single mother of 3 and I can't pay this unfair price! You didn't even answer my question why the marked space was smaller? I'll look for my rights! Please find another way to pay your wages not by stealing!

I should have read the reviews before I parked. The pop pay parking app is a scam. You think you’ve paid and then you get a £100 parking fine through the post ! It’s a disgrace and they should not be able to operate in this way !

Worst designed app in the world. Charged my wife twice….again.
App features are quite poor, no option to pay with ApplePay.

One parking solution is absolutely not interested in parking, it is only interested in grabbing penalties, the registration process of their parking machines at Vantage Point, Brighton, BN1 4GW is a disgrace. It took me up to 20 minutes to get parked( for this I got £100 penalty), read their terms and conditions and down load their payment app once I could get signal/connection. Rejected one of my payment cards for no reason it finally took my payment. It is intentionally slow to trap first time users and grab/steal £100 at a time. It took them over three months to even notify me of the penalty.
DO NOT USE ONE PARKING SOLUTION!!!
To all those that have been scammed by them report them to your local council/newspapers/Facebook or by any other means so as to protect any other unsuspecting people who just want to park so as they can work, shop or whatever.

Complete sharks. I spent 7 hours parking in Brighton paying £13.90 and yet recieve a parking fine notice for £100.

Had an issue with the app, genuinely thought I had paid for parking but hadn’t- so understand a fine, but £60 for not paying for 2 hours of parking is extortionate. Greedy people.

So I received a PCN asking me to pay £100 for ignoring a first PCN which I never received. Also I did not see any ticket on my car at the said date and time they are alleging. They have included on there that you can view more photos of your contravention which is nearly impossible as i have tried several times and not been able to. I also think this company needs looking into.

I paid for my parking and 6 months later received a letter telling me I had gone over my time. Despite me asking, they have provided no proof of this. Just showed times of my car entering and exiting the car park. Not showing the times I paid for. Which I know was within the time frame. HOWEVER, I can't check the app that I was forced to download, as it has been too long and they don't keep the records that far back. Absolute farce. Now because I asked for this additional information I would have to pay the full £100 rather than the reduced fee. These parking firms are absolute cowboys employing scare tactics and gunning on people not having the time or money to fight them. Absolute disgrace.

Toss pots, get real jobs instead of conning decent people who work hard, unlike the owner of this company. Send who you want round and I will knock ‘em out, your scum bags. Not paying, what your doing is illegal and I will prove it in court, TOSSERS

Like many others I felt that I had to add my views on One Parking Solutions.
My reason for providing comments is based upon parking at Shoreham Airport to visit a venue named the Hummingbird Café where you can watch the arrival and departure of light aircraft.
The parking is on private land and not the public highway.
What was supposed to be a reasonable day out cost wise with friends became an expensive event on top of the cost of what was actually a reasonable parking fee.
My parking contravention was “ Failure to Park Within a Marked Bay “, in fact my front wheels were just over the white line of the marked bay, I had parked further forward as there was very little space behind the car for pedestrians and then the road that was behind my car, so I parked in the way I did from a safety point of view.
Needless to say an £80.00 Parking Charge Notice appeared about a week later, like many before me I did appeal where I was shown many photos of my contravention, I gave what I considered fair and factual reason for my actions, and the fact that I was not parked across another bay or blocking other vehicles, needless to say my appeal was rejected and in the end I paid the £40.00 reduced rate to just get the matter settled and avoid any court actions.
At the end of the day the signage does effectively say you must park within the confines of a marked bay, so I am not arguing with that.
I have no problem in having controls on parking to make things fair for all who want to use the facilities and park their vehicles on private land, but sometimes a bit of discretion and common sense can go a long way.
So a word of advice if you do park at the location I mentioned above make sure you park within the bay and clearly display your ticket and take a few photos of your vehicles location just in case. Also look at the signage, but don’t take too long otherwise you will go past your grace period to buy a ticket and no doubt that will incur a fine as well.

THIS COMPANY ARE A JOKE , I GOT FINED DUE TO HAVING TO DOWNLOAD THE APP TO PAY IN A BAD RECEPTION AREA , THEN I HAD TO SIGN UP AND ENTER PAY DETAILS ETC , BUT BECAUSE I SLIGHTLY WENT OVER THE 10MINS GRACE I STILL GET FINED EVEN THOUGH I PAID FOR MY PARKING, THEY ARE EVIL SCUM , AT XMAS TOO IN THE CURRENT FINANCIAL CLIMATE , ID UNDERSTAND IF I DIDNT PAY BUT I DID AND 10MINS IS NOT ALWAYS ENOUGH TIME FOR A NEW CUSTOMER DOWNLOADING THE APP AND HAVING TO SIGN UP. They are cheater and thief I was doing a delivery took me 10 minutes Parking they give me hundred pound the nearest parking, it’s 2 miles away to Cary two seater settee through the new flat. I think they are joke and no one should pay for them and let them take us to courts.

This firm is just a greedy money making machine. Their operatives are rude and unhelpful. I went to park in a place where I have been going for many years. It has always been free if you have a blue badge. Unbeknown to me the parking charges had changed and you now had to pay even with a blue badge. These changes were NOT clearly marked. I would have paid had I know. When I questioned the operative he said, "read the sign" and then when I questioned him he said "it gives me pleasure to give you the ticket. Very expensive hour. I have just appealed successfully a second time in a couple of months regarding the parking fines at Manor Parade car park and I would urge everybody who gets caught by their cameras at this car park to appeal as there is something wrong with their cameras. They need to make sure their cameras are correct.
