Dreadful unhelpful unprofessional experience with OPUS over a prolonged period. Unexplained inhouse account adjustments, not transparent. Emailed enquiries went unanswered and are now being deleted upon receipt without being opened.

I have bad experience. I just took over a business couple of months ago and I give the meter reading date that I enter. Are you by mistake wrong date then after I called them I change the date but they said we can change the date and they charge me £6500 and because of the wrong date they charging me 6500 for old tenant they only returning 4000 I’m trying to contact them many times try to explain they don’t listen is very bad company. I’m just trying to understand when is I’m taking over an opus energy billing me six thousand five hundred for the same date same meter reading opus energy returning other person four thousand pound exactly same date for me to reading this is a rip off company.

Rachel Poulter was very very good, she took all my details down and said the system was down but she would ring me back, she rang within 10 minutes and sorted my issue out, She was 10 out of 10 and more

I don't understand why the company always makes mistakes and takes more money! However, they never make mistakes when it comes to withdrawing money from our accounts! I am glad that this company will be eliminated forever.

Dreadful company. Supplied the electric when we moved into our premises. The rates were outrageous. When we moved to a supplier with more reasonable rates they messed up our estimated bill meaning we owed hundreds of pounds unexpectedly. Then after inviting us to pay it in three instalments they passed the account to a debt collection agency! I just paid it in full and will never deal with Opus again.

An error occurred when our meter was swapped over to a smart meter.
This error was spotted and very quickly corrected by Nadir, who was polite and re-assuring throughout the complete process.

Opus Energy owes us a pathetic amount of money from an overcharge, and after months of chasing them, they still haven't refunded us! Every time we contact them, they dish out a new excuse, dragging this process on and on. If you're thinking of using Opus Energy, don’t! Their so-called "cheaper" prices are a trap—they’ll make you suffer when you try to leave. This company is nothing but cheeky and dishonest, and I deeply regret ever trusting them. Save yourself the pain and go with a bigger, reliable supplier!

I would never use Opus again as their systems need some serious updating, however, luckily for them they have very patient customer service operatives who help manage the pathway until the contract comes to an end.
