Orbit Translation Reviews 

In the end we got we needed. In fact it took 3 days and an emailed request to receive it. Was only one page. We were told this was due to the weekend but on the website it doesn’t say that anywhere and in fact it says 24 hour guarantee. Once sent our document there was a spelling mistake which we had to ask for a corrected version. Not upfront about turnaround time and proofreading seems mediocre. Was given a 15% off code for the inconvenience but all we really wanted was a service that delivers on what the advertised.

I paid for translation services on 08/03/2022. Today it is 08/08/2022. I have been messaging them for 3 days now, trying to call them. They would either say to wait an hour, or they would stop responding in the chat. I don't know if this is a scam or if they are having some sort of huge issue within their organization. All I am saying is that if they cannot provide services, they need to shut down.

I pushed to get my translation expedited, and received it an hour after this initial review. It seems that they may be understaffed or may have an unusually high volume of work. I changed my score from a 1 to a 3, because they did attempt and succeeded in helping me.

The Orbit Translations team was helpful and professional. The translation of my documents took longer than expected - perhaps due to the language pair (Latin to Russian) - but Charlene helped to facilitate the process, accommodate changes that I needed to the translations, and ensure that I received them in a reasonable time. The notarized translations were accepted by my university, so I am satisfied with the results! Thank you for your service!

Charlene went above in beyond when I have a few issues with my translation and original document that had the wrong information.

3 days and not delivered yet. We sent a translation request 3 days ago for 2 pages to be translated from French to English and nothing has come back yet. No answer to the chat during business hours. After calling and being on hold for a long while, we were promised a delivery yesterday...but nothing. So far, I cannot recommend the company. I will reassess after I see the product.

Edit: After accusations from the company that my review was not genuine (and reporting my review), I am providing the order number here. Order # 18861.
Overall I would say the quality of the translation is good, but the customer service or deadline management is not up to par. These should be equally important for a company caring for its customers and hoping they come back...This is why I am not upgrading my rating.

Their website states “ Our standard turnaround time for document translation for up to 6 pages is 24 hours.” yet could not deliver on time when I requested 2 page translation. Sent an email and no response. Their live chat states they typically respond within a few minutes but no response AT ALL. I’ve finally spoke with someone on the phone and hopefully my order will come though, but my initial impression of this company is not good at all.

Update: My order was completed and they provided a courtesy partial refund.
