Wow!,…. Actually thought I’d be in the minority,… read reviews next time I think,… lesson to self!…. Awful service offered and ended up spending near on £60 for a family of four to then, use my own car to travel to London. Customer services haven’t replied - please!,… Come On!

I was traveling alone from Thornhill Park and Ride to London but became quite ill in the bus and had to get off at Hillingdon to get the coach back to Thornhill and it was nearly 8 pm and raining, I was really worried as it was dark and I am not familiar with the area. I told the driver I was not well and had to turn around and asked where the bus stop is to return to Thornhill but he was very rude and dismissive and gave a very vague direction and caused me to miss the next bus. I am appalled for the driver's attitude. Imagine if your family stranded while unwell, you would want people to be helpful. Disgraceful, it actually doesn't take a lot to be a descent human being. I am very disappointed.

Very disappointed with the service recently. No busses! I suppose the bus drivers shortage. Long wait in the rain at the Hillingdon stop to Oxford from 8 pm to 8.45 pm, only one bus came already full. Luckily, the second came in 10 min. Last week two full busses came to Hillingdon stop, could take only the third bus, which was also completely full but managed to find a place. The whole wait was around 1h 30 min in the evening. It never happened before! The service was quick and comfortable. Please, take more drivers and run more busses! Thank you!

Went to London for a concert with my 16 year old daughter. To cut a very long story short we ended up stranded in the middle of London in the small hours due to the bus stop being ‘closed’ despite being told by the Oxford Tube driver that we needed to get the bus back from there. (There was absolutely no indication on the stop that it had been temporarily closed) My daughter and I ended up having to get an Uber back to Oxford with 4 other people who had also thought the bus was running from that stop. We got back at 4 in the morning having cost us a fortune as we had also by then missed the connecting bus back to our home town. I emailed a complaint and after I hadn’t heard for 3 weeks I called, was told to call back in a week, called again and spoke to a lady who made all the right noises but has obviously done nothing. She said she would try to get me a refund on my ticket as I didn’t use the return.
Awful company, clearly doesn’t give a damn about its customers. Won’t ever be leaving myself and daughter vulnerable like that again.

I can confirm like the other reviewers above that I booked online via them and there was no clear message from them that showing the ticket on your phone was not valid and that only printed paper tickets were. The bus driver on the way back from Oxford to London couldn't speak properly and despite me showing a pdf of my e-ticket and also the email initially refused to allow me on until someone else just walked past me and demanded to be allowed in. I later complained to Oxford Tube by email and only then did they tell me that only paper tickets are required. As other reviewers have said that means they make money by you paying twice for a ticket, the first time when you buy online and then when you don't have a paper ticket you have to pay again on the spot. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

If you buy a ticket online, they demand that you print out a *physical paper copy*, having it on your phone is not allowed. This is totally unique to the Oxford Tube, no other service has this ridiculously inconvenient system.

When I arrived without a paper ticket, the driver berated me for not printing it out, and went on to give a nonsense argument about how this is the only system that could possibly work. He also claimed that "we tell you three times to print a ticket out" - sure, in the small print on the ticket, but who reads the small print of a ticket? They don't warn you of this when you buy the ticket.

I had to go find the closest public library and print a ticket out before travelling. I wasn't the only one, there was a whole group of us. We were all totally baffled at this madness.

I will not be taking the oxford tube again.

Terrible systems and customer service. Buy your ticket online and they won't accept it unless printed out. Of course they don't tell you that when you buy. So you just have to pay for a new one at the bus. Driver supremely uninterested. Then the refund website doesn't work. 19th century systems, customer service from the dark ages.

the driver was rude, misrable, argumentive and disrespectful while buying a ticket to go to London with my daughter the driver accused me of going to leave my daughter on the bus on her own while I was in london which I was shocked, mortified and appalled about witch I would never do, when getting of the bus in London he was giving information about where to go to stop for a bus back he didn't even acknowledge me once while talking to me and other passengers

How dare you?
The earth is sick and you require us to print the ticket out?
Do you know how many trees have been cut down because you require passengers to print out their pdf ticket?
I think global warming is getting worse because of Oxford tube.
C'mon, it's 2022 already, why can't you just accept the pdf ticket on my phone?

2022 and they expect a printed PDF. Do they expect their customers to visit the local library in advance of travelling? Ridiculous. Happy to sell you a new ticket if you haven't wasted the paper on a print out though.

Excellent, convenient and frequent - the oxford tube is a reliable and relatively inexpensive way to take trips to London, especially if you need to get to Oxford Street or further out.

Has air conditioning as well as an extra plus, especially during the hot summer we just had.

Exact same experience as snozdop's review below. Do not buy tickets online, it is a complete con and should not be legal. The coach was nice otherwise but this scummy practice must be put to a stop...

Was asked to wait whilst everyone boarded as they were more of a priority - that’s what the driver told me. Meanwhile, I was the first at the bus stop, waited over 15mins and willing to pay the whole fare (even though I getting off the next 3 stops) and I just watched him board others who were not travelling to the last station. I guess my journey and the purpose of me leaving my home wasn’t that of importance as regards to other travellers. Awful!

No information on where to get the bus from

Absolutely dreadful experience! The service was busy due to strike action so understand there may be some problems. However we waited a Thronhill park and ride for 2 and a half hours but 13 buses came past which were all full. No attempt was made to try and alleviate the situation and communication was none existant. Feel like they should have planned for this event given it was surely forseeable and should not have sold tickets which they knew they would be unable to fulfill. Meant I could not get to a theatre performance as planned costing me a not trivial amount of money. Feel scammed and would not use again! I feel selling tickets for a set time would be useful as this would stop this issue from happening in future

Due to late, full and bus issue We were ao late with our appointment which cost us a lot of money. Announcement should have been made to make passengers aware of the issues so alternative arrangement could have been made. We waited almost 2.5 hours to catch a bus to Victoria from Thornhill.

Despite being purchased electronically, and then supplied electronically as a PDF in an electronic email, you're expected to have a printer with you so the tickets can be printed to physically give to the driver - and he won't accept the exact same electronic document they supply from your phone screen! Totally ridiculous! It's 2022! There is no actual reason for this other than to deliberately catch people out and force them to buy tickets a second time.

Sorry, but I don't usually carry a printer around with me when travelling, so I had to pay another £70 for our family's tickets on the bus. Every other travel company I've used seems to do just fine with electronic tickets.

On the plus side, the driver was polite and helpful (even though he couldn't/wouldn't accept the tickets I'd paid for), and the bus was nice and modern.

Just don't buy tickets from their website.

We are backing in Oxford,after a beautiful day in the city.At first when we took the bus in London the travel was ok!!But then for the return absolutely terribold,I'm freezing, and also I have a terribold headache.TERRIBOLDDDDDDD EXPERIENCE!!

Was waiting in the bus stop and because another bus had just arrived the bus driver decided not to stop. Therefore I missed the bus to Victoria. Thank you bus driver that made my life more difficult
