Extremely Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Pay Weekly Carpets and would definitely not recommend them.

Initially, I chose carpet for my upstairs hallway and stairs, which they came and fitted. Unfortunately, the carpet did not feel properly secure or solid, after afew weeks,and was told thats how it is supposed to be fitted.

When they came to fit two bedrooms, I specifically chose the same carpet as my hallway and stairs. However, after fitting, I was told the carpet in both bedrooms were not the same as the hallway and stairs because apparently the original carpet was an "upgrade".

This made absolutely no sense to me, as I personally chose the carpet for my stairs and hallway in the first place. If this was supposedly an upgrade, I was never informed of this, nor was I told that the carpet I had originally chosen was no longer the same carpet being supplied. I feel this is something that should have been clearly explained BEFORE fitting, not afterwards.

The bathroom lino flooring also fitted was another disappointment. The cutting around the edges was horrendous, with the lino cut up the wall, i didnt see this until after they had left as they had thrown all the excess carpet and covering into the bathroom as we are to dispose of all excess which ther was alot, after all the stress and excuses, and told they would come to inspect in a month (not fix) that would be another date, I just ended up having to rectify it myself.

After spending over £1,000, I expected professional workmanship, decent communication and to be treated fairly. Instead, I was left extremely unhappy with the quality of the work and the way I was made to feel when I raised my concerns.

Eventually, I received a £100 refund, which I personally feel was absolutely disgraceful considering the amount I had spent and the problems I had experienced.
And now will be seeking a professional to fix my stair carpet overall probably costing me the £100 refund.

Overall, a very disappointing experience from start to finish. Poor workmanship, disappointing explanations and customer service that left me feeling completely let down. Not once was i given an apology...

I would not use Pay Weekly Carpets again and would strongly advise others to think carefully before choosing them.

The guy who fitted our carpet, called to tell us a rough arrival time. He didn't even stop for a drink, working from the moment he walked through the door.
The carpet looks amazing and is extra thick with the underlay. We are also pleased with the vinyl fitted in our hallway. Overall a really good company to deal with, made better by the fact that you can pay weekly for your carpet.

Got a floor off this company couple of years ago and everything was fine. But just received a washing machine that has a faulty plug and just seem to be passed about and noone wants to deal with it. Honestly the flooring is great but seriously think twice about appliances because noone wants to help being waiting over 2 months only for it to come faulty. So disappointed in the customer services with the washing machine its been more hassle than its worth.

Pay weekly is a fantastic service, ive used several times before and will continue to do so.

Excellent service, the guys were very pleasant and tidy, I absolutely love my carpet, will definitely recommend to friends and family.

The carpet in the hallway couldn't be fitted because it wouldn't fit underneath the hallway door. I suggest that when the carpets are measured they check the door clearance before the installation is booked

I have had a few carpets from these guys , it is so straight forward and easy to. The carpets are of good quality . The only thing I find odd is they don’t take away and rubbish or off cuts which is not a problem but would be nice to know .

Good products fitted on time and I must say Alex did a great job i can't fault anything.

Terrible customer service. The guy came out and measure etc but the style of carpet I like didn’t come in a big enough size so I looked at others to which I didn’t see one that I liked but I said to guy can I get back to you as I feel like am just picking something for the sake of it. Anyways he tells me am still due the £40 survey although I didn’t order the carpet, I have called numerous times as I believe I shouldn’t have been charged anything as it states a ‘no obligation fee and the measuring is free’ on the website but I have just been told someone will call me too which nobody has.

Appointment day, no show, waited a further 5 days for fitting whilst my whole kitchen was in my lounge, couldn’t cook, wash clothes, head office no help atall, not prioritising my visits, wouldn’t confirm yes or no if fitter coming, very poor procedures and customer service!

Excellent service installer pleasant and efficient.

Sales part was brilliant and no issues with the guy who came out for that but the fitting isn’t great.

Wasn’t happy with the wait! 3 weeks overdue and that’s the second time it’s happened to me

Easy manageable payments. Great customer service. Friendly and efficient carpet fitters. I will 100% be using Pay Weekly Carpets again. Very happy.
