A very well engineered product. I have a flange mounted tow hitch at the rear of my motorhome so I didn't require the addition brackets to clamp the ball. I chose the 10" Offset so that handle bars on a MTB clear the rear of my motorhome. When fitted everything it is rock solid.
I am very impressed with the buid quality too.

long term review of the Pendle tow bar hanging rack .. I have this rack for about a year, and although it works it has to be the worst bike carrier ive had , the way it fits to the tow bar via the orange screw nut clamps with the white bush .. is nothing but a massive pain .. the rack does not keep the bikes apart either so they clank together not good for high end bikes ...

to fit the rack to the car you need some spanners, and this takes time, not quick and easy, once the rack is fitted, I had to fit extra securing straps as the rack bounces and springs about a lot..

then for Pendle , they have no working phone number, the needed spares for this rack are always out of stock , they dont answer emails ...

so all in all .. after about a year of use, this has to be the worst rack in the world ..

Very well made product, strong and safe. Maybe a printed set of fitting instructions would help.

I received a replacement part of my bike rack free of charge as it was covered by the lifetime guarantee, and so I was happy with that. I was not so happy about the speed of response to my queries, as they stopped with no explanation and I had to chase it up.

Good bike rack. Complicated to assemble. Communication by email and phone messages not answered . Chat response pretty quick.

Trike rack is incredible

I have purchased a Pendle WT+ which arrived very promptly & packed in the best box / packaging I have ever received.
BUT the product is very very poor quality, the chroming is the worst I've ever seen & even some Chinese items are better.
The orange power coating / paint is very thin & there is no coverage in the joints where the tubes are welded to the square sections which means this rack will rust & look tatty very quickly.
Lastly beware as its very heavy and depending on your strength you may need to dismantle rather than remove in one piece,

Penske bike racks provided all information on line that I needed to know for my intended use. I have mounted the W2 rack separately from my ball hitch allowing me to tow a Bailey caravan at the same time with a Ford Ranger . With jockey wheel removed I can make tight turns with two claud butler adult bikes mounted on the rack. The tow bar is adjustable height type with a dropper plate fitted at top to which the Pendleton universal mount is attached . The Pendle rack is the only rack that fitted my needs.
The rack is well designed and manufactured to a high standard. I will be recommending/demonstrating this product to others who have a similar demands/needs

Solid piece of kit, delivered promptly

Happy with the bike rack and service. However the square rack kit that I ordered has threads that are too long such that they will interfere with loading the rack into the anodised mount. These will need cut. Looking at the website the top threads are shorter. Looks like they have forgotten to be cut.

As with my previous Pendle bike rack I am very impressed with my latest purchase. However, the documentation should be clearer in emphasising that with the universal block fitted to a detachable swan-neck towbar it is not then possible to use the tow ball (to tow a trailer, for example)
