We visited without an appointment into the Wolverhampton store, just planning a quick browse, and left completely blown away. From the moment we walked in, George and the team were friendly, professional, and completely pressure-free. We received genuinely experienced advice rather than a sales pitch, which gave us real confidence in committing to booking.

The quality of the suits and fair pricing sealed the deal, but honestly, it was the people that made the difference. A particular shoutout to George, whose knowledge and relaxed approach made the whole experience a joy.

We've already recommended this business to other couples getting married, and we'll continue to do so without hesitation. 10/10 — this kind of service deserves recognition.

We used the Birmingham branch to hire 4 suits for our wedding.
Very attentive staff, they were very thorough and offered lots of advice. We ordered 4 suits in all different sizes ranging from our 14 year old son to my 6 foot 3 husband. They had all sizes to try on and we were beyond pleased with the suits. The quality was top notch and they had lots of compliments on the wedding day.

Suits were sloppy no dressing in suits or shirts, nothing looked ironed.
Poorly fitted no adjustments made. Two suits had too short trousers and one jacket too big.
We have two more weddings but won’t be going back.

We used Stourbridge branch to hire suits for a wedding in sept 2025, We hired six suits in total and had no issues what so ever, they where very accommodating especially with issues to a member of the party having special requests due to illness. 10/10 would highly recommended.

Several of us rented suits from here for a wedding. Not only did they get them to us just a few days before, they got the wrong sizes for some of us AND messed up the ties. One person jacket and trousers sizes were reversed. My jacket and waistcoat was 2 sizes too small. Two of us received ties of one colour and several others were provided a completely different colour. On a side note, the suit I was originally provided with stank too! Do not recommend. Attended a number of weddings and never experienced such difficulty!

I would also add that the customer service has been abysmal. All they do is blame us. We didn't take the measurements, nor did we write them down. They had ONE job and they managed to absolutely screw it up. To blame the customer and, when trying to resolve it, laugh down the phone at us is absolutely disgusting.

DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! TOO MUCH RISK!

I first visited Peter Posh (Cheltenham) in January 2025. There, I quickly selected a suit and was assured that I would be able to pick up my suit the Tuesday before the wedding (the wedding itself being the 6th September and so should have been the 2nd September). This was the only time things went smoothly.

The issues from here were rather upsetting for myself and the bride. We made multiple phone calls asking when the suits would arrive and as both Cheltenham and Stourbridge branches promised Tuesday, we had made plans to deliver the suits to my groomsmen on Tuesday evening. Unfortunately, I work in the in a professional role and so I could not get any annual leave on the 3rd and 4th September which meant I was going to struggle to get the suits to the groomsmen to check if there were any issues.

The suits did not arrive Tuesday, and were not due to arrive until after 2PM Wednesday which is when I started work. This would have meant that I would not have been able to deliver the suits to the groomsmen until the 5th September which is when I was setting up the venue. Now, this is an issue as both branches promised a date which influenced my planning and then this promise was not met.

When we drove to Stourbridge, we noticed that we had the wrong ties.

We were told that the suits will be checked in the warehouse and at the store and so no mistakes would be made and we wouldn’t have to worry about sizing issues before the wedding. However, whilst in Stourbridge on the 3rd September, we noticed Mr. L’s had a size 36 around his waistcoat and jacket. He is a size 44 and 46 for both. The Stourbridge staff member assured us he had gone through the sizes and they were correct. I managed to arrive Thursday to Mr. M’s address Thursday midday. J said ‘I can’t even breathe in this’ and had on a size 40 around the waistcoat and jacket. He then had to request work off (works from home) and go in and it transpired he’s a size 44.

From there on Thursday evening I dropped Mr. W’s suit off and it appeared to fit. However the groomsmen noticed issues on the Friday however due to work/me setting up the venue/a lack of time they either couldn’t get these rectified or didn’t even see the issues until Saturday morning.

- Mr. H’s suit had a button hanging off.
- ⁠Mr. L’s trousers were actually 46. Peter Posh has clearly mixed up sizes between bottom and top half. L had to spend the entire wedding holding his trousers up.
- ⁠Mr. M as already described, had the wrong size entirely.
- ⁠Mr. W’s suit was unacceptable in every regard. He had chewed tobacco pouches on the inside of his pockets and he had visible stains all down the back of his waistcoat.

We returned to Peter Posh Cheltenham and evidenced the issues to which staff agreed with. We were offered a refund for the above suits and ties and £731 was agreed. We have since been informed Head Office has not authorised this.

We since have spoken to head office. Now, here’s the insult to injury. George from the Complaint’s Team stated it was our fault. He stated we should have asked our groomsmen to pick them up from Cheltenham on Tuesday (irrelevant as they didn’t arrive on Tuesday), and stated if we’d have asked, Peter Posh would have stayed open past opening hours Friday so we could change suits (we pointed out no normal person would request a whole store stay open past opening hours for them). He then stated he would refuse to take it higher as the Director had already reviewed the issue. We stated we knew this to be not true as Julie the day before when I rang Head Office stated we would not hear back this week as the Director was suffering a bereavement and so it wouldn’t be dealt with until then. George then began to laugh at us and when asked why this was funny said ‘you’ve called me a liar’ and continued to laugh at us. I personally don’t find it very funny that the wedding build up was ruined but George seemed to think otherwise.

Popped into Peter Posh Stourbridge this morning to hire a suit for my daughters wedding. Was met by a very friendly and knowledgeable "Colleen" who just couldn't do enough for us, Wow! she was absolutely brilliant and we got exactly what we were looking for. This girl needs a raise for the effort and enthusiasm she puts into her job. Well done Colleen, keep it up.

Service second to none, absolutely professional service. My son had an amazing prom and his suit looked amazing. The suit was clean and well prepared I was truly in awe. Service was exceedingly on point and I will be using Peter Posh time and time again. The attention from staff was very polite, professional and so helpful. If you ever need a suit, this is the place. A little bit pricey, but it is worth every penny. I was never disappointed.

Peter posh is fine if everything goes right but if it doesn't you as the customer are blamed for everything and they are faultless.

We paid well over a grand for all our suits, and on the whole we were happy with the suits, we had a pair of cufflinks missing, annoying but not the end of the world. However one of the suits was ridiculously big the jacket swamped him and the trousers were far too long. When I rang up I was basically told it wasn't their fault it was ours. If he was asked if he was happy even if it was too big why would they take it further? BECAUSE YOU ARE THE FITTERS!!!! If I was fitting somebody and saw the suit was too big I'd look for a smaller size, or was it fine on the day and just the suit he got was too big because they don't tell you what they are measuring. So I've marked them down for the damn awful customer service. They don't take responsibility for anything and their suits are WAYYYYY over priced. We could have brought suits of the same quality for a much cheaper price. Avoid Minworth branch at all costs!!!!! I'm also still waiting for a reply to my complaint I sent weeks ago

Peter posh in Cheltenham, we’re incredibly professional and catered to everyone on our needs for our wedding, the suits were perfect, beautiful and none the less nothing went wrong, everytime we called them they was helpful and nothing was ever a issue or too much for them. Everytime we went in they was super.
Our wedding suits were everything and more we could have wanted. We’d definitely recommend and be back.

My sons used the Stourbridge branch for tuxedo hire. I would highly recommend them. The fitting service was really efficient and orders were brought in as planned. One of my sons didn’t go to the shop for a suit until the day he needed to get one and he was accommodated perfectly. Coleen dealt with our fittings and orders and she was extremely helpful and professional, even assisting me with a personal issue which arose. This was super helpful to me. The shop is very pleasant and stock well displayed. Shopping there was a very pleasant experience and it is fantastically convenient to park there. All round five stars.

Tettenhall branch.
The team at the tettenhall branch have been superb for us from picking the suits for our wedding, to getting the groom party in a separate occasions for fittings. They all went out of their way to help via phone, email contact always very prompt.

Special mention to Ella who was really helpful and friendly with us, would highly recommend them and will be using them again for sure :)

My fiancé and I went to the Cheltenham store on Sat 18 Jan 2025 and ordered 5 black bow ties, 1 white shirt, 1 black trousers, 2 black braces and 1 black cummerbund. We paid in full up front, and were told deliveries are approx. 7 days.

We waited for a phone call or email, and hadn’t heard anything for 5 weeks, so I rang on Thurs 27 Feb 2025. They said everything was there except the trousers, and they’d call when they were in, so we could collect everything in one go.

We still had no phone call, so on Saturday 5 April (6 weeks later), my fiancé went into store. He was told everything was there in the stock room (despite no phone call or update), so brought the order back home.

When we checked, the 2 braces and 1 cummerbund were missing. My fiancé rang the store, who said we had been charged for them and they hadn’t realised they weren’t with the order (this seemed strange to us, to not check against the paperwork before handing the order over). My fiancé was told they would order these asap and send them to us.

This was confusing as we were told everything was there but the trousers, then the trousers were there, and apparently some of the other parts of the order were now no longer there..

We had no phone call again, so on Saturday 19 April, I went into the shop and they said the outstanding accessories weren’t there still and the latest on the paperwork was a post it note saying ‘order on Monday.’

I spoke to two members of staff who couldn’t give any update or reason why it has taken 3+ months for our order. For standard black stock, which we were originally told approx. 7 days (and this was confirmed again on Saturday that they have a 7 day delivery timeframe), has now been 13 weeks.

We are so disappointed and this has made the process of buying the grooms suit and groomsmen accessories very stressful, leaving us to constantly chase and wait, with no explanations.

We could have walked into Moss Bros, Slaters etc and bought some of these items on the day or with a much quicker turn around, and in hindsight we should of cancelled the order earlier and gone elsewhere.

Needless to say, we will be buying the grooms jacket and shoes from elsewhere, and not recommending the store to anyone who is looking for a suit, particularly with a date specific event

On hiring a black dinner jacket and trousers getting measured not shown the size written down and collecting the next day no checking when picking it up just shown the door thinking all would be ok night of the party putting the trousers on and finding the trousers 4 inches bigger than waist which on the night was unpleasant enough. And returned the clothing back next working day being told that was the size I ordered it wasn't me on the tape measure so £84 pound down the drain no refund given I could have a free one next time totally unacceptable staff dint want to do or talk about it so I will never tell anybody to go for a fitting there very poor customer service

Hired a blue Boscobel tuxedo from Peter Posh, could not have been happier with the professional service from caring staff, the suit was very comfortable to wear with many people saying how good it looked.

The choice of suits was great and the suits I hired was of good quality.
The customer service was great, the shop assistants were very friendly and knowledgeable.
