The customer service representative was very helpful and patient at explaining thenpolicies and how they work. We’ve used Nationwide in the past for pets bit she was able to explain how the policies have changed over the years.

Get pet insurance ASAP. As soon as you finish up your information on your pet. Like age, breed nation wide sent ur policy to your email and u can go get ur pet check on the same day.

Negative 100 stars I could! Stay away. So many exclusions. 7yr old French bulldog with aspiration pneumonia goes to ER. Won't pay for pneumonia treatment. Never was treated for a breathing issue in her whole 7 yrs that I had her. Got readmitted next day, zero payment because she's a French Bulldog. Surgery the next day to shorten palate - yes this is a French bulldog issue- zero payment. We weren't even sure this would fix the problem but it was probably contributory. My fault I didn't understand the policy 7 yrs ago. But a dog not breathing should have coverage no matter the breed and no matter what the possible 'hereditary' issues might be. Stable for 7 yrs doesn't matter. Dog and human tissues ages and gets floppy. They don't care. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLAN
