Great products, offers and customer service. I have shopped with them for years for all our pet supplies as they’re always consistent with the service they provide.

Pet Planet very helpful with their range of products and suggestions. Ferguson dog food is excellent. Full of protein low in carbohydrates. It has settled my dogs stomach and both dogs thoroughly this food. Strongly recommend.

Ordered loped. Had to follow up due to non delivery. Said must be lost in transit. Cancelled order and went elsewhere. This is second time this has happened to me. Never use them again.

Quite unfortunate that I've had to write up a review for this as I have mostly had a good experience with Pet Planet for over a year up until recently.

I ordered over 20 multi-pack boxes of Hills Science Plan Adult Cat food as they were discounted to £6.39 a pack on the 19th March (this will matter later). I thought it’d be a good idea to stock up due to the massive discount. It felt great to be a consumer!

The items arrived and I started packing the boxes away. I stored most of them and noticed the date at the bottom of the box to say “04/25”. The food was to expire the next month, and all 20 boxes had this date. Ah, it all makes sense why it was discounted, but there was no sign on the website that the product had an extremely close expiration date.

A bit annoying, but I contacted Pet Planet to return the items as I didn’t feel comfortable feeding my one adult cat expired food.

Pet Planet claimed that because the food is in date, I could return 18 boxes for a refund (I decided to keep two as I needed food for my cat). However, they said that I had to cover the cost of the return… which in my opinion seemed quite unreasonable as I had been mis-sold a product.

My partner called Hills to get their opinion, and they said that they were in the wrong and wouldn’t recommend feeding our cat the expired food. My partner then called up Pet Planet and they still felt they weren’t in the wrong but felt obliged to agree to cover the cost of courier to return the items.

Finally, I packaged up the items in two boxes (using one of the original boxes to pack 14 of the items). The courier arrived and said he only had one label for one parcel…

I contacted Pet Planet about this and they claimed that 18 of the items would have fit in one box! The order arrived in two!

Really disappointed with the customer service based on this experience. Unfortunately, they have lost a customer.

Wasn't aware of this company until I did a search for a specific product ( Glandex anal tablets for dogs) and what's more their price was very good.

Delivery was quick and what's more I discovered it's only 15miles away so a local company.

Quality products at competitive prices. Have used for well over 10 years and will continue to purchase these products and Kong extreme toys.
Customer service is excellent as they have always been polite and fair.

I ordered 6 bottles of cage spray. The first order was damaged so Evri couldn't deliver it. I requested a free replacement order which was sent with DPD but I have to say that I am not impressed with the response I have received over this issue. I would have expected the bottles to have been packed more securely the SECOND time, particularly as I had specifically asked for the bottle nozzles to be taped up - as mentioned in my telephone conversation & emails with/to Petplanet, the bottles were only placed in plastic bags loosely in a large box - no packaging to stop bottles moving about nor were the spray nozzles taped up. After having to go to the inconvenience of getting a neighbour to take pictures of the damage before they would do anything to compensate me, Petplanet would only
refund the cost of the one leaked bottle plus 5% (instead of a voucher) to my PayPal Account. I have to say, I am not happy about this & asked Petplanet to at least also refund the postage as I had to wait much longer for the delivery plus the fact that the DPD driver just left the box outside the front door upside down hiding the side of the box that was wet!!! Despite seeing, as a frail Pensioner, I was struggling to get the large box over the threshold, he just thoughtlessly walked back to his van! Not to mention the wet puddle on my wooden floor which took me over an hour to restore! Petplanet refused to refund anything further. This feels like exploitation for all the hassle I have endured following Petplanet's treatment.

Reliable fast service with good competitive prices

I find this site very good. The items contain a good description and there is a good variety. Delivery is good and the prices on site are competitive with others. My items arrived in perfect condition well packaged. I will shop here again for our cat and dogs items

The replacement dog door flap I ordered was broken when it arrived. Customer service asked that I send pictures which I did at approx 4pm by 7pm I had confirmation that a replacement had been dispatched. It arrived next morning before noon. Superb customer care. The only reason for not giving five stars is that the packaging, OK for display, but a bit lightweight for a courier company.

I am a fairly new customer of Petplanet. I am very impressed with the choice of products, the ease of using the website, the prices and the quick delivery. I will definitely be ordering from them again.

Regularly purchase cat litter and other items for my cat. Easy ordering, plenty of choice (often with offers available) plus loyalty points Quick delivery - free over a certain amount, and have never had any problems

Always great service from Pet Planet, I ordered at Crufts and as usual the delivery was superquick, the prices are good and all the staff helpful & friendly. Have used them for years and will continue to do so.

Pet Planet offers hassle free shopping experience. I am very happy I found them. They provide dog food that no other shop does. So I will remain a customer for sure.

I paid £9 for weekend delivery due to rescuing a hamster in a sorry state, so I needed food and substrate ASAP the hamster food was not packaged in a protective way and therefore completely smashed and split open by the 12.5kg bag of substrate. Lots of the food was completely crushed and because I had no idea how long it had been out of packaging I deemed it not fit for use.
I was offered a 50% refund or a replacement if I sent the hamster food back to them. They genuinely asked me to pick up all the loose hamster food from the bottom of a huge box, repackage it and send it back to them despite seeing the pictures. Honestly ridiculous and has put me off using them again. I now have a subscription with bitiba, much cheaper too :)

Ordered a replacement tray for my chinchilla’s cage (with £8.99 delivery for the weekend.)
Price of the tray was great, arrived on time and was well packaged.

I was lucky enough to win a £40 gift card for pet planet, so I treated my cat Olive to a new cat tower, the website it really easy to navigate, the product has a full description and measurements, and plenty of pictures of the products. When purchasing items you gain points which is always great 😊 the delivery was very fast and delivered by yodel, I got a 1 hour time slot which was handy. The cat tower was very easy to put together and was in purrfect condition. Will definitely be a repeat customer 😺

I've used Pet Planet on a few occasions. I often get items here for my dog that I struggle to get elsewhere. Service is always quick and well priced.
