As always, Phillips Law was professional, treated me as an individual and was sensitive to my needs.

On this occasion, Sian Lias was dealing with my will. She instantly understood what I wanted to achieve, even when some requirements were a little less straight forward.

I have known Phillips Law for well over 30 years and used their services multiple times. From wills to residential and commercial conveyancing, company purchases/sales and leases. They have been excellent throughout.

I have been using Lisa Rigby and her team Steph Statham, Catherine Killeen at Phillips Law & previously Brain Chase Coles to Buy and Sell properties mainly High Rise Apartments for over 15 years and I would thoroughly recommend the service they provide in navigating through all of the hurdles & Regulations involved these days in Buying and Selling High Rise Apartments.
My most recent Sale and Purchase were both in the Bournemouth area and I could have chosen some local Solicitors but I made the right decision in using Philips Law even though they are located quite far away in Basingstoke, that is testament to how good they are.

My wife and I both needed to create new Wills and had been recommended to use Sian Lias, Partner at Phillips-Law.
First impressions were excellent as it was easy to make an appointment and we were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived for our first meeting. We had our meeting with Sian who had Fazila Akhtar alongside her as trainee solicitor on her 1st day. Sian explained everything we needed to know about what to include in our Wills including considering 'a doomsday scenario' and what we would want to do if the worst ever happened. It certainly made us think carefully about who we wanted our estate to pass on to.
Following receipt of our draft Wills, we made a few amendments by email and once these were approved, we visited Phillips Law to duly sign our Wills.

All email correspondences were handled very efficiently and promptly by Fazila and we found the whole process was flawless.

I instructed Phillips for the sale of my shared ownership property. It has been a lengthy process (10 months) due to losing a buyer and my solicitor Lisa (and Claudia in her absence) has been nothing but great the whole time. Jon and his team have always been professional, quick to respond and there has never been any delays or issues due to them, it has always been the other parties solicitors holding things up when delays have happened. DIVORCE
My matter was dealt with efficiency and empathy and I felt well supported during the divorce process. Howard Gardener was exceptional and I felt incredibly fortunate to benefit from his experience. Howard's assistant, Kelly Geter, deserves recognition also.

Used Trish & Jakki for a house sale and they were brilliant! Always on top of the process from beginning to end, would highly recommend.

Everything was explained during the process and any queries answered. I felt confident that my requirements were met. Potential problems were highlighted for future consideration.

We have used Phillips a few times now. This time was for a remortgage and they were extremely good yet again. Catherine Killeen in particular was instrumental in driving the process forward and pushing our lender to move things along quickly. I would highly recommend them.

I have Power of Attorney for my father who is in care and his property needed to be sold to help with the fees. There were several issues that needed to be resolved prior to completion and I was kept informed of how these were progressing. When these had been resolved, the buyer wanted to complete very quickly. Thanks to Jackie and Catherine for getting the exchange and completion finalised in such a short time-frame

My late Father had chosen Phillips Law to draw up his Will, so who better to help me execute it?

My initial meeting with McBriggs Antwi‑Boasiako - 'Briggs' - was a revelation to this grieving son.

Briggs' knowledge and experience shone as he summed up my situation and then explained the procedures to obtain Probate. He quickly dispelled the trepidation I was feeling towards carrying out my task as executor.

From then on all communication was by email. Documents were scanned and passed between us as attachments. When necessary, I printed, signed, and returned them by post.
Given the very long travel distance between PL's office and my home this arrangement was extremely convenient.

I asked many questions along the way and Briggs always gave prompt concise answers.

The business is now concluded, to our mutual satisfaction - and my relief!
