My first NEBOSH course with Tony
This was my first NEBOSH course with Phoenix, and my experience was fab. I’ve recently finished the training for the Environmental Management Certificate led by Tony Rothwell, and I would highly recommend. Tony was very knowledgeable and helpful across all five days, and ensured the content was taught at a good pace for all the learners. Despite the natural barriers of an online course, Tony encouraged participation from the group and helped relate course content to our own experiences. All topics were explained in an in-depth but easy way to understand and included great examples to back up the content taught. A great tutor and all round wonderful experience with Phoenix. Thank you for the last week!

Environmental management with Tony
This was my second NEBOSH course with Phoenix, having already passed my first one with them — and once again the experience has been excellent. I’ve just completed the NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate taught by Tony Rothwell, and his delivery was outstanding. Tony was clear, concise and incredibly knowledgeable across every aspect of the course. He explained complex topics in a way that made them easy to understand, and his real‑world examples really helped bring the content to life.
The course was delivered online, and I know that half the group barely interacted and many didn’t even have their cameras on — something that would make any tutor’s job much harder. Despite that, Tony stayed positive, patient and fully engaged throughout. He kept the sessions flowing, encouraged discussion, and made sure those who were participating got real value from the training.
A genuinely excellent tutor and another great learning experience with Phoenix. Let’s hope I pass this one too.

Recently attended the General…
Recently attended the General Certificate NEEBOSH course, Stuart Woodland was the course instructor and his delivery of the course was outstanding. He used real life experiences from his work history that made the element of the course we were currently learning more relatable. Stuart provided great feedback to our practice questions we submitted and I feel very confident in taking the exam thanks to Stuarts help, support and guidance.
