Fast and efficient service from Platehunter

Ordered and paid for a plate online today and ordered the new number plate for the motorbike.After which I was advised that the plate was not available 😊. I asked for a refund for the physical number plate as well ( I had proof of purchase) but was dismissively fobbed off by them. Best to avoid them.

I bought a new car in August 2025 which came with a private registration which was not needed as I already had my own.... I put it on plate hunter in September 2025. I never ever thought i would be able to sell ital anywherr after speaking with family and friends and asking about the process of a private plate sale.

I never thought much more of it as it was on retention and not needed by myself

On Tuesday 17th February 2026 I received a phone call from plate hunter to say someone had put a bid in for my number plate and would I be happy to accept the quotation

I did accept I went through the next steps over the phone and send all was needed via email and post
Friday 20th February the money was in my bank no hidden costs or deductions the full amount which was agreed on the phone was paid

Was very unsure at first as I knew very little and just adverted my number plate randomly upon buying my new car but really good service and worth popping your number plate on there for sale. Hopefully you get the phone call like I did

Plate hunter were so helpful and talked me through the process of changing a number plate and made sure everything went smoothly with the delivery and informing DVLA etc
