Absolutely Shocking Service!

I never received my order. Been emailing back and forth and they have stated that I need to take it up with royal mail for not getting my parcel to me. Under the consumer contracts (information, cancellation and additional charges) regulations 2013 I am ALLOWED a FULL REFUND - Including shipping costs. However they are saying that they will either refund me for the items minus the shipping costs or resend the items with new shipping costs. Now they are ignoring my emails. WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!

UPDATE: The company has responded to this review claiming it is “untrue” and “unfair.” That’s not correct.

I ordered a product that was never delivered, received only a partial refund (minus shipping), and was ignored after multiple attempts to contact them.

I have full email records of this exchange. I stand by my review and am sharing my full experience in a video on ALL PLATFORMS so others can decide for themselves.

According to our records, Royal Mail attempted to deliver your package twice, and it appears that the item was not collected from their office. This situation is not something we can control, as confirmed by the tracking information available.

As outlined in our terms and conditions, once shipping has been paid and the order is dispatched, any missed deliveries or returns necessitate additional shipping costs. This policy is in place to help us manage shipping expenses, as we are a small business and cannot continually cover the costs for uncollected items.

While you mentioned that Royal Mail did not leave a card, we encourage you to reach out to them. They can confirm their delivery attempts to your address.

Threatening staff/ expired makeup and to her reply I have never done a charge back until now so she's lying to make her business look good. I asked the bank to charge back the foundations not the rest but it wouldn't allow

I ordered some foundations from this company, and when they arrived, I noticed they smelled of expired makeup. As a makeup artist with 15 years of experience and a bachelor's degree in makeup artistry, I know expired products when I see them! So, I contacted the company with a polite email, but I didn't hear back for three days. In response, I initiated a chargeback through my bank.

Later, I received a message from them asking me to return the products, downplaying the situation by saying that they had sold many items and assumed they were fine. I intended to send the products back, but I ended up forgetting to do so and eventually discarded them because no one reached out to me until now—five weeks later.

Today, I received an email that I found quite threatening. It stated:

"Hi James, we received your chargeback. We assume you returned the items to us? Or is this just another customer trying to get items for free? We will be arranging for those items to be collected from your salon if we don’t receive them back."

I completely understand that it was my fault for not returning the items before I went away, and I am fine with her taking back the money for her expired makeup. However, it is shocking and unprofessional for a business owner to threaten to come to my place of work.

In response to her, I want to clarify that I spent £30, not £50, and this is my first chargeback. So I would not of flagged up as dodgy! Furthermore, this is an honest review. I already said that she can take the money back for her expired product, and that’s perfectly acceptable. However, that does not justify threatening me.

Additionally, you replied three days after my second email and then left it for five weeks. While I admitted to forgetting to send the items back, it’s fortunate that I did, as you would have resold them to someone else. Any kind of threat is unacceptable, period.

Hi James, we emailed you straight away about returning the items back for a refund, in which you never did and opened a chargeback for the full order knowing by doing it that way you wouldn’t have to return them.

We received an email today from the bank about taking the money back, hence the email.

The products in question were checked by the warehouse staff and they were no expiry date on them, they looked and smelt fine. We asked for the order back so we could check the “smell” of the products as we didn’t receive them back we assume that’s because they were infact ok.

The bank actually flagged up as high risk order when you placed the order by shopify - meaning similar had happened before, we were happy for you to send the products back, you didn’t stick to that and still perused to claim money from a small business which is unacceptable, and we are intact within our rights to collect the items if we wanted to given you have receive or will receive a £50 refund. We are not aggressively “threatening you”

As a small business it’s damaging for customers to open chargebacks and keep products as well as a refund and maybe you should take that into account in future.

So many people think it’s ok to take from businesses and then leave a review like this to try cause more damage- so more awareness needs to be made and we are not put off in doing so because of a review

Avoid

Ordered some lashes when I was checking for updates it was showing it hasn’t been shipped out a month later still no parcel when I emailed them they said it was being returned to them as Royal Mail couldn’t deliver to me and would refund once they received it after that they ignored emails and never issued me a refund I contacted the bank and got a refund and they trying to dispute it but I have the screenshots of the update which never showed it was with Royal Mail or any failed delivery attempts just that it was in transit.

So good!

So good! I’ve ordered a few times delivery usually takes awhile or comes fast but it could be because of the delivery companies, no fault of their own, either way I can’t complain the products are great and and very affordable xxx

Amazing lashes

I bought few half lashes and few full strip lashes. The quality of the lashes is so worth the price. Pound lashes needs more coverage. The price you pay for quality lashes is amazing for myself personally and will definitely will be buying more for my Makeup Kit! ❤️

Avoid

So I ordered on the 2nd June, it’s now 24th June and I still have not recieved my order. I looked on Royal Mail shipping and they put returned back to seller, I have emailed poundlashes about 2/3 times to ask for a refund as my order is back to the seller and I have lost my money which I paid £16. I am not happy and I want my money back but I don’t think I will. Do not order from this company as you will lose your money and get no order or no refund!!! Such bad customer service and I’m so 🤬 off!

Nearly a month and still no order.

I placed an order on the 28th of May. Haven't had any order tracking or confirmation it was sent. I have sent numerous emails, facebook messages and instagram messages.

I have had 2 replies - one by email saying my order was lost by royal mail and the other via instagram saying my order never integrated on to their shipping system. Since then it has been silence again and I have had no order or no refund.

I have placed a few orders in the past and havent had any issued but unfortunately the same cannot be said this time and unless resolved within a matter of days I will never order again.

UPDATE ON 1ST JULY

STILL NO ORDER RECEIVED. ORDER WAS APPARENTLY POSTED LAST A WEEK AGO DESPITE NOT RECEIVING THE USUAL TRACKING EMAIL.

Your review is a a little unfair, We’ve had back and forth emails from you since the 17th June, you emailed Friday and it’s on the customer services list to go through in order of people emailing, not been responded to sooner as it’s been weekend and was being dealt with today.

Please don’t make out we’ve ignored you because that’s not the case - we’ve had a problem with Royal Mail out of our control which we have made everyone aware of and are dealing with as quick as we can.

I will never order from here again, their reply is such a lie

Absolutely awful experience with Pound Lashes. I’ve ordered from them many times before, but after this, never again.

I placed an order at the start of May. It’s now the end of June and I’ve received nothing. After going back and forth with their shockingly poor customer service, they promised to resend the order — that was clearly a lie. I waited patiently, followed up by email and Instagram message , and got completely ignored. I could see my messages were read, yet they chose not to respond.

Worse still, when I left comments on their Instagram posts asking for help, they deleted them to protect their image instead of actually resolving the issue. That says everything about how they treat their customers.

I eventually had to go through the Shop app just to try and get a refund — which I’m still waiting on. Looking at the other reviews here, I’m clearly not alone.

This company is unprofessional, dishonest, and has no respect for its customers. If I could give zero stars, I would. Avoid them at all costs.

Order was not resent because if it was how can 2 order have gone missing. I doubt you even sent the first now!!!!

Also those reply where at the beginning of the first order, where I said your customer service was shocking and I had to go backward and forward . After you said you'd send a second order out I got nothing back from you on both platforms .

I asked for a tracking number repeatedly, then I knew after about fourth time you weren't gonna reply.

So that why I got in touch with shop app. To get a refund I gave you a chance to set things right, it does not take over six weeks to send something out. I've got all my messages and emails saved, screenshot so you can lie on here as much as you want

funny how you can reply on here but not to your email or your Instagram messages

You and this company is unbelievable, you take no responsibility for your bad customer service and the way you treat your customers. You didn't care until you've been called out over this

As I've said repeatedly I emailed you up until you ignored me. End up Instagram messaging you after I posted something on your post and you told me to dm you. But once you said you'd sent the 2nd package ( that never came, like the first package never came) I email, Instagram messaged you and wrote on your Instagram posts and you ignore everything. I've got all the emails screenshot to prove it I've repeatedly reached out. I wouldn't of come on here if I'd not had a bad experience and read others haven't the same issue as myself. Your very quick to reply on here, just not to the customers that are emailing you as well as posting on your Instagram.

No order and getting ignored

Cannot tell you how many times/how frequently I order, many lashes in one order each time. Ordered ages ago 19th May and they are claiming it’s been delivered it hasn’t. Contacted around 8-9 times now and I’m getting constantly ignored and on the odd occasion a reply to basically call me a liar I’ve said if items have been delivered send proof (which they cannot as I haven’t had it!) reasons why I’m being ignored. Never ever had an issue and I’m not a customer who wants a freebie they can see I’m a regular and never had issues and they cannot resolve this.

Frustrated Customer

I wish this were a positive one. I love this mascara that I initially received through an IPSY bag, and I tried looking for it and found it through your company. However, I have never had to write a negative review, nor do I like to. But I am at my end right now with not receiving any support. I had purchased a mascara, Beautaniq Beauty Mascara Great Lengths, on April 28th/2025, and it is now June 12th. I have not only tried emailing (more than a couple of times), but have also tried reaching out on your Instagram messages. Still no response from anyone. The last message, which I emailed on Monday, June 9th, was an automated response saying someone would get back to me in 2 working days, but still nothing. I do not know what is happening and why nobody can help, but this is not a professional or ethical way to do business. I would appreciate my mascara, OR I would like a refund.

Very poor !

Order took ages to arrive. There was an item missing as it was out of stock. I never received a refund!
No response to email and looking at other similar customer reviews I’m not impressed.
I prefer to support small business but I’m sorry but I’d steer clear from using this company.

Hi Margi, delivery dispatch is 2-4 days currently stated at checkout, as you emailed in a weekend response will be on a Monday.

We send out 1000s orders a day to happy customers which do not share the experience on here unfortunately, sorry you didn’t get the desired experience.

Great products!!! Slow delivery!

Been a customer for years, I absolutely love your lashes and your lash glue is crazy good!

Your only downfall is you take 2/4 days to ship anything out and then 6/7days for delivery it’s self so your potentially waiting near 11/12 days to get your lashes so for last minute shopper / buyer it’s not ideal and you can’t track your parcel either can be frustrating if your going away on holiday

I placed an order on the 22nd April and…

I placed an order on the 22nd April and the order arrived quite quickly. I was super pleased with this. But there was a note inside saying that one of the items I wanted was out of stock and that I’d be sent the item soon. I waited until the 1st May and I emailed Poundlashes. I got no response. So I then messaged them on Facebook on the 13th May kindly asking where the missing item was. I got a reply on the 14th May from them apologising and saying that it would be sent out asap, and today is now the 28th May, I’m still waiting! I paid through Klarna so I’ll have to request a refund from them. The customer service is diabolical. I’m really disappointed and I would avoid this company!! The order number is 294242
