I work or a roofing company and I often need the property assessment for parcel ID numbers and to confirm the municipality in case we need a building/roofing permit.
Today I needed this information for a home in carbon county. PropertyRecord.com was the service that Carbon County utilizes for their property assessment information.
This is the first time in my career that I have had to pay for a property assessment. Our company has been in business for over 20 years, and we service many counties in our area all of which provide this basic information for free. That being said, I am aware that is an issue with Carbon County NOT PropertyRecord.com.
Given that information, I will say that I purchased the "basic" report for $8 and I wasn't even sure if the info I was going to need would be included because there was no way of knowing exactly what was included in the report. (Thankfully, what I required was included). Along thesse lines, at first the site said my charge would be $1. Then for an accessible PDF it would be an additional $6 and change. In the end I was charged $8. Not a fan of the mounting charge minimal though it was.

I will say that even the basic report included a ton of information including local comps and the nearest sex offenders along with other useful info.
If you are looking to purchase a home this tool would be very useful. For the basic information I required this report was too much and not worth paying for.

The site is very user friendly. I found all of the information I needed right away. The content is laid out in an attractive and clean way with helpful charts and other information (including sex offenders with photos). I highly recommend Propertyrecord.com for public property records.

Facing the unknown, it was simple and easy working with Mr, T.E. Wright and in helping having property information. Unfortunately, there was no recent update since it was a developers layout...and most importantly I could not identify how apply the reference points listed.

They supplied all the information that I was looking for as well as more than I expected. This extra information was very helpful in explaining things that I have been wondering about and never took the time to look up.

It did what it should. I got the information it stated I would get, although I was hoping for a little more detail, it was still more than work the $3. I even got a follow up email fairly quickly asking if I received all the information I needed and if not, he was more than happy to retrieve any further info I need!

This was the first time using this service. While I was not sure what I was doing, then end result was that I found what needed to help assist a tax client in preparing their taxes. I appreciated that the cost was considerably low and that I was able to obtain the report, print it and even save it for reference later.
